Really excellent interview! I'm currently on that audio newbie's journey of discovery described here. I bought a used Zoom H4n Pro & 2 Podics, but then I realised I needed to drive the Zoom at 100% and the mics were still well short of ideal levels. I definitely did not want to buy a £65 Fethead for each mic. Instead, I've bought a Rode NT1 Signature condenser mic with the idea of getting a second one. Now I have just discovered the existence of the Vocaster Two and it looks like the EXACT thing I needed all along. In September 2024 they are super cheap - so I've just ordered a Vocaster Two. When it arrives I'll be able to decided which podcast mics to keep & which to sell on. 😀
This device is what i wished from Rode. I sold my Rodecaster Pro II for this and do everything with VSTs now what the RCP II can do. It is MUCH EASIER to reach to the device, it saves a ton of desk space and is TRULY mobile, fits in a bag back!!!
These seem cool for a on the go podcast set up. I use a rodecaster pro, but it such a hassle to move it whenever we have to go out of town for shows and stuff. So we can take this to record episodes on the air bnb or hotel we’re at. Cool.
Just picked one up for my upcoming Podcast ‘Just…Humor Me’. Great informational video guys. Love the Bluetooth option.

On the app, the bottom mixer if we mute host mic, can remote guest like aux phone call or bluetooth phone call still hear me when i spoke to the host mic? Its very important for remotely recording show for 2 guest and i dont want the audience here my voice (host). I want all the guest hear me but my voice not included in the show mix
Nice. The only thing Vocaster two bothers me was the enhance feature is too strong. I wanted to control the intensity. Glad the feature will be updated!
A beneficial video, could you please share how you connected the two devices to your laptop in the video? Could you also suggest how one can backup audio via TRRS cable from the interface? Many thanks.
are you running both through the same daw as a aggregate device? I need 4 inputs don't mind doing running them as aggregate as long as the software works if not ill just get the roadcaster 2 lol
It is useless for live singing if it does not have built-in reverb and delay effects. It's just for marketing purposes since you get free hardware. Is that what the preset voice enhancement does? Realistically, that's a cheap option as well.
Guys this was really great to watch, very cool chemistry between the two of you! I liked it a lot and learned at least as much!

Cool.
They're exceptionally portable and very easy to setup!

Excellent Video. Learned so much. Thank you
I hope they make a dark of the app.

Just got mine today. The edit feature is live.
The edit feature lets you control the intensity of the compression. You have to lower it significantly, but your voice ends up sounding great.

Can you use the camera jack to plug your phone in to take video with it ???

Is the host Ron DeSantis’s son?
The design is so ugly, but damn this sounds great
Why is it ugly? Did you noticed the Robot Face?
@@koenignero looks like it was designed in 2005 along with the pod ux2’s 🤓
