Awesome review guys. Been looking at the Vocaster 2 bundle for my first podcast set up. You’ve helped me make my decision on it. How would you say the dm14v mic stands up to say the sm7b or mv7x for example? It sounded great to me.
Hey, James! Glad that you enjoyed the video. I appreciate you reaching out. Even with it being a lower priced option to the SM7b or the MV7, I do think it's a really great option. While you can never go wrong with the SM7b, for the money, the DM14 will certainly get the job done. I hope this helps! Hi Sing For Me Entertainment, thanks for the question! The Vocaster is not compatible with iOS or Android. It is compatible with Mac OS, Windows and iPadOS. So if you have an iPad Pro, you would still be able to record on the go! Let me know if you have any further questions! @@sweetwater just the answer I’ve been looking for. I record with an iPad Pro. Would you happen to know if the set up app is also available for the iPad Pro? Thanks
@@trentgilliam5192 Hey Trent, there is no software for the iPad Pro at this time. Most of the features, like auto-gain and FX applied presets, can be accessed on the unit itself. The internal mixer, and features associated with it like Loop Back, are probably not accessible from the iPad Pro, as they require the Vocaster Hub software. Let me know if you have any other questions! Drake Sobehrad, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3271, drake_sobehrad@sweetwater.com

nice presentation!
With no headphone mix control on the hardware, what is it preset at in terms of mic sound vs say audio coming through the computer on a zoom call?
The vocaster 2 has a built in mix minus for bluetooth........take my money.
Nice! I wonder why there wasn’t a 4 input model
Not as good as Troy and Abed in the Morning but nice tribute
Lipstick.
The world needs more podcasts. Especially one with two white guys as hosts
