    Dude....make sure to tell people to put the camera into any other mode other than the A+ mode before navigating to the SHOOT9 menu item. If the camera is in the A+ mode, only SHOOT1 through 6 will be available for selection.

      Thank you for this! You have saved me a 6 months hectic thinking about this. Most videos talking about this topic don't say this. On my end I have to be on the camera mode for it to work. I was used to the manual mode which did not provide the clean HDMI output.

    You have uploaded the ultimate video for begginers like us 👏👏👏👏👏 I followed every step of your tutorial and everything works fantastic !!!!!!!! Just one question: in the 3:30 of your demonstration, you say that after 30mins the screen shuts off and your advice is to tap a button to be able to continue. Which button is that??? For example could it be the menu button?
    Thank you in advance 🤗

    Thanks for the video. I'm thinking about getting the M50 Mark II to use as a webcam for my online teaching but I'm seeing so many conflicting things about whether or not it shuts off after 30 minutes. Everything I've read says there's no way to prevent it shutting off (other than also plugging it in via USB and having EOS Utility running in the background) so I just want to confirm - you're saying it can run as a stream/webcam uninterrupted for an unlimited time via HDMI? Only the display on the camera turns off after 30 mins?

    • @NorthernVikingEveryday
      @NorthernVikingEveryday  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's correct. The screen shuts off after 30 minutes max, but you can continue streaming. Just make sure you have all the settings correct.

      Correct, as long as your settings are correct, the stream still works even though your screen has shut off.

      If the camera is several feet away, tapping a button is not an option. I"ve got a EOS M50 and was thinking about upgrading to the Mark Ii so I can use autofocus while livestreaming or recording interviews on Zoom (on the EOS M50 there is no way to get rid of the autofocus box). A few times I've had the video go out at about the 30 minute mark and had to switch cameras. I want to avoid this. I want to be able to stream or record for more than 30 minutes. @@NorthernVikingEveryday

      If you are live streaming you can have it set to a half hour maximum until the screen turns off. However the live stream will still continue even though the screen is off. To turn the screen back on just hit a button on the camera.

      I have done longer streams 1-2 hours without problem. The screen on the camera turns off after 30 min so you have to hit a button to turn it back on but it doesn't affect the stream. I haven't tried 24 hours but you will definitely need a dummy battery.
