People will hate to hear it, but the P210 is really a better pistol design than the 1911 as far as I’m concerned. Which isn’t knocking the 1911 because it definitely has some things going for it particularly in having a linear trigger. It also deserves some credit for how early it was developed. Browning was really just light years ahead having such a competent design at that time and more or less set the stage for handgun development going forward up to the present time. The P210 is a really fantastic handgun, though.
@@ColterBrog I’m now the proud owner of a brand new p210A TGT. I got to send a few rounds down range at the shop today and can’t wait to get her home to my range. This gun is way beyond my capabilities. A pistol rest is on order
@@lowprofile2412 That’s awesome. If you’re like me, it will quickly become a favorite. They really deserve more attention from the shooting community than they currently receive. I fell in love with it the first time I handled one. It took about two weeks before I couldn’t resist the temptation anymore and had to get one. It hasn’t missed a trip to the range yet.
@@ColterBrog You can’t go wrong with SIG’s, glad you like your P210. I have a birthday in June, maybe I’ll get a combo Father’s Day/Birthday present. PS I just read my comment, I meant to say it was a nice video, it was very informative. Shoot straight & stay safe.
The P365 takedown lever style has existed since at least 1898. The Luger pistols used the same mechanism. The P210 is more closely related to the 1910-1935 era depending on what the parameters are.
Kinda like a 1911 but without all the guide rod twisting and drama, basically less hassle than a 1911!

Nice was a nice video. It seems to disassemble just like a CZ 75B.
Very similar, yes. Thanks for the comment and compliment.

Dated takedown system. I prefer the takedown Sig invented for the P365 series.
