We have won a series of cases in CA that made the microstamping requirement go away, so now it is much easier to make a gun to CA DOJ requirements

It's an issue with the requirements. Some manufacturers don't even bother submitting them to be tested. It costs thousands of dollars for the manufacturer to have a gun added and any slight difference in model needs to be submitted separately. Has basically nothing to do with safety is total BS

Great informational video! I carry the Smith and Wesson shield for the summer and the Glock 19 during cooler times.
Scott is an excellent instructor, he was my Ventura county CCW instructor the last 8 years, excellent marksman as well. I highly recommend his classes! - Acmetnt
He’s a boomer recommending “leather gear” when almost all of us use kydex holsters. Also a gentle press to the front of a Glock slide will put it out of battery and will not fire. His advice on revolvers is downright archaic. Rex Jones who is even older is much more up to date on firearms and gear.

It's so crazy law abiding citizen have to pick certain guns depending on what county they live in California. Wow no right real 2A rights for law abiding citizen. I am glad that l live in an constitutional carry state
That is one of the reasons I moved to Arkansas 15 years ago. We formally have constitutional carry now, before it was OK to carry if you were "on a journey", defined as leaving your county of residence.

Just turned 21 and I applied for my glock 19 and my m&p shield 9 … interview is next week with San Bernardino county. Wish i could add another firearm to the list without waiting 2 years but dont have the money haha.

I keep that 40 glock. I bought a lot of guns and California denied them smh. So just looked up what guns was legal In California a went with 40 glock Smith wesson
If you’re too afraid to carry with a round in the chamber, then you have not trained enough with your weapon and should not be carrying because you are more of a liability until you get trained

I honestly thought carrying with a round in the chamber was a standard thing that everyone did. But then again the first time a handled weapons was in the military so it’s what I still do to this day
just a heads up dont expect La city or la county to let you add any new firearms once youre issued your permit, you have to wait until your renewal to add any additional firearms
It’s unfortunate you are locked into 3 pistols. There should be no restrictions on the model you carry. There isn’t one for my AZ ccw.
Once it gets taken to court it will be struck down . Like all the other crap that state pulls out its crusty butt.

If you have a ccw it should be a united license just like a car. If you can drive a car cross country you should be able to have your constitutional rights covered country wide just like any other constitutional right as a free living citizen of the United States of America. It’s your god given right to life.

Nevada is Open Carry not a fan of that but i still get to Carry my firearm when i go to Nevada.
Nevada open carry is best when you’re in a vehicle. Open carry in public is really risky because you never know if a criminal is nearby and is carrying concealed. They can easily get the drop on you and take whatever you got

You Should Do A Update. I'm Pretty Sure You Can Carry Open Or Concealed In Nevada With Or Without A CCW(Permit) Firearm Just Has To Be In A Holster. Thank You For The Content

Check on the post office thing. There was a ruling out of Florida, IIRC, that said that the po restriction is unconstitutional

@danLTa1as many as you want, just can’t buy more than one every month. You can also have illegal ones if you moved into cali with them or if a grandfather passes it to you with inheritance or smth. There are some exceptions
They have made it no matter where you drive it is impossible to not violate the law. You can’t travel thru a city and not be within 400 yards of a school, court, post office, a hospital, polling place, airport or some federal building.

I’d like to know what ever happened to the guy who defended himself at his house and had a CCW, did everything legal yet when he was attacked he fired back and his firearm was still confiscated and left him exposed in LA.

The reason it was taken away was the thug who confronted him ran away, at that point the threat of great bodily harm or death was nill and when he did fire the gun the guy was running and the bullet struck a stucco wall well behind him good thing the bullet wasn't higher or it could have cleared the wall and injured or killed someone in the house across the street, and the CCW holder would have been the one going to jail.
As a current CCW holder, does the renewal for permit now have the mandatory 8 hrs? Compared to 4 hrs a couple months ago? Thanks.
What about accessories like a red dot , light or a different lower like how sig 365 has a bunch of aftermarket lowers

You need to do a video on why Orange County CCW website has been under construction for a couple months. You can’t even get your CCW. They just keep pushing the date back saying the website is under construction what a clever way to make people not reserve their second amendment, right
Question I was a Ccw holder in Texas I am an armed security officer in LA I APPLIED FOR CCW IN MARCH I WAS TOLD I WIULD GET A CALL I. 9-12 months . I have to qualify twice a year at the range and on my application I listed the same model gun as my work gun the glock 21 and I have taken a psychological test to work armed and passed. Will I have any problems getting my CCW
You may depending on your city/municipal Sherriff department. I waited over two years for my CCW and still have heard nothing. I gave up at this point.

Actually it's a lot worst, it's expensive ($400+) and even if you get it, you CAN'T carry anywhere. I wish we had a pro-gun Supreme Court.
It’s because of the culture, economy, and geography. CA is such a big state right on the coast and a liberal one at that. All of these are reasons why we see what we see on the streets and in the courthouses. It’s such a capitalistic state they do their best to charge you at every corner they can. All you can do is have a good attitude and go out and make money 😂

Do you know what a LEOSA is? My buddy is a MP(Military Police) in the Army Reserves and has one. He told me he can conceal carry in all 50 states. Is that true? Is it only for People in the Army? Hpw ow does it work?
Uncle Freedom has a vid on it. Yes if you are a peace officer you can carry 50 state legally, per federal law. But some peace officers get arrested each year as some California and New York police officers are not knowledgeable and arrest visiting LEO anyway. Legally any officer can carry there departments gun 50 state legally. But many officers do not know this.

In Ca. Every regulation regarding buying a firearm or their ccw conditions infringes on the 2nd amendment.
It's all BS.
It violates the 2nd amendment it does not infringe if you are taken to jail the state is depriving you of rights therefore the state it self is criminally liable to recompensation . But Californians dont read up on law so this trash gets passed there. They do it cause they can and you the people allow it.

Just reminds me how much I hate CA any why I moved. most counties have 3 (Fresno is 6) so if i had to do it: Glock 21SF 30SF (or 23C) and Sig P365 or M&P purely based on ease of platform. 21 is perfect for the full size slot. a 10mm G20 barrel slides into a G21 slide and you can pop in 20 mags(as neutured as they are) 20/21 are the same frame but normally the 21 is on police trade in sale. Who knows you might find a transferable Gen4. Best part is that 20/21 can host about a dozen caliber conversions which dont need background checks or 30 day rationing. Same for the 30SF, most of the benefits but in the sweet spot between 19 and 26. Then the honorary spot goes the 23/23c. It's just a Glock 19 in .40, you can convert back to 9mm for training or 45 GAP if you can find the ammo and barrel. P365 is no brainer. you can customize it back and forth as you like. Then the M&P is as easy as glock to find aftermarket support, plus comfortable to carry. Since moving out where you can just walk around concealed without bribing the sherriff, I alternate between a M&P and Glock 20 (benefits of being tall) which i will be rotating yet again if I find way to afford a new 9mm Glock duty ready.

A federal judge issued a blanket “shall issue” so California shall issue a CCW. It does take time because of backlogs.
