EXACTLY! I love Rachel Oates and she’s one of my favorite TH-camrs. I’m not being biased because I’m a fan, she didn’t do anything wrong. Gabbie sent her her poetry book to review. She did. She didn’t like it. She wasn’t rude by any means in the review either. She critiqued what she did wrong, told her what she could have done to make it better, and compared other poets’ works that got it right. The only “rude” thing she said (it wasn’t) was that the “poetry” was lazy. She was pointing out the truth! Better to do that than lie. The problem with Gabbie is, she’s so spoiled that she believes everything she creates the first time is perfect. As a person who also writes poetry, I can speak from experience, not every poem I write is good. Sometimes I finish writing one and think “oof! That needs a lot of work! Let me redo it.” And I redo it until it’s up to standards. Poetry isn’t easy by any means, even for people who were born with the gift to write it. You can’t just write a poem down without going over it and critiquing it. The way I make sure my poems are good is I think to myself “if I was a publisher reading this, what am I looking for? What am I meant to feel? And does this poem make sense?” Gabbie does none of that because she’s so narcissistic. You think poets like Edgar Allan Poe or Robert Frost never made mistakes? They have! That’s what made them better at their jobs!

My mom's best friend is the RedBull distributor for Southeast Alaska, and I used to have several RedBull lights, mini fridges, etc in my room🤣 I had so much RedBull merch
So she decided to "save the world" but only when she's dead because she wants to spend her money and has no interest in charity work? How admirable. She couldn't even list the things I've done when I was at my poorest. Volunteering at a cat shelter. Buying refugee kids winter coats as Christmas gifts (if you're ever broke but want to give something meaningful, give something like that, it's only $10-15 per coat). Volunteering at a food bank. My colleague's young son just found his father (her ex-husband) dead so she's been off work. I just looked at what I had in my kitchen and made berry explosion cupcakes with buttercream frosting and a homemade preserve. Didn't spend a penny extra. Delivered them to her house. She sent me a really heartfelt message. Hell I bring bags with me and pick up garbage when I walk my dog. I stood in the halls and lobby of my building for sometimes 15 minutes wearing a mask, talking to old people during the pandemic because I knew they were lonely and like to pet my little dog. There are SO many ways to make this world a better place or at least a little brighter. And she isn't doing any of them. Stop talking about it and do it. Talk is cheap. If you want the world to be better you gotta do it everyday! No one cares about your posthumous deeds when you're fully capable of doing things right now and don't.

The problem with Gabbie is, she’s so spoiled that she believes everything she creates the first time is perfect. As a person who also writes poetry, I can speak from experience, not every poem I write is good. Sometimes I finish writing one and think “oof! That needs a lot of work! Let me redo it.” And I redo it until it’s up to standards. Poetry isn’t easy by any means, even for people who were born with the gift to write it. You can’t just write a poem down without going over it and critiquing it. The way I make sure my poems are good is I think to myself “if I was a publisher reading this, what am I looking for? What am I meant to feel? And does this poem make sense?” Gabbie does none of that because she’s so narcissistic. You think poets like Edgar Allan Poe or Robert Frost never made mistakes? They have! That’s what made them better at their jobs!

Okay. But why do people even want Gabbie on their podcasts anymore? She just says the same shit over and over again... This was basically no different from the show she was on with Perez Hilton 😑 . And even when she's asked to provide more context, she doesn't. I suppose at the very least you can say it's good she doesn't seem to be trying to trudge up any new drama, but that doesn't mean everything she has done or said during her time on the internet is just erased. Just like with many other creators, she needs to either actually take accountability or just leave the internet entirely.
I know both guys are a bit problematic, but I felt sorry for the guys who had to sit there with her for that hour. Like, how were they supposed to respond to Gabbie’s bull crap?

She couldn't even list the things I've done when I was at my poorest. Volunteering at a cat shelter. Buying refugee kids winter coats as Christmas gifts (if you're ever broke but want to give something meaningful, give something like that, it's only $10-15 per coat). Volunteering at a food bank.
My colleague's young son just found his father (her ex-husband) dead so she's been off work. I just looked at what I had in my kitchen and made berry explosion cupcakes with buttercream frosting and a homemade preserve. Didn't spend a penny extra. Delivered them to her house. She sent me a really heartfelt message.
Hell I bring bags with me and pick up garbage when I walk my dog. I stood in the halls and lobby of my building for sometimes 15 minutes wearing a mask, talking to old people during the pandemic because I knew they were lonely and like to pet my little dog.
There are SO many ways to make this world a better place or at least a little brighter. And she isn't doing any of them. Stop talking about it and do it. Talk is cheap. If you want the world to be better you gotta do it everyday! No one cares about your posthumous deeds when you're fully capable of doing things right now and don't.

Not staying to watch but I thought maybe I should explain why. I don’t want to hear about Gabby Hanna unless she does something awful. It feels like everyone is just making videos about her so she gets set off again. Drama has been minimal lately with everyone focusing on the Depp case. GH has problems but she’s not hurting people & I don’t want to feed the machine that seems to be trying to get her back into hurting people.
