She was determined to create drama and strife and did so right up to the point at which her character was killed off earlier than planned just to be rid of her. I'm sure no one involved with the production regretted "seeing the back of her." As for Joey's whereabouts, I believe he's back in L.A. fostering litters of husky puppies and their moms.

I don't think Joey ever "lived" in London, but he has stayed there before for a few weeks/a month or so a few times if I'm remembering correctly. He isn't there now that I know of, he's currently living in LA!

When she said it's so great that Joey wants to still be friends, she is cognizant of all the friends she has lost due to past behavior. Laura saying, she likes her A LITTLE, is her trying to be fair, because Laura wants a second chance to the heights and success she once had. I feel she's a little blinded by her own past right now.
My husband's and my dog is a rescue. He's always had a tendency to guard/hoard things. We've let him sleep in the bed for 3 yrs since we got him at 2 yrs old. If he is on the bed. He guards the person he is next to. So he will bark/growl, lunge for, bite either of us for moving towards the person he's guarding. As soon as we make him jump off the bed he kinda snaps out of it, shakes himself and acts friendly again. So we've started training him to not sleep on the bed with us. So far it works great. I do miss him snuggling up under the covers but we still get to cuddle on the sofa. First yr he basically spent under a blanket, flying out to bark at anyone who moved or made sudden noise. Oh and to steal food. Now hes gotten playful and curious and is like. Showing us a personality! But we still have a long way to go to help him feel safer and calmer.
