I honestly think that she wouldn't be as hated or so "canceled" if she simply took accountability for what she did, like she wants everyone else around her to do.

Yes I completely agree. I’m about 4 years younger than gabbie and I remember when vine was created and got popular. Things were so different back then and technology advanced so quickly since, as did social media.

Can we just address how much that sweater brings out the color of Adam’s eyes? Cause they’re absolutely lovely Now. I was a fan of Gabbie back in her story time days when I was much younger. I knew they were exaggerated and largely false like most story time videos, but I found them funny and entertaining and seeing the world through her view at the time was rather enjoyable. But sadly she is not at all the person she was then. I think she gained and lost her popularity so fast that no one even really knew her personally at all before she was big and famous right off vine. But losing all that so fast as we grew up and interests changed, made her spiral a little and she’s still mid spiral in my opinion. As people started to realize she wasn’t all that great, she got defensive and I think her mental health took a turn for the worse, and I don’t mean her depression and anxiety. Yeah it very much depends on the family. We didn’t have a lot of money growing up so I was 16 with a trackphone back in 2008 but I remember having a family shitty windows vista computer with internet/aol dialup as far back as 5th grade (so like 2002 or 3?). I remember go8ng with my mom to the library so she could print her resume as an elementary student before we had that computer and I’m just a year younger than Gabbie.

My family didn’t have very much money, so everything I got was old and/or a hand-me-down. All through my high school I didn’t have internet even though it was very common place at that point. We don’t know the details of Gabbie’s childhood, but she’s mentioned being paranoid about money and not having it because of how she grew up, leaving me to believe her family didn’t have much of it.

I’m 25 and I had a mobile when it was just text/call, some games (what ever came preloaded with the phone, no App Store) and I had credit paid onto my phone which is how I paid to text/call. I was coming into the era of a phone being able to go on the internet, but it costed money and I never bothered trying. I agree with all points but one- I’m only 25 and my first cell phone was when I was 13 and I had limited texts, no internet on my phone other than WiFi, and the main social media was still MySpace, with Facebook starting to ramp up. So of all GH’s exaggerations, I don’t think that was one 😂
I am 25 years old and had a flip phone in grade 8/9 - so ya, it’s totally possible she didn’t have her first phone until her older years. Not all of us grew up in bumpin cities with families who had/have money. - she isn’t wrong about kids, phones and social media.

Now. I was a fan of Gabbie back in her story time days when I was much younger. I knew they were exaggerated and largely false like most story time videos, but I found them funny and entertaining and seeing the world through her view at the time was rather enjoyable. But sadly she is not at all the person she was then. I think she gained and lost her popularity so fast that no one even really knew her personally at all before she was big and famous right off vine. But losing all that so fast as we grew up and interests changed, made her spiral a little and she’s still mid spiral in my opinion. As people started to realize she wasn’t all that great, she got defensive and I think her mental health took a turn for the worse, and I don’t mean her depression and anxiety. Whatever it is that makes her act the way she does without her realizing that she is in the wrong, has gotten worse as the tables turned on her.

I’m a few years younger than Gabbie and texts were limited on my first few phones. Social media existed but before the first smart phones it was way different.
Gabbie lives her life as a victim. It's her "identity" (ie her conversation with Jessie Smiles. It was so so hard to listen to the whole thing).
I cannot stand her.. more than Trisha Paytas 😬 at least Trisha knows sometimes when to take accountability; I feel the difference between the two is Trisha is manic whereas Gabbie is cold and calculated. She knows exactly what she is doing. Ugh, I have an ex friend like that. She's currently trying to get me taken off TikTok, just out of spite because I was honest and told her she was a toxic person and I couldn't be around her anymore.

The producers didn't miss, they got exactly what they wanted. Their show is now being talked about among a whole group of new people, part of a younger generation, part of the more 'gossip' community. Shows do these things on purpose. They always do. Sometimes people create a bit of scandal to get their name out there. That's what this was.
I was so impressed by Perez during this. He politely waited for her to finish whereas years ago he wouldn’t have. Then he spoke in a regular tone. There’s an old song from the 70s called Poor Poor Pitiful Me & I always think of it when Gabbie whines.

Yeah it very much depends on the family. We didn’t have a lot of money growing up so I was 16 with a trackphone back in 2008 but I remember having a family shitty windows vista computer with internet/aol dialup as far back as 5th grade (so like 2002 or 3?). I remember go8ng with my mom to the library so she could print her resume as an elementary student before we had that computer and I’m just a year younger than Gabbie.

About her lying to try to sound older, that might not necessarily be true. I’m 25 and the first time I got a phone it was a prepaid flip phone that couldn’t take pictures, and that costed money just to get on the extremely slow internet that was not user friendly. My family didn’t have very much money, so everything I got was old and/or a hand-me-down. All through my high school I didn’t have internet even though it was very common place at that point. We don’t know the details of Gabbie’s childhood, but she’s mentioned being paranoid about money and not having it because of how she grew up, leaving me to believe her family didn’t have much of it.

I’m 25 and I had a mobile when it was just text/call, some games (what ever came preloaded with the phone, no App Store) and I had credit paid onto my phone which is how I paid to text/call. It was the traditional number buttons where you had a few letters per button and had to press through them individually. I was coming into the era of a phone being able to go on the internet, but it costed money and I never bothered trying. I remember going on Facebook using my Nintendo DS and thinking that was so strange 🤣 So whilst I agree with everything else you’re saying, it’s not impossible for her have had her first phone before the whole smartphone/internet craze. She has 5 years on me and technology advances pretty quickly.

I feel like this whole situation with this table talk was to basically rebrand her image. She's not going to take accountability, ever! I'm 32, and texting actually wasn't a big thing when I was younger. When I was 16 I had a flip phone that had t9 texting. That gives you kind of an idea of how lacking the whole texting / social media was compared to today. I'm sure she's lying about a lot of things, but I don't think that's one of them.
I will say I'm turning 30 next year, and my first phone had limited texts, like had to pay per text message, and the internet was shit. MySpace was a think and Facebook was starting i think, but you couldn't really use it on your phones, only desktops, so that parts true.
