After spending a month in the philippines I am currently looking into this now. No job when i came back home, but i will continue on network marketing courses when i find a job to build my skills. being away was an eye opener for me as a 32 year old and i dont believe in the whole "work until you are old then enjoy your life".
Same boat. I’m struggling with the networking part. 34 next year. No kids. Just lost my job making 70k a year after 12 years with one company. I have quite a bit saved but have legit zero idea to proceed. Stumbled on this channel and I’m ready to jump ship. My game plan before losing my job was debt free in one more* year and build a tiny home van. Had to sell the van. Smh. Now I’m nearly 34 starting from nearly zero. I’m done with corpo America but I have no idea what to do next. Or what my skill set actually is even with 12 years at a company and how to translate it. I have no idea how to adult. I was on cruise mode. Smh. (My role was customer service / leadership / case work at a bank)

Yeah. The thailand thing is tough because unless you have your own biz you will be working remote on american hours
remote jobs in america that let you work overseas are far less few than people understand. Especially entry level stuff

Im trying to figure out which visa is right for me planning on moving to Thailand soon ! Did my research I’m 26 so of course I’m not getting a retirement visa . Question is the Thailand work visa for digital nomads ? What type of visa is best ?
As far as I know, the Thai work visa isn't for digital nomads. Some countries have a digital nomad visa, with most needing a high income. However, not Malaysia. Look up their digital nomad visa and you'll be surprised

I've also ran into a few people who think they can make a living by going out and filming the nightlife/girly bars/party scenes out there. Truth is there are literally hundreds of TH-cam channels who do the exact same thing. TH-cam has also been cracking down and demonitizing those channels like crazy lately. Any channel where you go out filming girls working in bars or ones which promote the sex tourist industry have a hard time getting monetized now.
Glad you never mentioned Crypto currency. I've ran into alot of people thinking they can make a career of it over there. They want to become Crypto Kings and Bitcoin bros. They often get suckered into these rug pull/ponzi schemes where some scam artists will boast about how their newest meme coin will turn their $2,000 investment into a $10,000 investment within a few months lol. Most of those fools end up losing everything.
Certificates of Deposit are paying as much as 5.5% interest now. A $100,000 investment would get u $5,500 in a year. A $200,000 investment could get you $11,000 in one year.
