    This is awesome content. I run a mobile dumpster business in Sydney Australia. We call them "skip bins" or in my case "mobile skip bins or trailer skip bins".
    Our tipping fees are a joke. $385 per ton, mattresses are $110 per item. Tyres are $77 plus.
    And yes, customers overloading our skips is hard to control.

      I guess having outrageously high disposal fee's is one reasons you live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Those are some of the highest I've ever heard of for sure. Thanks for checking in and taking the time to watch my videos. Drive safely.

    Great video John. It's like in the tree care business after you get started doing the job these customers that come out to check on the progress of the work and say 'while you are here can you do... " and want you too trim something or remove some bush or small tree for free. My response is always no but we can add that on for x amount of $ while we are here. I have learned certain costumes will always test you too see what they can get for free or for a deep discount after you start your initial contract and I learned if you don't set the ground rules from the beginning you will get walked all over every single time.

    Way way back when i was young 😮 i did snow plowing sometimes 3 days straight with just naps here and there in a truck with holes in the floor and no heat. Nowadays salting is where the moneys at because of lawsuits. Couldn’t do it now it’s a tough go. Keep up the great videos and don’t pull no punches 👍

    For your master classes, contracts, etc.. Do these apply to areas outside your area? I love your videos and I want to invest in myself and my company. I am in Arkansas, just wanted to verify that I will receive information that I can hit the ground with. Again, I love your content!!

    This video was just passed along to me from a Facebook group when I asked about dump trailer rental contracts. I have an apartment construction business and own a Big Tex 14ft dump trailer that needs better utilization. Your link to the contracts doesn't work now. Is that still an option?

    Great stuff John, thanks for sharing! What do you think about starting the business in a shared shared office space (like a Regus) and finding a separate address to store the cans? Im in a city and finding space is tough.

    • @samedaydumpster
      @samedaydumpster  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would strongly encourage you to see if you really need an office space at all in the beginning? I honestly run 98% of my business from the cab of my Peterbilt or fro inside my pickup truck. Save that office space money and put it towards a second smaller yard that benefits you logistically in having dumpsters strategically placed through out your city.

    Do you have any videos thay discuss where the trash actually goes. And how to set up accounts with landfills? My area has 0 transfer stations and all the landfills only take specific things

    Nothing's free in America. I don't give dumpsters for free. Everybody pays for my dumpster. I also do snow removal and nothing is free and still removal.
