Make no mistakes about it, Cody has one of the sweetest shops I’ve ever seen! Hard work def pays off. Thanks for watching guys, as always… Thanks for the support. 👊🏾
That’s a lot of subscribers!!!! Casey I feel does as good of job with the content on this channel as anyone on TH-cam. I appreciate you taking the time to check out the channel. Very much appreciated brother
Thanks for the content! I have a Lawn Care Busniess out here in Tooele. I just bought a trailer and 2 dumpsters about 6 weeks ago. I have been advertising but had no luck renting any out. Any advice? Did I just start at a slow time of the year? Thanks!👊
If I was just starting out I would post 2 - 3 different ads on KSL.com. I believe they will let you post a couple for free. Those clients aren't always the best paying, but when you just need to get some traction and get the wheels rolling, KSL is a great way locally without spending the big bucks with Google Ads. Best of luck to you my friend.
The timing of these videos is always on point for us. We have a few copy cats in our market and need to really up our branding game. We are all about a rising tide lifting all boats, but goddamn, did you have to get the same color boat😅 😅😅😅
It's true for every market, lots of "Copy Cats" for sure. I do believe the stronger your brand the more eyes you have on what you're doing. That's positive and negative both, but for guys that refuse to go "All in on your website" and have truly the most kick ass site in their industry will continue to struggle. Thanks for checking out the video brother.
You have inspired me. I’m retiring from my current job soon and my wife and I are starting our next chapter so we bit the bullet and went and picked up our new Hooklift truck and a couple cans. I live in Montana and there is NOTHING out here in the way of local can builders. I’ve talked to a ton of builders all over the country but if I could ask is there a builder out there that you would recommend
John, what CRM/rental system do you use? I’ve got equipment on order and am building out the brand and systems now before we fully go live. Thanks for all the content and advice!
I don’t use a CRM or Dumpster Rental software. I personally think it’s useless until someone has several hundred dumpsters. I keep it simple and I’ve found that’s the way to be the most efficient
@@samedaydumpsterso your Stripe online payment platform on your Hypertek website just sends an email with the customer info for you to schedule? No Docket, DRS, etc?
@@anonymousguy4860 I'm working with Hypertek currently to get my site built. I have a follow-up meeting with them tomorrow. I can attest, they have this figured out and down to a science. They absolutely know what they are doing. No hesitation or reservation. I am very impressed with them.
Like you said. Too many tire kickers calling and wasting your time if you don’t post prices on website. I don’t have online booking though. I want to talk about their project and make sure they are getting the right dumpster and meet their time requirements.
There's a million ways to be successful in this game, I just prefer to have all my prices, add-ons, upsells and anything else that the customer wants to know forward facing and completely transparent on my website. You are correct tho, customers still call, and we gladly take their call, answer their questions, but then steer them back to the website to complete their reservation.
Sorry man I couldn’t disagree with you more. I normally agree with everything you’re saying, but on the topic of you don’t wanna take a phone call from somebody looking for pricing I want that phone call. I want the opportunity to sell that dumpster. I have a website. All my prices are posted. Some people just are not going to go to a website I want people to find me I don’t care if that’s on a phone call or website billboard
Charles, not everyone agrees with everything I say or do, and that's perfectly fine as there's a lot of great ideas from guys like you. But here's the thing, you still have all your prices on your website, which in my opinion is the most important part of the equation. You're right tho... not everyone wants to book online, it's just how I run my show. Thanks for checking in and taking the time to share with everyone how you do it.
I agree. I get more business from phone calls than my website. Some people don’t know what dumpster they need and they wanna talk about it first. No matter how good the website is.
This would be a great debate. We personally like taking phone calls, but all about screening them in the first 10 seconds: "where are you located? What are you working on?" You'll get a good idea of who is serious and who's not because John's right, there are daytime vampires out there. After that it becomes a case by case basis, could be a boomer that doesn't use the internets or a commercial account that has a special request. Or if you do junk removal too, you could up sell that. Several ways to run this business, do what works for you brothers.
21:40 a wish of mine will be to be able to hire Casey.
The intro got you a follow. Keep it up!
I'll let Casey know. He came up with that and it def hits at the start of all the videos for sure. Thanks for the feedback.
I’m so glad Cody won. His entry was hysterical. I had to show it to my wife and she loved it.
Cody is def a creative kid for sure! I watched it a couple times and got a good laugh too.
Geez i think Cody stole my dream shop. Great video you guys never disappoint 👍

Yes sir! A little behind the scenes look with Casey on how he puts together all my videos. Thanks for the continued support my man. 🙏🏾
I have been waiting for a new video and it is finally here!
Yes sir. New video right here brother. Very much appreciate all the support and trust. 💯🙏🏾
Liking the channel man I've been looking into this industry for a while now in Utah and plan and firing up my own operation would love to chop it up

I chuckled a bit after hearing the remarks about stealing content, colors, etc., and then seeing ole boy's Milwaukee tools theme on his cans 😂
