How about the asphalt paving crew? It's a way to bring incredible value to our business's and a chance to capture more market share that's already out there. Correct. We even charge Walmart, Costco and The State of Utah the same rate. Not sure why anyone would charge contractors less? Then have to wait 30, 45, 60 or even 90 days for your money. We charge everyone the same, and give everyone the same exception service. It works pretty well actually.

    • @samedaydumpster
      @samedaydumpster  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's tough for me to try and answer as there's a lot of factors at play. I actually don't like older trucks and prefer to keep my trucks as new as possible to reduce any potential down time. The biggest factor would be how long of rentals are you planning on offering? That's the very first thing in trying to determine how many dumpsters you need.

    People respect, niche specific companies. By being only small dumpsters we are showing our customers our niche. I found that you get higher quality customers that way. If I ever do 30s and 40s, I would brand it completely separate as its own business.

    I don’t know why anyone would want to get into the big trucks. The cost is so much greater maintenance everything. Once you’ve been doing doing it for 5 years and you know the game more, than you can decide whether it’s worth playing with the big bins. Just my thoughts 🤔

      I personally can't answer that question either. I run under cdl trucks and that's how I run my show. I don't know why everyone thinks they need 30's and 40's. There is a company here in town that has been in business for over 12 years. They have two big trucks and run strictly 20's. They have hundreds of cans. It's obviously working for them.
    The grass is not always greener on the other side. Got to work with what you have. I have 27 cubic yard cans and run two on many jobs = 54 cubic yards at price point that is very competitive vs one 40. I just can't do heavy demo and have to turn away those type of jobs, as I can only haul about 5 tons legally.
    Made that same mistake early on referring big cans out and like you said no referral back.
    Just looked at your pricing. $800 for two 22's seems like you are cutting yourself short a bit, depending what your dump fees are. Especially since you are offering 44 cubic yards.
    Man I am afraid if I get too big the big guys won't let me use their dumps, even though I bring them 10's of thousands in revenue. I tried to set up account at one and found out the manager viewed me as their competition. This is an international waste management company. I am just a minnow vs. them, but apparently I am making waves.

I have a newer episode coming out next week where I discuss the changes I make to my pricing as we turn into fall and winter, that's where I'll go into more details for everyone. Thanks for stopping by the channel and sharing some thoughts.

      @@samedaydumpsterSince we had a disagreement on the other video, I want to give you credit for this one.
      I was already basically running multiple 20s on job sites, but never advertised it.
      Since your video, I added a 40yard plus option to my website.
      1 week later I landed 12 dumpsters on location for two apartment complexes that caught on fire.
