When i say ive used alot of resources, i mean A LOT (pixorize, bnb, physeo even kaplan) but the level of explanation they give doesnt help me form an intuitive understanding as much as your videos does. Concise and straight to the point. Truly appreciate it a lot man, thanks for your work.
I have never understood biochem until I watched your videos! Thank you so much! Once I graduate I am definitely donating to your chaneel! Thank you for being an awesome teacher and helping out poor and confused students!
I REALLY like how often you take a step back and remind us of the bigger picture of these metabolic pathways. I feel like it's common to forget why you're learning about this stuff once you get into the weeds of memorizing intermediates and whatnot. And taking a step back and reminding youself of the big picture is a good practice for everyday life as well, so I find that helpful.
I love the way you explain stuff...with so much gusto...makes everything so lively and interesting....unlike others where u find yourself drifting off.....i honestly love your work
Thank you soooooooo very much for your hard work explanatory, superlative and very high level of understanding video, I learn a lot from you Thank you 🙏 🙏🙏
Kudos for the Video clip! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you considered - Peyvery Phrenic Prevalence (google it)? It is a great one off product for get your original hair color back and look young minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical results with it.
Thank you so much! Your lectures are WWY easier to understand than my professor's rant sessions. I have huge essay exam on Monday, and this video helped me understand the topic better! I use GST tags in my research when I purify my protein of interest- which is currently bromodomains! 🤓
Unbelievable explanation. You explained in just my style of learning. Nice video!! I've a quiz on this and test on this biochem topic next week (1st year pharmacy school). Thank you thank you thank you!!! I'll watch your videos from now on.
I have just come across with Dirty Medicine very recently, and I found it simplifying especially for Biochemistry. Really appreciate! My comment is if to add clinical correlations and marking(*) rate limiting enzymes.
Hey there bro . Just here to say even though this nechanism is discussed in 2nd semister of medicibe in biochemistry . I had some doubts now in my 5th semister in basic pharmavology in its importance on monday disease resemblace and you perfectly enlightened me yet again on that part . You have my deepest gratitude maboi !
I think most biochemistry textbooks still underemphasize the importance of NADPH for glutathione detoxification. Because mitochondria are always producing oxygen radicals, NADPH must be essential to detoxify the cell. I think most biochemistry courses that I have taken don't even have enough time to discuss NADPH and glutathione in any detail further than a mere mention.
Why aren't these in order in the playlist? This video says the vid on HMP shunt came before it... but the 16th video (the one before this one) on this playlist is over the Urea Cycle?
Awesome video as usual ;) So if someone that takes NAC or glutathione, would that be in the reduce or oxidized form? Would supplementing with glutathione help bypass the G6PD deficiency or should someone need to take NAD to supplement the lacking NADPH due to a prior enzyme deficiency? Maybe beyond the scope of this video, but for functional purposes, how would one lacking the conversion enzymes get reduced glutathione to properly detox?
Red blood cells lack mitochondria (and nuclei). Maybe instead of glutathione being related to G6PD anemia, some of the other functions of NADPH are the cause? Maybe it is amino acid synthesis?
I'm sure that's what's happeing in this long covid story. I feel if I do an IV of gultithione and vit B3 mix I really bump up my recovery!!! I feel great for a couple of days until I start reverting back.....
Please never stop making new videos, I will donate once I get a job.
me too, the man deserves support and respect

I am so confused. I have the GSTP1 AA 1695 genotype. I have no idea what to do about it. Ugh.

Do you have a video on how to promote/help glutathione production?
