    Just watched another video BASHING all AirandB's charging any cleaning fee. That was ridiculous. I like your approach!

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, its really crazy. The problem is guests dont want to see a separate price for cleaning, and host interpret that irrationally. Please sent me the link to that video please.

    When I started working on Turno, I did my math poorly haha. But after following some of the steps you're highlighting, it turned out to be a very lucrative business! I love cleaning Airbnbs, but you gotta do your math right, that's for sure!

    Great information! I am so happy I came across your channel today. I struggle so much with pricing. Would love to learn more about how you price with linens. I think you touched on that a little bit. I will search for more of your videos on that. Thanks so much for sharing!

    Can you get into how the price is affected by laundry services? Is it per load or how do you do the math when you are doing 4-5 loads per unit for 3 units

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Long story short, you have to charge more for the laundry if you know you cant get it done in the time of the clean. You can always schedule a call with me or get the course coming out May 1st for all the math.

  • @aajayi1

    Sometimes check out is at 11. If we’re asked to clean between 11-4 but have let’s say 4 unit cleans that are two or 3 bedroom in size, what’s the best way to handle that in your experience

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The most I did in a day was 50 units in a day and half (25) were same day cleans that needed to be done before 11-3. You always have to have a watchful eye on your future cleans. The beginning of that week, plus the time of the year, I saw it coming a week in advance. Have all hands on deck, be ready to go and help and make sure you have a tight operation plan. There are a lot of factors, in days before, we also did not accept bookings we could not cover. Know your capacity.

    Hi Mila, let me start off by saying your videos are 🔥🔥🔥
    In you paying your staff 60% of the revenue, do you still facilitate them with cleaning supplies and equipment? If not, how much would that change the 60/40 split?

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you Brent. I hire 1099, which means they must be prepared and responsible for their own supplies, and they still do very well financially. I have suggestions for them to save money on that front.

      @milatheehostkeyper868 I'm glad you explained exactly what 1099 means. I live in the Bahamas, where 1099 doesn't exist. So I really appreciate that. But your videos are truly awesome, and I do plan on checking your course out

    I have a question if you have 2 employees is the job still 11 hours or should the job be done in 5.5 hours because is 2 employees?

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question; the job is 11 man hours, it just means how many hours it takes to accomplish the job. With 2 employees, yes, it will take half the time, but you still have to pay each employee 5.5 hours each, which still costs 11 man hours. So yes, you are charging your client for 11 hours no matter how many people are cleaning it. I hope that answered your question.

    If is me and my daughter cleaning as a team and we clean a one bed that takes 1.5 to 2 house how can I price that

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  ปีที่แล้ว

      The question is not easy to explain in the comments because it depends, what state, how much are the cleaners getting paid, how much you need to cover your operations. I go into detail in the course so that you can come up with a price that is profitable for you. tr.ee/45G_UTgyyx

    Hi so between 75 and 90 for one bedroom but how about laundry?

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can include laundry in your service price or you can separate it. Its up to how you decide to run your operation.

    • @main2333
      @main2333 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s $80- 90 for studio and $150 for one bedroom with laundry in hawaii. Laundry and supplies cost more. Also the time to get stains out!

    This video also illustrates why cleaners should just work for themselves and keep the profits.

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lets expand on that... It is very possible for a cleaner to get their own leads, however, working for a company like Hostkeyper, our teammates are not looking to start their own business, they are looking for work and we find the work to keep everyone happy and busy.

    • @weirdarto
      @weirdarto หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@milatheehostkeyper I don't completely disagree but if you're paying them $20 per hour and don't provide any cleaning supplies, it's really more like $18 per hour, and the customer is expecting perfection when they're paying $35 per hour. In addition, they may be driving to multiple locations and not even be getting paid for the time they're driving. It's not great, so many employees in this type of set up will be constantly looking for better pay, resulting in a lot of turnover and low morale. But I don't fault you, a lot of large corporations love this business model. I just strongly believe it's better to love and have a passion for cleaning, go out there and do it, and keep your money, rather than giving half of it to a middleman.

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@weirdarto It would be great if everyone could run their own business and be an entrepreneur but the reality is most people wont. On top of it, running a business is not easy or everyone would be successful doing it. It takes a lot of learning, reading and mentorship to have a successful business and most people are not willing to put in all that work, so the only option is to resort to a job. If you dont control your life someone else will and thats on the individual. On another note I dont deal with high turnover and low morale, Ive done the research to prevent that in my business. I also dont make them drive all over, and our team loves working for us so dont assume all business owners are unfair middle men. At Hostkeyper we ALL feel blessed to have a work.

    I am confused here. she stated it would take two cleaners to complete this job since it would take one cleaner eleven hours. she stated the total she made was around 350$. how is that, if she needed two cleaners. It should be double that since each cleaner has to do about five plus hours. can you please explain Mila?

    • @milatheehostkeyper
      @milatheehostkeyper  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It's 11 man hours, the price doesnt change because there are more people on the job, each cleaners would get a cut of the 11 hours as you stated it would be 5 plus hours per man.

    If it takes max 2hrs for a 1/1bth why would it take 11 hours for a 7 room house? It doesn't take 2 hours per room but instead the ENTIRE house. I'm just stumped by this. Please follow up because I'm certain I'm just overthinking or misunderstanding. Thank you

      Hi Stephanie, thanks for the question, and who knows, maybe someone else may have the same question... How long do you think it should take and why? Maybe if I understand what you are thinking, I can help you with understanding why it takes 11 hours. Do you think its too short or too long of a time?

      A 1 bd 1 bath is approx 500-800 sq ft. A 7 bd home is most likely over 4k! Several bathrooms and large kitchen/ living areas.
