Thank you so much! My heart is full knowing you took the time to send this beautiful message! Gracias! 😘
I luv how you broke it down between passive and aggressive
My pleasure!
Great information witch I will be cleaning my first Airbnb Sunday I own a cleaning business that I do residential and commercial but never done Airbnb before and the funny part is it's 800 square feet. Sweet thanks 😊
This video also illustrates why cleaners should just work for themselves and keep the profits.
Lets expand on that... It is very possible for a cleaner to get their own leads, however, working for a company like Hostkeyper, our teammates are not looking to start their own business, they are looking for work and we find the work to keep everyone happy and busy.
@@milatheehostkeyper I don't completely disagree but if you're paying them $20 per hour and don't provide any cleaning supplies, it's really more like $18 per hour, and the customer is expecting perfection when they're paying $35 per hour. In addition, they may be driving to multiple locations and not even be getting paid for the time they're driving. It's not great, so many employees in this type of set up will be constantly looking for better pay, resulting in a lot of turnover and low morale. But I don't fault you, a lot of large corporations love this business model. I just strongly believe it's better to love and have a passion for cleaning, go out there and do it, and keep your money, rather than giving half of it to a middleman.
@@weirdarto It would be great if everyone could run their own business and be an entrepreneur but the reality is most people wont. On top of it, running a business is not easy or everyone would be successful doing it. It takes a lot of learning, reading and mentorship to have a successful business and most people are not willing to put in all that work, so the only option is to resort to a job. If you dont control your life someone else will and thats on the individual. On another note I dont deal with high turnover and low morale, Ive done the research to prevent that in my business. I also dont make them drive all over, and our team loves working for us so dont assume all business owners are unfair middle men. At Hostkeyper we ALL feel blessed to have a work.

Thank you
Just watched another video BASHING all AirandB's charging any cleaning fee. That was ridiculous. I like your approach!
Yeah, its really crazy. The problem is guests dont want to see a separate price for cleaning, and host interpret that irrationally. Please sent me the link to that video please.
Very good!
If it takes max 2hrs for a 1/1bth why would it take 11 hours for a 7 room house? It doesn't take 2 hours per room but instead the ENTIRE house. I'm just stumped by this. Please follow up because I'm certain I'm just overthinking or misunderstanding. Thank you
Hi Stephanie, thanks for the question, and who knows, maybe someone else may have the same question... How long do you think it should take and why? Maybe if I understand what you are thinking, I can help you with understanding why it takes 11 hours. Do you think its too short or too long of a time?
A 1 bd 1 bath is approx 500-800 sq ft. A 7 bd home is most likely over 4k! Several bathrooms and large kitchen/ living areas.
How do you price up an Airbnb price list for a host? 6 bedroom property. I need help asap please. Can you help? I need to see an example of how it's written down.
Thanks for asking, have you seen my how to price video? th-cam.com/video/bpmoHZirQKw/w-d-xo.html
What did you pay your first cleaning person?
Oh my, at the time we paid and estimated $15 per hour and I say estimated because they were getting paid per unit. Being that TX min wage is $7.25 then and now (smh) back in 2017 maybe the going rate was $10-$12 per hour for a cleaner so we were paying slightly more.
Those cricket sound effects when you mentioned CL 😅😅😅

I love your videos Mila! Keep it up.
Awe!! Thank you Omar! I needed that boost of encouragement!! Will do!
What a great video and what a great hardworking woman Jay is! Jay is going to do great, I can tell by her work ethic and enthusiasm to learn. ❤❤❤ You got this Jay!!! Believe!!!!
Thank you for the comment, I think she is amazing!!!
Go into another line of work.
YES!!! I went through this with a client who intentionally made sure that ALL 7k sq ft was destroyed to validate the amount that he was paying me. Thankfully, we parted ways early on.
Good for you! It usually only gets worse from there.
This is invaluable secret tips. Invitation for orientation 😂
😅
🔥🔥🔥
That’s smart!
Smart. You absolutely right. ✌👌💪
Turno for Cleaners... Believe me, this is the real deal, I found out about it no long ago, and I'm amazed by it!
Vacation rentals make you clean, do laundry, dishes, trash, and still charge a cleaning fee! Make it make sense
Depends! Sometimes they will lower the cleaning fee if guests do all that, because there's still a lot to be done other than those things. That just helps....however of they're charging a lot and still have you do all that, then idk lol
In our experience we have never had a host ask their guest to do all of this work, and we also dont recommend our host suggest this if they ask. I have also stayed at many airbnbs and never been expected to any of this stuff but I do it anyway because I enjoy living in clean spaces so when I leave its not a big mess.
AND hotels have commercial grade washers and dryers with thousands of sets of linens...vacation rentals do not. So, typically, the units are done being cleaned before the linens are ready, then you have to wait a while and waste time there just waiting for linens to dry.
'PromoSM' 😋
what platform do you use for communication?
Depends who we are communicating with... for single home hosts to the company, they can call us or text us and we use Dialpad (currently), For hosts that have more units we do open a slack channel for them. We communicate with our cleaners on Connect Team (link on my channel bio).
Didn't know this!
Thank you🎉
So valuable!

Woohoo 🔥
