- A double date is a short animation that tells the story of a doomer who, dragged by his friend, goes to a meeting with the unknown.

Man I just witnessed this in person. Rather than trying to chase after a girl the other night I went out, I decided to just talk to whoever wanted to converse with me. Didn’t care and actually started chatting to someone who was interested in me (not saying the other girl wasn’t). Felt refreshing when that girl then decided to come up to me afterwards and I decided to go home and she seemed disappointed. Feels good being my own person for a change and just doing me. @@johnclaffey7478 these lessons are often learnt the hard way, but doing some retrospection I found out that every successful romantic/sexual experience I had in the past started with a carefree attitude, just having fun and letting their interest rise without trying to force it. For the last 14 years 90% of my friends have been girls, so I embrace this "passive" (as opposed to "chasing") mindset quite naturally. It works so I stick to it

If the dialog spells out the theme, feelings and underline message (which in this case it doesnt) then it'll be considered telling. If not and you can still understand what the message is then it'll be considered showing.

Criminally underpaid, however, unless you’re the captain on a long haul international route flying a wide body jet. Imagine having a hundred lives in your hands on a salary lower than a unionized janitor
Cool and yet it's a job. Sometimes it can be very stressful to work for months away from your home, each day flying for over 3 to 5 flights and it's even more harsh when you don't have a strong backup at your home to relax. You would be surprised how many things you would need to sacrifice & activities to limit in order to achieve this dream.

I've watched every video now and I must say for every video I've watched I also feel different emotions. I'm so glad that I discovered this channel.
This writing is genius. The doomer works on himself, reading, exercising and going out of his way to change. Through opportunity he gets a girls number, but through typical doomer luck a nuclear warhead goes off at the end. Recently went on a double date and the outcome was similar. I matched with a girl on tinder and she wanted to bring her friend on our date which I thought was abnormal. 3 person date lol. I watched this a month after it came out. Something about how these stories are made make it sound realistic in a sense, this can possibly be a real friend group, although they may be a bit exaggerated with their character traits, but you get what I mean. I love the doomer, the doomer is always a good and easy character to portray but I'm glad it was done in this sense, he works out, tries to improve himself rather than wallow in his pain. His awkward demeanor is far too relatable for many of us as we all know, but is somehow charming in his own right, even if eva (goth girl) may have already found the doomer attractive and relatable as well, a personal dream of mine. I love the storytelling that's done here too, the gradual progression to the friend being rejected by not one but both girls, and the doomer getting his own, even if it weren't his intentions to begin with, slowly the doomers yearning to start winning at life is beginning towards fruition, even if he still shows signs of his characters qualities, typical of any character regardless of the situation but it isn't unwelcomed.
I truly believe this is a masterpiece of a story and wojak video portrayal of the doomer. My personal favorite video from milleniathinker and one of the reasons why i check up on this channel so much. It has me digging through each new and old video just from some random recommendation from the algorithm guiding me to this video. Thank you for reading. Of course it wouldn't be a mini essay if it weren't for the disclaimer that this is just my opinion, nothing I say here is of much importance but I do like sharing my takes on videos I find interesting anyway.
