- This is our first time in cape town. After waiting four year due to the pandemic we finally set foot in South Africa, Cape town for our long awaited honeymoon (Very Delayed) trip. Come join us as we explore our first time in Cape town and go on a scenic helicopter flight as well as doing a traditional South African food tour in Cape town.

It was a shower of something alright. Will try our hardest to not fly with them again to be honest. It was the lack of communication which made us angry!

Aww thank you we didn’t know whether to cry or not we were so shocked and they handled it so badly too no comms from BA we’ve added them to our no fly list now ❌. We still had the most magical and best holiday ever so we didn’t let it ruin it. Also BA did pay out full compensation to us aswell 👌🏼 💙. Thank you so much for watching 💙💙💙
It's currently Spring in South Africa.(September is Spring)
We went to South Africa in July which is their winter period

We loved Cape Town and will definitely return 🥰 honestly it was a shower of crap. We get these things happen but the communication was shocking just wished they would have handled it better but it made it very memorable I guess 😆

Ahhh it was honestly so shocking how they handled it. We understand these things happen but the communication was just awful which was why we were so angry. Ohhh yes we definitely did enjoy the money lol can’t actually believe they paid out to honest but so annoying we lost a whole day in Cape Town but just means we have to go back and do the things we didn’t get round to doing 🤩
We have learnt our lesson always pack a pair of clean pants in our hand luggage just in case 😆 atleast we had clean teeth and faces though 🤣 can’t say we would rush to fly with them again to say the least 🤣
The food tour was soooo good, it’s such a good way to try things that you would never usually try and definitely going to try and do a food tour where ever we go now! The doughnuts were amazing still dreaming about them now 🤤😆

We had the best time and it was worth the wait 😬. No all this was booked with our agents as part of a package holiday and they sorted out arranging transfers and notified the hotel and everything making it all so less stressful really grateful for them 👌🏼. Hotels in good location and V&A is safe too for night time wondering about. Thank you so much for watching Chris 💙

I think going abroad on holiday now is getting more stressful. You never know until your up in the air that you actually going.
We never made it to the Maldives last year. Qatar moved our flight by 15mins the day before, next day they so called cancelled the flight. Tui said if we paid an extra £3000 we could still go! This was because even though we booked through Tui they were getting out of it as Qatar wasn't their light.
I can't believe they swapped you from Heathrow to Gatwick for the night.
James can i ask how tall you are? As we were looking at BA next year. Grandson is 6ft 2, so was wondering if the extra leg room is a waste of time.

I’m gutted 😞 you couldn’t go Maldives it’s sooo mega expensive now we’ve looked a few times too. Heard a lot with TUI and Qatar messing flights around their awful for doing it.
Aww BA was an absolute S*it show, they paid up a few weeks ago and gave us £1,044 in compensation which was a result we thought we were going to have to argue black and blue with them to be honest.
So the aircraft we were in the B777 the leg room was nice but not width wise if you don’t mind being in a narrow seat. I’m 6ft and Broad shouldered if you don’t mind being like a T-Rex with your cutlery trying to eat then you’ll be fine but I hated it worst 12 hour flight poor ellie had a big 6ft 5 guy next to her to so she was sandwiched the whole flight lol.
They charged us £124 each for the extra legroom for both flights nearly £500! 😱 the cost of what it cost us to go Malta each and with some spending money. Just hate how greedy airlines have gotten recently 😤. Hope your doing okay though and thank you so much for watching and supporting as always 💙💙💙💙

That's absolutely disgusting on top of a flight for extra leg room. It's not as if it's much, either. Wont be long, and we will be stood up flying!
Just looked at flights for us it's over £9000! Economy to Dominic Republic.! Would have been able to fly business for that not long ago.( not that we ever have)
Makes me angrey the price of oil, has gone down , yet we still pay through the nose for transport.

One thing, though, please don't ride the elephants. They have their babies taken and are beaten until they accept it.
Top of my list was to bathe an elephant until I found out a lot go down the same route😥

Ohh god we don’t take part or do anything that involves animal cruelty elephant hills is a high top rated attractions and doesn’t allow bathing or riding of elephants and it’s ethical if not we certainly wouldn’t do it. 7 years of research to go Thailand for us off umming and arghing over that period.
Hmm I’m not sure if it is families do go Thailand but it’s not really an all inclusive place I know how fussy kids can be I was a nightmare of just chips all the time when I was little lol.
Ohhhh no 😰 you can tell us how awful the Ibiza ones are we don’t even watch them back it’s that bad 🫣 🙃 hehe.

We call them Shitish Airways. Nothing but bad experiences with them and the last one was the final straw. Got completely abandoned and left to fend for ourselves with disgusting attitude from the staff and then had to go down legal route to get compensation we had every right to that they refused to pay. We have said we'd rather walk than fly them again. They only seem to care about you if you're flying First.
Haha we’re not the only ones that call them that then 😆 that’s terrible to just abandon you and agreed with the attitude of the BA staff we also experienced this. We’re used to flying with Emirates and the staff are so much nicer think we will stick to flying with them in future where possible. Did you end up getting the compensation you were owed?

@@JamesandElliesAdventures yes but we had to go through something called CEDR who basically forced BA to pay out as they just ignored us. We got dumped at an airport at the other end of the country after a 6 hour delay during the train strikes with no transport sorted and when we asked how we were meant to get home they literally said 'not our problem' and locked themselves in a room so as not to have to deal with anyone!
