Made the mistake of doing the elephant ride on my first visit to Thailand, wish I’d never done it. At the time I was none the wiser but I’d advise against anyone doing it now. Seems the experience you guys had in elephant hills was far more civilised. Great to follow your Thailand adventures and can’t wait for your next trip.
Hey thanks for watching along greatly appreciated 💙 it’s hard to tell as a while ago it wasn’t a known thing only becoming more common knowledge now about animal ethnic places if that makes any sense lol. Thanks we’re off on a Norwegian Fjords cruise on the 4th May so we’ll have new videos sometime in June up 😎 thanks for watching 💙💙💙
Thanks so much guys for all these tips. The e sim is a great tip 👍 I love Elephants and that was the main reason I wanted to go to Thailand and yes I agree. I did my research a while back and choose Elephant Hills. I can't stand animal cruelty of any kind and we'll said 👏 it's up to us as Individuals not to contribute to this behaviour. We will be on our way this day in 2 weeks and I just can't wait. I have enjoyed watching all your videos so Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aww thankyou 💙 yes check out Maya mobile into Google it’s great for your data especially if using it to call Bolt taxis etc if your in Phuket. Ohh you’ll absolutely love Thailand and especially Elephant hills hope our elephant hills videos have helped and you know what to expect for your trip now 🙂. Thanks so much for following along that’s means a lot to us 🙏🏼 💙💙💙 have a lovely time in 🇹🇭
Please be aware that elephant hills is NOT a true ethical sanctuary. There is only one in Phuket and that is PES. Elephant hills have admitted this. There is a lot of interaction and tourists. It’s a kinder place to visit elephants, but it is not ethical.
@emmabroadhurst9137 hi Emma please tell us where you found this information? Khao Sok NP website and elephant hills states it’s ethical and we’ve done a tonne of research and found none in Phuket that meet international standards of ethical animal practises. Their website states this: 1 How does Elephant Hills support ethical elephant experiences? Elephant Hills embraces a holistic approach that prioritizes the well-being of elephants. The experiences curated allow guests to walk alongside the creatures, observe them in their natural settings, and ensure that every interaction is in line with global ethical standards.
@JamesandElliesAdventures It was feom watching TH-cam and reading stuff on Google. Also I asked in Trailfinders when we were booking this holiday if they would let me know and they put my mind at rest. I have heard some horrible stories and I didn't want to be part of any of it.
Great tips, and great vlogs too. Thank you for another great series, it was lovely to travel along with you and see what you got up to, what you ate where you stayed etc, I can't imagine the time and effort the filming and editing must take but it is appreciated. Looking forward to your next trip x
