This honda hrv is the one ive been waiting for. I like the exterior design and big space interior.
Yeah dude worth it especially the Honda SENSING being available. It’s more advanced than the one in CRV, and Civic level na yung safety.

if rich kid ka & you can buy new car in 2 or 3 yrs time... Ford Territory ka, if middle class, pinaghirapan pera and matagal makakabili uli... Honda HRV no contest... also planning to give the HRV to my wife.. I am just contemplating on whether to save more for either the turbo version or the CRV gas variant or Mazda CX5 base (made in Japan)

Bebenta siguro yung CVT S at 1.25 million, malapit sa presyo ng Coolray at Territory. Pero lacking sa features compared to both. At mas malakas ng konti yung Coolray sa high end variant. Dami rin kasing alternatives from MG and Changan kaya mahihirapan sa benta ang HR-V like the previous generation.
Mahirap o mapagkatiwalaan, value for money yan!
Di po kalevel nila mid Size Crossover na yan category ng HRV, tingnan mo po width and length saka tire!
At lakas ng cargo capacity.. Kong tunay na value for money!!
@@boyvisaya772 Same category sila as crossover SUVs regardless of the size. At meron din video ng head on collision crash test yung Coolray at previous gen HRV dito sa youtube. Pareho silang tinest ng banggaan dahil same category sila. And the point is mas high tech at mas malakas ang power ng competition at the same price range kaya better value for the money.

I think Honda just blew it. They should have brought the hybrid HRV variant here in the Philippines. Toyota has the Corolla Cross. Now, it looks like Nissan is bringing the Kicks. Other manufacturers (I believe Mazada and Suzuki) will be introducing hybrid models as well.
Kung similar engine lang ng sa honda city ibigsabihin fuel efficient din siya katulad ng honda city. Yung ang advantage ng engine ng city eh hindi nga lang mabilis pero matipid
It seems that the entry level version is a City on Stilts. Same engine but higher ground clearance. It all boils down to one's preference.
At a little below 1.6 million, the Turbo spec is almost touching the PPV SUV pricing category. The Honda Sensing and turbocharged engine are much appreciated, but I feel it also deserves Power Tail gate, Wireless Charging and Power adjustable seats to justify the price. Had it been the BRV, these missed features were understandable.

I’m digging the S variant. Just enough features for my needs, a non turbo (hopefully fuel efficient) engine which is what I prefer, rear AC vents (huge deal for me) and no sunroof! Only thing I want that is missing are power folding side mirrors. Really tempted to get one!

@@KacciVAL I like Geely cars actually but basing on the comments I've read in groups, there's still a shortage of parts in the country. That's the only thing stopping me from considering them right now. Plus, I don't like turbo engines.

Nice review mga idol, comment ko lang sa bagong hr-v is yung design nya sa likod. Sobrang exaggerated yung slope ng C pillar sayang yung potential vertical cargo space.

@AJ RV pwede din, but I doubt para sa aero yun. SUV's or crossover ang priority nila usually is space and practicality hindi aerodynamics.

@@streamingvideo6654 mostly are wanting to buy v turbo titanium white and as far as i know it’ll be 3 months waiting but all dealers are prioritizing those buyers whose loan docs and approval are good to go. I was waiting for it too tbh but upon learning it’s mostly the same minus the engine, I opted to get the s variant and boom got a unit for release this weekend.
Also who needs a turbo engine when its so traffic here and for sure most will use their suvs for out of town trips.
I dont mind territory cos its takaw sa gas given gas prices are terribly high
Also keeping an eye on getting the S variant! Do you have any idea if this variant (or maybe the V variant) has front and rear sensors? I tried looking at the website and watching the HRV release video but cannot find that info, unfortunately 🥲
I'm Indonesian and wondering how much the Top V turbos are selling for in the Philippines? I always thought we in Indonesia always got the short end of the stick when it comes to Honda, but here it appears that Honda isn't even bringing the top RS varian there. In Indo the RS Variant has an electric tailgate and moonroof but, compared to the European spec it's still way lackluster (missing a lot of techs). In Indo the top RS Variant is selling for around IDR 500 million (1,81 Million PHP if google is correct) and the non Turbo ranged from 356-400+ Million.

Sorry, at a price point of P1.25million and up, ang sagwa ng mag wheels. Wish we could have been given the Euro spec split 5 spoke mags.

Hindi naman siguro masama magbigay ng opinyon tungkol sa kahinaan ng disenyo ng mga wheels lalo na kung napakataas ng singil sa kotse. Mas mahal pa nga ang presyo sa atin kumpara sa ibang bansa.

May 18 inch wheels, tapos two tone option and then sunroof yung top of the line. Hopefully kaya conservative ang release ay probably honda is testing the market first before offering the RS Variant. S variant with a 1.5L engine, 119hp and 145 nm of torque... Those are honda jazz engine figures, but in a much bigger and heavier HRV body. Why Honda? 😥 Coolray is a better option given the price and power figures.

Premium feel un Ford territory. Kahit un geeley coolray wala sinabi sa overall features and specs. In terms of durability, maintenance cost, at sa fuel consumption, doon lamang ang 2015 honda hrv. Not sure lang sa new model ng hrv.

Times has changed. Money crunch. Variables are not anymore sufficient. One variant na lang .
at 1.25M.. easy pass to. this car is made for people with smaller build. im not even talking about width.. yung height.. anyone over 5'8 will have a hard time getting in on the driver's seat.
