I just got the EX L and it's a nice ride has alot of nice features. It doesn't have alot of balls like the BMW X1 I had but it's half the price.

I just got the 2022 EX L also last week and do far I like it alot mine is white, what color did you choose and how do you like it?

I love mine, I chose silver because I didn’t want to stress about having to wash the exterior every week if I chose a darker or lighter color. I don’t care about power and speed or anything like that, just as long as it’s reliable, comfortable and fast ‘enough’. It’s also big and spacious. One other benefit I also found out about is that it doesn’t have a built in auto start/stop function which all the other higher end Honda cars have, as it increases wear and tear on the engine which sucks, so I’m glad I didn’t choose the civic or accord lol.

Man, you talk fast! I really appreciate your instructions, I have been driving a CRV for the past 18 years and to switch to everything electronic and a ton of safety features, I was so confused. I understand things a lot more, but still need a little bit of help with the steering and lane assist features. It's so confusing. I'm older and not as savvy with electronics, but I'm trying. @@toddcrumbaker1207 Congrats on the new car! We’ve not had any issue since we picked it up, and I have had such a pleasant experience with it this far that (barring something truly unforeseeable happening) I plan on sticking with my HR-V for a good long while!
As a family car, it’s super safe and spacious. As a commuter car, it has all the accessories & comforts I’d want (and more) for the price point. As a Road-trippers car, it has great gas mileage, drink storage options, and safety technology.

Just bought the 2022 Honda hrv base model even though it’s the lx model I love this car so much I’ve gotten so many compliments on it already having it for a couple of days

Wow Justin, I have a certified pre-owned 2018 HR-V and I learned more about my car than I knew from your video! I do wish I had all the safety features you had pointed out but still very happy about my earlier model car. Also my year had the CVT failure problem but Honda replaced my transmission under the extended warranty they honored for 2016-2020 model years. Other than that it’s been great! I now have over 100K miles due to my mileage to and from my job. Keep up the great videos! You made me a subscriber from watching this video on the HR-V!

Very good review and I can really get to know my 2020 HRV Sport AWD, it looks and have all the features exactly like this one but with more shiny features on the tire line areas, sporty pedals and the middle area where the shift gear is. I TOTALLY LOVE MY HONDA.

I just bought the Honda EX L and so far I like it alot, I live in New England states and it's a good snow car.
I’m in MN and want something good for winter driving, although I can generally avoid driving much on the worst days. I want to be safe. I’m guessing this is a lot safer in winter than the civic?
u sold me on getting this car though although i do wish the honda civic had AWD bc i like it a bit more but i live in a snowy area so it seems better to get the HRV. i loved this in depth review

Would have liked to know & seen more about all the storage places--are there any on the doors? How big is that middle console one behind the drink holders? But very informative & really liked the comparison guides. I wasn't thinking of getting this model, but am stuck after a month of trying to get a car, and today an HRV came available, so your video helped alot to make me think about this model

Dude you missed the HRV's party trick with the flip up rear seat bottom, its a great feature for taller items or if you want to put the dogs in the back without having them on the seat .

Yup! I've got the Magic Seats on my Honda Fit and the HR-V is my next car because I love that feature!

Is there an advantage to using the Eco mode all the time? I never really understood when to use it.

If you were to leave it on all the time you would have the opportunity to get better gas mileage. But if you want more get up and go I would suggest turning it off.
It's for highway driving on long trips to save gas but it takes power away from your speed and motor somewhat.

Hey bud. I just wanted to ask your honest opinion, which is better in terms of overall drive experience. Honda civic ex or hrv ex? Just disregard the cargo space. Thank you.
Between the two I would go with the Honda Civic if you're going to be using this to commute long distances. Little bit smoother ride, little bit quieter in the cabin, and a little bit more power.
Has anyone on here had any paint issues with their HR-V? I’ve heard Honda has had some paint issues before on on the HRV. I have one in order in platinum white and now wondering if I made a mistake? This is a big purchase for me. Any feedback is appreciated!
My wife has a 2016 model year and no paint issues, but we also live in the northeastern US so we don't get extreme heat. The issues we had with our car is lane watch camera shorted out and the rear reverse light seal went bad. Other then that it's been super reliable 135k and still going.
Regarding to the noise of the motor, how loud it is compared to a 1989 Chevrolet caprice?
I test drove one today and compared to my 2010 Mazda 3 with a manual transmission, you can barely hear anything.
Even on the highway going 70+ MPH

@@hashemhashem1983 honestly I didn’t touch it at all but when the salesman was showing me stuff it seemed pretty flawless in operation
@@oliviamcveigh900 I went to our Honda dealer to check the HRV, I loved it inside out, spacious and comfortable, I didn’t take it for a test drive yet, but the car is much more beautiful in real life than the pictures and videos I saw, the images didn’t do it justice regarding to the size

I don't compare prices. It's relative to so many things like the month purchasing in, current incentives, if you have a trade, if your financing, etc....

is the touch screen climate control annoying? it seems less ennificient than the normal knobs but to me the car is great and that’s a minor sucky
