I have this on my PSN account so I was able to install it the other day. The funny thing about this demo is that the leaderboard's server is still up even though GT5 and GT6 both have been offline for a long time. Technically this is the only GT game still online on PS3!

Reason why there was no dualshock 3 support in GTHD was because the dualshock 3 did not come out until some time later in the ps3's life it was released with the sixaxis controller which infamously did not have any rumble
My first ever experience with Gran Turismo was one of my dad‘s friends who I was visiting, and he let me try his PS3, which was the first time I’ve ever even seen, one and I remember driving around in a yellow Ferrari I was like 6 years old, I have been hooked ever since.
I know without the online aspect the GT series would not be as large as it is today, but man, I sure do miss when these games focused on simulation mode.
wish they would do a modern rendition of the HD Classic idea for the PS4 & 5, there's a lot of demand for those older games so it'd be a no-brainer to port GT3/4 with slightly touched up graphics and different features
Other than car, music, sponsor and other licensing it's hard to say. Would be great. I mean anything can be said like remasters and we go oh that's way different then what we expect with studios staff and decisions years later than in the past. But a small title or similar menus or content or so would be nice. It's why Destruction Derby (Pagnosis title so Sony owned) and Ridge Racer on PS1 Classic. It's why we didn't see Wipeout happen is music licensing as other than that the ship sponsors are fake in universe ones. Which I guess with HD/2048 they were just lucky with some songs while others they didn't offer having them inside and outside Omega Collection to compare HD/2048 I don't own Fury. Or have to import the HD to Vita content thing for the HD digital version bonus. Then again look at GT7 barely any of the old courses (their decision to do or course) with focus on the GT Sport onwards ones instead besides the constant updates format of course. They did what they wanted because modelling things again is a lot of effort even though the many original GT Sport tracks versus real ones and differences to GT6 showed huh they had that much time besides updates over time. They have different goals nowadays that pretty clear. GT6 was the last of the old format besides the GT1-4 differences as well.

Never got to play HD concept, but I did get to play GT5 Prologue on tryout consoles back in the day 2008, to me the graphics and having the then new Nissan GTR and Audi R8 in it was magic. I never had concoles so I only could play GT5 Prologue again last year on RPCS3 and I have to say in one aspect I like it more than the full GT5 game: The game only has premium content in it and no low- poly GT4 cars anywhere. 5:00 Did not GT5 add them in waves per patch, and marked the cars as "premium" back in the day to indicate they had interior view? As I remember that not many cars had interior at launch.
GT5 Prologue had Spec 1 in Japan or US maybe Spec 2 was the start then Spec 3 update and Spec 3 was PAL I think or Greatest Hits/Platinum versions maybe were. Otherwise not sure. Other than that the car states of standard GT4/PSP models and premium GT5 done with interior models I guess or whatever they called them. Yeah GT4 HD wait combined with TT didn't know that. Didn't realise Premium was a thing. I don't like Eiger Nordwand. The location is fine the track is boring. Matterhorn even was better. I don't know his Patreon benefits. He has other things planned of course and the script writing process, being busy. It happens. Finding time. Sure this game is short but I mean he did GT3 & GT 2002 Concept quickly too. But that was 2+ years ago then whatever his schedule is nowadays.
I think it's a fair balance. If there is only so much to say about it, it is a tech demo with little content in this case and he did say the build up history lesson and what's on the disk I think 8 minutes is fine if enough details or opinion is covered. Length isn't everything it's the content and context sometimes.
Most of his viewers came when he was reviewing the gta and nfs games other than the gran turismo, driver and Burnout reviews his other videos (especially the non driving game ones) have significantly less views also to be fair this is just a demo not an actual game

I haven’t watch the video yet, I just want to make sure to comment to support this channel! Great videos!
So many patreons and just eight minutes long video after few weeks of silence. What do they support? :D
I don't know his Patreon benefits. He has other things planned of course and the script writing process, being busy. It happens. Finding time. Sure this game is short but I mean he did GT3 & GT 2002 Concept quickly too. But that was 2+ years ago then whatever his schedule is nowadays.
6:28 man, just PLEASE, PLEASE, turn off stability control and traction control, if you want to drift...
Bro turn the aids of for drifts. of course it wont drift with them on.
Mate your videos need to be longer
I think it's a fair balance. If there is only so much to say about it, it is a tech demo with little content in this case and he did say the build up history lesson and what's on the disk I think 8 minutes is fine if enough details or opinion is covered. Length isn't everything it's the content and context sometimes.
nfs most wanted 2012 review pllllllllllsssssssss

Most of his viewers came when he was reviewing the gta and nfs games other than the gran turismo, driver and Burnout reviews his other videos (especially the non driving game ones) have significantly less views also to be fair this is just a demo not an actual game
