  • How to add a set of Wilwood Dynalite disc brakes with 11-inch rotors to your hot rod. Popular Hot Rodding magazine installs them on a 1968 Plymouth Valiant project car using Mustang II spindles.

@Ron Malcolm...Wilwood installs a bleeder on the top AND bottom of each caliper and you can clearly see that in the video, but thanks for playing. Oh, and it's BRAKE, not break.

Guys, thanks for this video. I noticed on the proportioning valve and caliper bleed screws there appears to be PTFE thread tape. Does Wilwood specify the use of tape on the caliper fluid inlets and PV connections also, or do you dry fit them?

8:24 Original part is not a proportioning valve, that is a combination block (metering block/distribution block). Both of those are needed, the proportioning valve which was in his other hand gets installed behind the combination block inline to the rear brakes.

Thank you for the video! I am thinking hard about this upgrade. Did you have to press the bearing races in? The kit warns about a change in offset, did you see one? Using '73 spindles on a '71 pro-street Demon (Dart).

Do the mustang II spindles bolt on to a stock suspension A body?

So once you buy the kit you have to continue buying brake pads and rotors from wilwood right

What do you need? Where are you located? I'm upgrading my 1966 Valiant to disc brakes so I'll have all of the drum parts as left overs.

300 dollars for a damn adapter is borderline robbery. Cost them about 20 bucks to make. Come on Reilly motorsports

what a disappointment, I watched the whole video to see the wilwood way of bleeding the brakes and they didn't even show it, next time show 100% of the changeover and not75%!
