Installing Custom Parking Brake Cables on my Cuda!

After installing the Baer 4 wheel disc brakes my original parking brake cables were not going to work. This being a 4 speed car parking brakes were a must! I reached out to Baer and they told me who makes theirs. I reached out to control cables and they made me a custom set and they work great!

Life saver right here. The lack of a parking brake cable was a hang up for me on the Baer brakes love how they make it for all the chevy applications under the sun but not mopars... but whats new lol.

Yep, got to have these especially with a manual trans. I couldn't believe the lack of aftermarket options we have for our cars out there.

When I got my car, the front and rear cables were not connected and there was no hardware between them. Automatic, so rarely used. I seem to recall using cable clamps and a length of cable to "make it work." It passed the state inspection, but I should probably take another look at that!

Sometimes its all about just doing what you can. For an automatic car I wouldn't be as concerned immediately...but its a really nice piece of mind and a must I think with a manual.

I am in the process of installing rear Baer brakes. What were the length of cables you used and also how did you run the passenger side cable? Thanks for all of your videos.

Hey John I looked through my emails but couldn't find one with the receipt, length. Sorry. for the passenger side I tried to follow the factory routing up and over the rear axle. I would get some cheap wire to mock up the wire route as a guide. I did that along with getting a base measurement from my stock cables. Thanks for watching!
