Hello, i am visiting a friend if my visa get approved. i have a cousin who recently went to US to join his family some months after my DS 160 application. If they ask if i have other relative should I mention him and we are not so much close?
If this person is not your close family, I suppose it is not necessary to mention them unless you are going to be living with them. I hope it helps. All the best with your application
Just let me know about the documents I mean to say when the coil will ask me show me the proof then I show or I answer the questions and I show the documents also side-by-side from the window
My advice is that do what the Visa officer asks you to do. If they ask you to show a document make sure to say, "This is the document (name of the document you are handing over)" and hand it over to them. Once you hand over the document, answer any question that they ask for. normally, they will first ask a question and then ask for proof to substantiate your answer. All the Best
Hi, thank you for your question, If family members apply for a B2 visa together, they can usually attend the interview as a group by scheduling a family appointment. During the interview, the consular officer may speak to everyone together or ask questions to each person individually. It depends on how the officer wants to handle the interview. I hope it helps. All the very best 👍
Thank you for your question! Once your B2 visa is approved, it's valid for 10 years, allowing you to book your tickets anytime within that period. All the very best 👍
Thank you so much for this beautiful information. Please is it advisable to book or pay a two way flight ticket and present during your interview as a prove of returning to your home country?
Hello, thank you for your question. Yes, you can book tickets as proof of your return to your home country. However, since US visas are not guaranteed, it’s advisable to book a refundable or cancellable ticket. That way, if your visa is unfortunately denied, you can still save your money. I hope it helps! All the very best 👍
My visa got denied One moment the interviewer asked me that she wants to see more of my papers and next moment she asked which all places I would like to visit in USA and stressed that I should not look at my papers. And by the time I was replying she just said it's denied as I was uable to answer. I have all my papers showing my strong ties back at home but suddenly she decided to say it's denied and when I said I am replying to your questions but she said I should leave. I thought they would like to see my papers however the interviewer stressed I shouldnt look at my papers. How one can prove strong ties of coming back in such case. And that when I have travelled approx 20 countries before USA interview
Hello, normally it depends on the embassy and their policy and they can best guide you! However, since you already have an appointment scheduled, you could fill out another DS160 form, including your salary, download and print the new DS160 confirmation page. This time, double-check for errors. On the day of your interview, make sure to bring both DS160 confirmation pages, the old and the new ones, and label them correctly to avoid confusion. Inform the staff at the visa office that you corrected an omission from your previous DS160 by filling out another one. Their decision might depend on whether they will consider this omission as a material mistake in your application or not. And therefore, they will be able to assist you. Though I can't guarantee this will help, it's worth a try. OR, you can share the new updated DS160 with the embassy explaining your case and request them to incorporate this change well before your interview or seek guidance from them as regards next steps. I hope it helps. All the very best to you!
My ex withdrew an I-129F application after we broke up. Now I need to attend a Leadership seminar and a business meeting in two different states, can I apply for a b1 visa? And can I state the two reasons for my visa application?
Hello, and thank you for your question! You shouldn’t mention the withdrawal of the I-129F petition when applying for a B-1 visa. The B-1 visa is intended solely for business purposes, so you should focus on providing authentic and verifiable evidence of business meetings or activities in different cities or states in the US to support your application. If the visa officer inquires about your previous visa petitions during the interview, be sure to answer truthfully. However, make sure that your B-1 visa application clearly and unambiguously reflects a business purpose and not personal reason. I hope this helps! All the very best!
If you discover you’re pregnant after your visa has been approved, you can generally still proceed with your plans. However, note that the U.S. restricts entry for “birth tourism” (traveling primarily to give birth in the U.S. for citizenship purposes). If your visa was issued before you knew about the pregnancy, this typically won’t be an issue-as long as your primary purpose aligns with your visa type and you plan to return to your home country within the stay duration approved by the CBP officer at the U.S. Port of Entry. all the best! Hlo mam I'm a govt employee working in armed forces India I'm planning to Visit for US through tourist visa which documents required for me pls reply & how many days before applying for tourist visa process?
Hello, the documents required for a tourist visa application remain the same for all B2 visa applicants. However, given your military service status, the consular officer may request a note from your protocol officer, specifying certain details unique to your situation. This requirement varies based on the country from which you're applying for the visa. I recommend reaching out to the United States Embassy in India for clarification on any specific documents they may require from military personnel. Regarding the visa timeline, currently, it exceeds one year. You can monitor the status using this link: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html I wish you all the very best! take care
Question, is the locations to visit showing or appearing in the final form submitted? Because when i print the final form, it is not showing. Can anyone please confirm? Thanks in advance.
Atty.what if over stayed what is tne consequences. If the documents is tourist visa and had worked as nurse in new york for almost a year. How can i avail to have green card .
Can I use a B1/B2 visa? I'm an Indonesian automotive entrepreneur who wants to come to the United States for seven days. My main objective is to conduct a business study tour, and I'll also be spending three days in New York for a quick training installation?
Based on your inputs, it seems like you will be traveling for 1) business consulting and 2) participating in short term training for 3 days. If that is correct, then you can apply for B1 visa. But remember that on B1 visa it is crucial that all activities are for a temporary period like indulging in temporary business activities and you must not get any remuneration nor must you engage in paid work! I hope it helps and wishing you all the very best! 👍
Hi, thanks for asking! If you’re visiting the U.S. primarily for shopping, this is considered tourism and falls under the permissible activities for a tourist (B-2) visa. When discussing your plans, it’s appropriate to mention that your trip includes visiting tourist sites and shopping, as these are typical tourism-related activities. wishing you all the very best, take care 👍
I have over stayed in US few years ago.but I returned home before five years end.My son's planning to take his wedding in US. He is a PHD student. How can I get visa to participate the wedding.plese tell me the way to get visa
Hello, thank you for your question. While no one can guarantee the outcome of a visa application, the best approach is to apply for a US Visa and prepare your answers honestly and genuinely. When addressing a past overstay during your visa application and interview, it's crucial to acknowledge it honestly and provide a clear explanation as to why you had to overstay. If the overstay was unintentional or due to force majeure or extenuating circumstances, bring along any supporting documentation so that the visa officer understands your situation clearly. Explain the steps you undertook to rectify the situation, such as voluntarily returning to your home country. Additionally, remember to demonstrate strong ties to your home country, like stable employment, family responsibilities, or property ownership, to indicate your intention to return after attending your son's wedding. It's important to explain what has changed since your last visit and why the visa officer should trust that you won't overstay this time. This approach helps establish credibility and reassure visa officers of your eligibility and intent to comply with visa regulations. I hope this helps and I wish you all the very best with your upcoming visa application. Take care
Hello thank you for the information, I'm married and my son is a college student in NY I have Visa and I was in Us 2022's Christmas to visit my son. So now my doughter who is 5 years old have an appointment in US embassy on Jun for the purpose of using their summer time, but I'm afraid that her father is different so if they asking me why about her father's name what would be my answer? Please help me before I make big mistakes, thank you.
Hello, I am sure you will be perfectly fine at the interview. Just make sure to be honest if they ask any question about your daughter’s father and carry documentary proof to support your answer as well. All the very best to you all 👍 take care
Hi Mam, I previously had a visa application rejected under section 214(b) for B1 and I am planning to reapply and would like to know how to address the previous rejection reason in my new application, just mention that it was rejected under 214(b) or need to give any justification in DS-160? Specifically, how should I respond to questions about the prior rejection during the interview for my second attempt?
Hi, Thank you for your question. In my opinion even though ownership and registration documents for a car can be included to demonstrate financial stability, they may not significantly impress the Visa Officer about your financial stability compared to more substantial financial assets like property or investments. I hope this answers your question. I wish you all the very best for your upcoming visa interview. Take care
Based on my understanding of your situation, it seems that you and your wife have different travel dates for your tourist visa to the US. If this is the case, it's crucial to be completely honest in your responses to the visa officer and to provide a genuine explanation for the difference in your vacation schedules. This explanation should be supported by relevant documentation, such as family commitments, employment schedules, or any other legitimate reasons for this discrepancy in your travel dates. Honesty and transparency are key throughout the visa application process to ensure credibility and increase the likelihood of a successful outcome. I hope it helps. All the very best to you!
Hello, thanks for your question. When applying for a B-2 visa, it's crucial to demonstrate strong ties to your home country. Traveling with your kids can support your case by indicating that your visit is a temporary family vacation. On the other hand, leaving your kids behind can also be a strong tie, suggesting you have compelling reasons to return home. Regardless of which option you choose, it's important to show additional ties, such as employment, property, or other family commitments, to clearly establish your intention to return to your home country after your visit. Simply having kids in your home country is not a sufficiently compelling ground to prove ties! I hope it helps! Take care and all the very best to you!
Hi, The B1/B2 visa fee was increased from $160 to $185 in 2023, and there has been no further change to the fee since then. Hope it helps. All the best 👍
Thanks for the insight: if you are invited to participate in a cultural convention, is it advisable to show your invitation letter during the presentation of the purpose of your trip even when you have not been asked.
Hi, thanks for your question! Generally the unwritten rule is answer only what questions they ask and provide only those documents they want to see and demand from you. I hope it helps. All the very best to you! 👍
Hi, firstly, try to find out what type of visa you want to apply for. It can be a visitor or tourist visa, student visa, or work visa.. and then follow the process accordingly. I have made some videos on tourist, sudent, business, and L1 visa. Pls do check it out. It will prove to be helpful. I hope it helps. All the best!
Hello, thank you for your question. As regards working rights, unfortunately you cannot work in the United States on a B1/B2 visa. The B2 visa is strictly for tourism, pleasure, or visiting purposes and B1 visa is for business purposes, such as attending conferences, negotiating contracts, or consulting with business associates. It does not permit you to perform actual work or receive payment from a U.S. source for employment. If you need to work in the US, you will need to apply for a work visa like an H1B or L1 or any another appropriate visa that permits employment. I hope it helps. All the best and take care 🙏
Hello My mother has applied for US visiting visa because my elder brother has married a Us citizen girl. So now she is pregnant. So my mother need to go to usa for visiting. So what all question do the interviewr ask. What all documents should i carry for the interview
Hello, the visa officer could possibly ask some of these questions.. obviously, I cannot guarantee that these questions will be asked, but these are some of the probable ones that I can suggest your mom prepares for 1. Purpose of her visit to the United States. As Proof of her reason for travel, I would suggest that you mother carries documents related to your sister-in-law's pregnancy. 2. They might ask questions about the duration of her stay like how long wil she be in the US.. make sure the answer is aligned with what you wrote in DS160 and also the expected delivery date of your sister-in-law. 3. They might also be interested in knowing the visa status of your bother. Make sure your mom carries a copy of your brother’s visa, passport and also an invitation letter to support her answer. 4. The VO might ask about the where your mom will be staying and who will be funding her visit. Or how will she support your brother’s family? 5. Questions might also be around Financial stability and so make sure she is able to support her answer by carrying copy of bank statements or income tax returns. 6. And they might want to know about her intent to return back to the US. She must be able to prove strong ties to her home country to convince the VO of her return back from the US. 7. They might also want to know about your mother’s previous visit to the US. So these are some of the probable questions that they might ask. Make sure the answers are honest and to the point. I hope it helps. I wish your mom all the very best for her upcoming visa interview. Take care
@@legalopolis hello sir My mom is planning to go USA at june. My mom wanted to stay there for 6 months but in interview my mom said she is planning to stay at USA for 3 months. So is it possible for mom to stay at USA for 6 months or is there any problem in it?
Hi Madam, My interview is this week , can i tell if i am visiting my relatives or i wanna visit tourist destinations, if i confirmed i am visiting my relatives i need to carry their green card or documents? Please reply
Hello, You can state that your purpose for traveling to the US is to visit your (name of the relation like brother/sister/daughter/son) and to explore a few tourist attractions . If your relatives are willing to share their Green Card copy or even a copy of their passport with you, it's advisable to carry it to the interview but present it to the visa officer only if they request as proof of your relationship. It's recommended to carry two types of proof: 1) evidence of your relative's residency in the USA (such as a visa or Green Card or simply a copy of their passport because in my opinion, through the passport number the visa officer can check their visa status), and 2) documentation demonstrating your intention to visit tourist destinations. I hope it helps. All the very best to you. Thanks
Hi, thanks for your question. In my opinion please bring the original along with 1-2 copes so that in case the visa officer wants to keep the document for records, you still have your original document with you. Bringing original document also helps the visa officer verify the authenticity of your copies. I hope it helps. Wishing you all the very best 👍
It's always best to answer honestly and truthfully. So you can say, "I have six children, one of whom is deceased." This provides the necessary information to visa officer while also acknowledging the unfortunate family circumstances on your end, truthfully. I hope it helps. Wishing you all the very best!
Hi mam I have selected english langhuage for my visa interview But i think i am more comfortable with my native language gujarati or hindi Can i request officer change my language at time of interview Or what can i do for change my language
Hello, Thank you for your question. If you are having your visa interview in your home country, the visa officers should be able to conduct the interview in Hindi if needed. You can request this at the time of your interview as well. However, it's best to check with the specific US consulate or embassy in advance where you plan to have your interview to confirm and be sure that they can support services in the language of your choice. I wish you all the best in your upcoming visa interview. Take care 🙏
Hi, Thanks for your question. In my opinion, any document that is not in English must be translated into English for a U.S. visa application. It's advisable to have them done by a professional translator if that's possible because this will add authenticity to the translation, and will ensure that the U.S. consulate or embassy officials can properly review, understand and rely on the the contents of the documents during your mom's interview. I hope it helps and I wish your mom all the very best for her upcoming visa interview. Take care!
If I understand correctly, once you have filled and submitted all the forms required for your visa processing, like form DS160, you don't have to submit any document at that time. You must carry all the documents that can act as proof or provide supporting evidence to your case at the time of the interview. I hope it helps. All the very best.
@@legalopolis Good day Madame, hoping all is well by you,. I have a question, I am a student but I have been following an online course in the USA and I will be booking for a B1 B2 visa for a 3 intense classes in Florida. I have payed for the cause, and have had a scholarship in for the course. Also will get an invitation later from the school. In this case what will be my approaches toward question like raison for trip, close ties to my home country, ?
@@fomekongronsard6920 The Reason for your trip will be the completion of a course that you have enrolled in. Close ties are important because the visa officer wants to make sure that you have a strong reason to come back to your home country after your classes, so make sure you have proof to support your strong ties to your home country. As regards the visa type, make sure to check with your DSO whether you will need an F1/M1 or B visa. Pls have a look at my video on F1 visa-application and interview, then you will have more clarity as regards the answer for family ties. All the very best!
Hi, Thanks for your question. Based on your question, I am assuming that you will be traveling to the US without your husband. And in that regard, I feel that your sister inviting you to her graduation should not disturb your travel plans, provided you have the appropriate proof of the graduation event happening at the college or university, such as an invitation letter from your sister along with an email or any proper confirmation from the University from their official email or on their official letterhead . Also carry some proof of your sister being in the US like a copy of her visa and passport. I feel it would help strengthen your case and substantiate the purpose of your visit. If your husband is staying behind and not traveling with you, It can actually strengthen your visa application, showing strong reasons for you to return back to your home country after after attending the graduation ceremony. Additionally, just to be on a safer side, you can carry proof of your marriage, such as a marriage certificate or a copy your husband's passport with your name in it or 1-2 family photos, to demonstrate your relationship (it will come in handy if the visa officer is curious to know more about your husband). Also be prepared to answer why your husband is not traveling with you. I hope it helps. I wish you all the very best. Take care.
Hello, thank you for your question. Being single is not an issue when applying for a B1/B2 visa. The key to approval is showing strong ties to your home country, such as employment, property, or close family connections, which demonstrate your intention to return after your visit. Your marital status does not impact the visa decision. I hope it helps and all the best 👍
@@legalopolis i know it shudnt but without asking about the intention to return back, how can one ask if u r still single and look at the monitor for sometime and say sorry with the reason saying not enough proof .. but I had my property, my own company, and bank balance to support my trip
I would like get b1b2 visa My Documents : Company brossure,, Company building rent agreement,,conversations Emails with an American,, My company is a tourism business company. Can i hope b1b2 visa?
Hi, thanks for asking. Normally the documents needed are very specific to each individual’s personal situation. But on a generic level You will need a letter of invitation from your American friend and some documents that can authenticate their ID or an invitation from the USA based host organization on their letterhead, or/and Strong proof of ties to your home country so that you can convince the visa officer that you will return to your home county after your period of stay is over. Business documents from your home country, such as business license, registration, or letter from your employer if you don’t own the business yourself, as regards the tourism business. These are some of the documents you will need. My suggestions is that it is always best to look at your situation objectively and try to make sure that you are able to convince the visa officer in the 2-3 minutes that they will be interviewing you, that you don’t have an immigrant intent and you have strong compelling reasons to come back to your home county once the duration of your visa is over. I wish you all the very best and good luck 👍

SOON I AM APPLYING FOR DISCHARGE from thìs case to The Hon.Court . How many chances are there in getting visa
Hi, thanks for your question. Whether you will get a visa depends on a few factors like the purpose of your visit and if the consular offer thinks you have compelling reasons to return to your home country. If you have good and genuine reasons for your trip and they are convinced by your strong ties to your home country, then there's a possibility that they might approve it. But it's totally up to the embassy official interviewing you and will decide based on your situation. However, it’s worth a try! I wish you all the very best 👍

If I am going on a vacation to meet my family in Atlanta.. How can I place my answer very well to the question of purpose of your visit?
Just let me know about the documents
I mean to say when the coil will ask me show me the proof then I show or I answer the questions and I show the documents also side-by-side from the window

This time, double-check for errors. On the day of your interview, make sure to bring both DS160 confirmation pages, the old and the new ones, and label them correctly to avoid confusion. Though I can't guarantee this will help, it's worth a try.

In US embassy what if your visa has been approved when you are going for medical checkup and you got am pregnant can i proceed with the process
I'm a govt employee working in armed forces India
I'm planning to Visit for US through tourist visa which documents required for me pls reply & how many days before applying for tourist visa process?
Hello, the documents required for a tourist visa application remain the same for all B2 visa applicants. However, given your military service status, the consular officer may request a note from your protocol officer, specifying certain details unique to your situation. This requirement varies based on the country from which you're applying for the visa. I recommend reaching out to the United States Embassy in India for clarification on any specific documents they may require from military personnel.
Regarding the visa timeline, currently, it exceeds one year. You can monitor the status using this link: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html
I wish you all the very best! take care

What if I say I want to go shopping how do I answer the question

Take care

Specifically, how should I respond to questions about the prior rejection during the interview for my second attempt?
Apart from land or house can one present car document to back his or her financial standing?
Hi, Thank you for your question. In my opinion even though ownership and registration documents for a car can be included to demonstrate financial stability, they may not significantly impress the Visa Officer about your financial stability compared to more substantial financial assets like property or investments. I hope this answers your question. I wish you all the very best for your upcoming visa interview. Take care
I want this question to be answered am married and my wife vacation is not the same time with my how will I convince them for that
Based on my understanding of your situation, it seems that you and your wife have different travel dates for your tourist visa to the US.

Thank you so much ma,my husband is in the us while am back home with the children
Is it wise to travel with children or children are also ties please 🙏 answer thus question for me
Hello, thanks for your question.

CAN YOU WORK IN THE UNITED STATES ON A B1 B2 VISA IF KNOW HOW CAN YOU WORK
Hello, thank you for your question.
Hello
My mother has applied for US visiting visa because my elder brother has married a Us citizen girl. So now she is pregnant. So my mother need to go to usa for visiting. So what all question do the interviewr ask.
What all documents should i carry for the interview
Hello, the visa officer could possibly ask some of these questions.. obviously, I cannot guarantee that these questions will be asked, but these are some of the probable ones that I can suggest your mom prepares for
Take care

Hi Madam,
My interview is this week , can i tell if i am visiting my relatives or i wanna visit tourist destinations, if i confirmed i am visiting my relatives i need to carry their green card or documents?
Thanks
Should I bring copy or real propery form?
Hi, thanks for your question. In my opinion please bring the original along with 1-2 copes so that in case the visa officer wants to keep the document for records, you still have your original document with you. Bringing original document also helps the visa officer verify the authenticity of your copies. I hope it helps. Wishing you all the very best 👍
I have 6 kids one is deseased, if they asked how manykids ihave should i include the one thats deceased ?
It's always best to answer honestly and truthfully. So you can say, "I have six children, one of whom is deceased." This provides the necessary information to visa officer while also acknowledging the unfortunate family circumstances on your end, truthfully. I hope it helps. Wishing you all the very best!
Hi mam
I have selected english langhuage for my visa interview
But i think i am more comfortable with my native language gujarati or hindi
Can i request officer change my language at time of interview
Or what can i do for change my language
Hello, Thank you for your question. If you are having your visa interview in your home country, the visa officers should be able to conduct the interview in Hindi if needed. You can request this at the time of your interview as well. However, it's best to check with the specific US consulate or embassy in advance where you plan to have your interview to confirm and be sure that they can support services in the language of your choice. I wish you all the best in your upcoming visa interview. Take care 🙏

Hello, My mom has interview on next month. Does she need to translate the property proof document from native language to english?
Hi, Thanks for your question. In my opinion, any document that is not in English must be translated into English for a U.S. visa application. It's advisable to have them done by a professional translator if that's possible because this will add authenticity to the translation, and will ensure that the U.S. consulate or embassy officials can properly review, understand and rely on the the contents of the documents during your mom's interview. I hope it helps and I wish your mom all the very best for her upcoming visa interview. Take care!
@@legalopolis Thankyou so much for the reply.
What if I say I want to go shopping
Shall i need to send any documents just after submission?
If I understand correctly, once you have filled and submitted all the forms required for your visa processing, like form DS160, you don't have to submit any document at that time. You must carry all the documents that can act as proof or provide supporting evidence to your case at the time of the interview. I hope it helps. All the very best.

Hello ma ,my sister will be graduating and she has invited me in the us but my husband too is there ,is it going to disturb my traveling to the us?
Take care.
Being single is problem in getting B1, B2 visa?
Hello, thank you for your question. Being single is not an issue when applying for a B1/B2 visa. The key to approval is showing strong ties to your home country, such as employment, property, or close family connections, which demonstrate your intention to return after your visit. Your marital status does not impact the visa decision. I hope it helps and all the best 👍

I would like get b1b2 visa
My Documents :
Company brossure,,
Company building rent agreement,,conversations Emails with an American,,
My company is a tourism business company.
