Yes the crazy thing is its easier to simply swim across the Rio Grande and enter illegally than to actually get a visa. I remember my visa interview which held last year in march. My sister and my brother in law sponsored our trip to USA. They both are US citizens by the way. So my sister applied for me and my father who is a retired officer from Indian railways. I remember upon my turn in the embassy there was a smiling Indian American visa officer sitting in the window waiting for us to come forward towards the window. His 1st question was how do we two me and my father know each other. He specifically quoted my sister’s name saying who is she? And what’s the purpose of your visit?? Upon answering the question he asked me what does my sister do and where does she live in us?? After that he asked me what do I do for living ?? And promptly said your father is a retired officer my father said yes then he asked do you get your pension on time sir my father said yes 😂😂 During the entire process the visa officer was smiling looking at me and typing on his system and said congratulations your visa application is approved enjoy your vacations. The entire interview took around 3 to 4 minutes I reckon !!
He was probably thinking of someone "from your own culture", a countryman. I would be highly amused if I was a visa applicant and they went through the trouble to find someone who looked just like me.
It really boils down to who makes the interview. When I went to the interview there was this official that was denying visas to EVERYONE. At the waiting room we were all nervous because everyone was praying this guy wouldn't be assigned to any of us. When it was my turn, it was such a relief it was with another official. The interview was pleasant, and I got granted the visa, but when I left and said goodbye to a friend I made in the waiting area, he said the guy was still denying visas left and right. I wished him good luck.

My son and I previously applied over 5 years ago, and we were denied. I've filled up honestly to the best of my knowledge, and we definitely do not have an intention to overstay in the US as my son is in school as well as I have a high paying job here in the Philippines. I am trying again alone this year as I will have a conference to attend to next year, so hopefully, it will be approved 🙏🏽. Thanks for your videos. It is a great help. God bless you.
Thank you sir providing us for valuable information, may allah Bless you, as an ex-us embassy officer you provide accurate information, but others can't give real information,
I have 3 children and we live in the UK. My wedding would be 15 years in May and I intend to travel with my husband to the US. We both have booked 2 weeks break. Our interview is next month April. My children and our jobs should be enough for the ties right. We do not have a house and we both earn salaries, so no business. I want to come back and share my testimony. I need encouragement. 😅
Very informative. I went through all that you mentioned. I believed I was just asked 2-3 questions and was successful. Maybe because I traveled twice as a J-1 prior to my B-Visa, and I was still I. University at the time.
It is a clearing and forwarding business, and after a two-minute interview, they hand you the pink paper without explaining why they've denied the visa. Seriously, why deny someone a transit visa or crew? While everything is clear, can they contact the US company to verify? Is that not corruption? They should refund the visa cost. It is imperative that there be a demonstration against the US embassy for exploiting innocent applicants.
How does it feel knowing that you have the power to make or brake someone’s dreams and future? People like you discuss me! I tried for over 20 years to bring my sister in the US for just a visit, but she was turned down over and over by constantly moving the goalposts… our parents were getting older and sickly and she just wanted to see them one more time… now they are both passed…
Thankfully, as a Canadian, I will never have to go through a US visa interview. We can enter the US visa-free for up to180 days (many Canadian retirees do this and spend the winter months in Arizona, Texas or Florida). When we line up at the airport, we can line up with the Americans (that.line usually moves much faster) because we don't have to get our irises or fingerprints scanned, like all other foreigners do (though they do have full access to Cdn databases for crimes, health, etc so they know if you have committed a crime and can deny entry to you based on this). And yes, we can even study visa-free in the USA (however we do still need to register under the I-20 Student Registration program). When I got my pilot's license in the USA, no student visa was required. And the best part of getting the pilots lic in the USA is every single license, rating and endorsement is completely transferable to Canada, unlike EU, UK, Australia or any other country that has their own licensing requirements. (Only the PPL is transferable in most countries but not instrument rating, multi-engine, floatplane, etc.)
Unfortunately the person interviewed me was so serious, no smile whatsoever, didn't ask many questions or talk so much, even didn't ask for so many documents I had with me, in few minutes he just decided to hold my visa on administrative process :-( So sad because me and my husband are getting older every year and already it is 4 years we are living seperated after 3 years being together in another country. They took away the chance of even thinking to have a kid, or for me it is getting harder and harder to get an education inside of the US, if it ever happens anyway. It's just not fair or human. What I could possibly have done as an artist, that prevents them to just issue a visa for me to live with my husband.
I did not apply for a visa to the United States, but all visa centers in most countries of the 1-st world require a huge pile of documents. And if the decision is mainly made on the basis of an internal criminal investigation, a visa application form and an interview, then WHY the hell do I need to prepare this bunch of documents! I don't understand! I spent a lot of money even on the translation of documents and I believe that 90% of these documents are not opened by my officer at all. I would be glad if you could explain this side of the visa officer's job.
well i have been 100/100 honest 2 times with all my docs and got my visa refused twice,i have another appointment tomorrow but i dont have any hope for it, i wanted to be there just for 4 months in j1 program. these interviews are totally random
I am business owner, but the officer reject my visa only in 3 question without checking my document or my bank transaction , while many illigal immigrant show them self on youtube and very proud for it.. Sorry, I doubt the effectiveness of the American immigration system,
Have been honest always at interviews. My visa being denied twice fter sold my house and property because it was too big to stay alone after children went to college. Have not seen my eldest son more than seven years. Youngest son almost four years.Never have seen three of my grand children. I am thinking everyday of them and hug all of them in prayers. Actually I had no intention to stay there. Always came back after visit. Yet...unfortunately in my last two interviews it's denied. I don't know whom to blame. Being honest also can be a problem???!!!!! Because I did not lie at all.
My transit visa application was denied and I don’t know why. And it was so frustrating because we were planning to pass through the US and go onto our destination simply because tickets were cheaper if the layover was in the US. We never intended to stay in the US.
I was denied a visitor visa in 2009 for "having weak ties with this country" (my country of residence). I'd like to think it's because I wasn't married and had no children to come home to. Now, 2024 I'm still unmarried (by choice) and have no children. Is my chance to get a visa this time still slim, Sir? Any idea? Thank you.
Marriage and kids are only one factor. To show strong ties u need property and money, and you need a compelling reason why you will return back to your home country.
I've never had a bad outcome, and was just curious so I clicked on it. I always had super brief interviews..Hi, how are you? Do you enjoy it here? ok....bye
It was shocking that my brother and his wife’s B1 visa was just denied. The reason given was “the inability to prove strong ties to their home country (China), which would ensure they return after their U.S. visit.” They were told that if they choose to reapply, they would need to provide additional evidence such as stable employment, property ownership, family responsibilities, or social ties in China. This decision feels so unfair. Over 10 years ago, they willingly gave up their immigration visa, showing they had no intention of relocating to the U.S. permanently. They simply want to visit me. The officer didn’t review the application that clearly state on the application form. They paid over $360and the officer finish their interview in 2 minutes.
Hi good info here and all am asking when are the long ques reducing .once you put ijnan appointment its kept on waiting untill a slot is available sometimes you are give 8 to.10.months ahead.
Filled with very helpful information. What if my fiancé was denied two visa applications to come to the US, one as a student, and another as a model because of lack of family ties, and she also overstayed her worked visa in London? How would this affect her?”
I have a very important question. I was not arested in USA on any criminal link, but was arrested and relieased and the case was dismissed on a case that was civic. It was related to immigration. I was given a case, court date to prove that I changed school properly, my school provided that and the case was dismissed. Even everytime i traveled to USA before, I had to wait extra 30 minutes or so at a special room, just for them to check this thing. Now, should I say I was arrested? although it was not criminal? It was related to removal proceedings that was dismissed.
Hello. Have an upcoming L1B blanket visa interview. A colleague of mine has the interview on the same date and same time as well. Will this lead to rejections since both of us will be talking about the company’s proprietary product as niche skills?

I am a wife ,a mother and I am a civil servant in my state ,no intention to come live there nor to leave my family behind.
Please if you have won a DV lottery in the past but did not get a second notification to book an interview appointment, does that pass for applying for a visa before?
I have applied for a visit visa DS-160 type B1/B2. Before this, I have also applied for immigration visa, but it is a invalid application. The story is that I went to a visa agent and asked him to process my application, and he told me that I do not deal with US visit visas, and he told to me to do that go to US immigration website and fill an application. I created an account and paid $10 fee, but that application is very complicated I could not understand it and left it incomplete. Then I came to know about the process of visit visa, and I applied for it. Now, I don't know how I am going to convince the visa officer that I was misguided by the visa agent and that my immigration application is incomplete and useless.
I applied gor US visa last year im so excited but when i arrived at the window the visa officer didnt even looked at me asked one question about what subject im teaching because im a teacher and immediately denied ... Now i already retired but my dream to visit US is maybe impossible now ... The visa officer not client friendly ...
Thank you this is really helpful, have you encounter before applicant have incomplete info in their Ds160 and when they contacted the nvc the advise is to just inform the interviwer about the missing info do you think it can be ground for denial of visa?
When visa officer asking about previous refusals, is it for refusal for US visa or any other visa? If I had a refusal for Canada before, should I mention it too?
It's really helpful.❤ I have one worry sir, that's i am already admitted in one university in USA, but without scholarship. My in law helped me with his bank state, and he also promised to sponsor my studies. I also received the F1 form from the school where i get admission. At the moment i am a bit skeptical to go ahead with the visa application process because i usually hear from people that if you apply for student visa without scholarship, most of the time you will be denied. What advice will give me please?
This video is very informative. I have a quick question for you! In 2007 I was granted a US J1 visa for a two year exchange program and now I want to return for a visit as a tourist for my birthday on August 20th. I never really had the chance to visit Las Vegas and I want to spend my birthday week there before proceeding with my travels to Mexico and then Europe. I already have my Schengen Visa for Europe. My question is will it be a huge process to reapply for a us visa again or not? Windhoek, Namibia

I gave my study visa interview to Poland. I think I made some dumb mistakes like when she asked, "how did you pay your fees?" I told he through "(bank name) remittance." After the interview, I realized she meant where did I get my funds for fees. Literally ruined my own life with my mouth. I have no plans to migrate anywhere but what I want to study is not taught in my country. 😭
Hello, Sir. I'm delighted to have watched your video as I am planning to apply for a visa. I currently work online, and I just want to ask if you also contact the employers we input in our application? Thanks

We suggest you review our student visa guides at www.zfvisaguides.com for all the details and insights you'll need to prepare to effectively communicate your situation to your Visa Officer at your interview. Loud and clear..thank you sir for the infos and clarifications
You are welcome!
Best of luck to you! Reach out to us at info@zfvisa.com if you'd like our help to prepare for your interview.
How was Ur son then?
Thank you sir providing us for valuable information, may allah Bless you, as an ex-us embassy officer you provide accurate information, but others can't give real information,
It's my pleasure!
The consulate kept our passports,. Thanksfor the information this is exactly what happened to us
I have 3 children and we live in the UK.
Good luck! Schedule a session with us at zfvisa.com if you'd like our help preparing. Hope you have a fantastic trip!
I experienced from start to finished all the things you shared in your blog sir .. thank you
Hope you got a good outcome!
Thanks so much sir , I always followed you and it helped me in getting Visa
That's fantastic to hear!
Very informative. I went through all that you mentioned. I believed I was just asked 2-3 questions and was successful. Maybe because I traveled twice as a J-1 prior to my B-Visa, and I was still I. University at the time.
Fantastic! Glad you were approved.
Thank you all your information remarks, ideas and important advice.
Yaaa. There is nothing like beeing honest.
yes!
This video helped me a lot in practicing and preparing my visa interview.
Thank you so much! :)
Glad you found it useful!
You got in?
*My VISA into China took MONTHS!!!*
I'm sooo glad I finally got it!!!
So I know how it feels for these chinese trying to get a visa!!
Really great info sir, will definitely be considering a consult prior to the visa application.
Best of luck!
I remember that day,it wasn't easy.
It’s not an easy process!
I love the information you share here. Thank you ❤
I didn't even submit the ds 260. But Being Honest is so comfertable.
Canadians have it pretty good when it comes to the U.S. visa!
Luckiest person 👍
Thank you Travis this is very helpful and informative. I've learned a lot!.
Glad to hear it!
Listening to it am going for visa tomorrow
Good luck!

Excellent. Thank you

Best views of ZF visa ❤❤
Every educative am watching from Ghana
Am so sorry😢😢😢
i was very confused after watching your video very confident now for B1 B2 visa
Glad you found it useful!
It can feel that way, but you need to better understand so you can prepare.
How did your appointment go ? Did you finally get approved?
@@LentineM no refused again
Thank you so much for these information.
You’re welcome!
I am business owner, but the officer reject my visa only in 3 question without checking my document or my bank transaction , while many illigal immigrant show them self on youtube and very proud for it.. Sorry, I doubt the effectiveness of the American immigration system,
They will give you a slip stating why its refused
@@unknownx3978 Incomplete documents, it was funny because I brought complete documents and she didn't ask what documents she wanted to see.
Thanks a million for sharing this professional information
You’re welcome
Very interesting video thank you so much ❤
You decide not only on the future of applicants, but also on the future of your country
And they do a terrible job at that
Have been honest always at interviews.

Thank you for this very much
My transit visa application was denied and I don’t know why.
@@unknownx3978 thanks for this🙏
Very informative viedo sir 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks. Very interesting tips. 👍
I've never had a bad outcome, and was just curious so I clicked on it. I always had super brief interviews..Hi, how are you? Do you enjoy it here? ok....bye
Uhu. I ve been in Frankfurt to the interview appoinment and there IT was great. I Took the visa
Fantastic!
Thank you sir Travis.
You are very welcome!
Hi good info here and all am asking when are the long ques reducing .once you put ijnan appointment its kept on waiting untill a slot is available sometimes you are give 8 to.10.months ahead.
The best idea is to keep checking.
Filled with very helpful information. What if my fiancé was denied two visa applications to come to the US, one as a student, and another as a model because of lack of family ties, and she also overstayed her worked visa in London? How would this affect her?”
These are all potential complications. We're happy to help her understand what to expect, and to help her prepare, if she plans to try again.
Thank you so much for helping us
I have a very important question.
We would need to know more to offer guidance, but you should definitely not try to hide this. Send us an email to info@zfvisa.com.
Wonderful information indeed, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you officer for good mesage.
Hello.
Have an upcoming L1B blanket visa interview.
A colleague of mine has the interview on the same date and same time as well.
Will this lead to rejections since both of us will be talking about the company’s proprietary product as niche skills?
Thanks for very informative information, how about bout 27 years ago did the American embassy had finger print process?
Embassies and Consulates have been collecting fingerprints for a very long time, so best to assume they have your fingerprints on file.
You are analysis are the best ,thank you so much
I am going for a B1B2 interview this month July 2024 ,I am coming for a 14 days vacation in America America
This will be my first time ,I pray my Visa is approved.

Please if you have won a DV lottery in the past but did not get a second notification to book an interview appointment, does that pass for applying for a visa before?
What if u don't remember the reason while you where denied
Great video ❤
I applied gor US visa last year im so excited but when i arrived at the window the visa officer didnt even looked at me asked one question about what subject im teaching because im a teacher and immediately denied ... Now i already retired but my dream to visit US
is maybe impossible now ... The visa officer not client

Glad you find it useful!
Thank you this is really helpful, have you encounter before applicant have incomplete info in their Ds160 and when they contacted the nvc the advise is to just inform the interviwer about the missing info do you think it can be ground for denial of visa?
It’s impossible to say without knowing more about your circumstances. Send us an email to info@zfvisa.com, and we can perhaps offer some guidance.
When visa officer asking about previous refusals, is it for refusal for US visa or any other visa? If I had a refusal for Canada before, should I mention it too?
Hi sir, please do the DV applicant need an affidavit of support, too?
Yes
You'll need to go through the normal application / interview process, but your previous J-1 visa may help your chance of success. Reach out to us at info@zfvisa.com if you'd like our help to prepare.
Hi Sir!
How are you doing?
Could you please make some videos regarding EB-3 visa including, processing, timing, retrogressions etc?

I agree that they should refund all fees the applicants pay if they are denied.
can't . murica needs the $$$
Very true
Hello, Sir. I'm delighted to have watched your video as I am planning to apply for a visa. I currently work online, and I just want to ask if you also contact the employers we input in our application? Thanks
Possibly! Best advice is to be honest, and answer all of the Visa Officer's questions as truthfully as possible.
@@ZFvisaDoes us visa interview officer know about our previous travel history to other country's by scanning the passport?
Do the officer check annual income or the adjusted gross income? My interview is coming up and wanted to make sure
Please can you suggest some questions asked in visa from student studying in university and to prove them that I you will return back to your home country
This is a great question, but unfortunately the answer depends entirely on your unique situation. You'll need to focus on your plans - both during and after graduation. We suggest you review our student visa guides at www.zfvisaguides.com for all the details and insights you'll need to prepare to effectively communicate your situation to your Visa Officer at your interview. Best of luck!
