So jealous you got yours working!! Mine has been acting up since day one. Just did the Christmas update and it gave me so many troubles. About to try my first print with the new firmware, wish me luck
Go to elegoo's website, click on support, go to firmware and find your printer. Download and unzip file. Load the whole folder onto the thumb drive that came with printer. Then, save the tft file that you downloaded onto the memory card that came with printer. With printer turned off plug in thumb drive into printer and power on. Should boot up and download firmware. You will now need to turn off printer again remove back panel from your printers screen and plug in memory card. Power on let it update. When complete then power down and remove memory car and replace back panel. Good to go. Level bed and enjoy.

Make sure X gantry is level, this was my main issue. Good luck!
