    linear rails are a must, the layer alignment (walls) and vfa are really bad. had the x1c and k1 max, sent the x1c back because i can mod the creality machines. now all my linear rail printers produce better quality than x1c, even the cr10s pro v2. the 2 rods on X are just a bad idea, if one is a bit off, printhead will bind and cause alot of different problems. i mean, in quality profile bambu sets external wall accelerations to 200mm/s and 2000 accelration, my bedslinger can do those speeds too. x1c is only a fast printer if you don't care about quality.

    i dont know i don't think this was a fair "race" here is why the bambu from what i saw had 3 differences 1. supports the elegoo didn't have any supports and just printed the supports will add time 2. the bambu had a purge block in the back where the elegoo did not have a purge block and can be what added even more time on the bambu causing a longer print and the 3rd is as mentioned is layer height so all of this being said id say set the bambu to match the elegoo in all settings and run it again OR add a purge block, supports and set the elegoo to match the bambu layer height and re run it make it a pure 1:1 race from size to infill etc. other wise you are not setting a fair ground

      As the description reads, I didn't plan on making a video. I just needed the same parts printed at the same time and threw this video together for those interested. That is why they were not exactly the same in the settings, but in my opinion, good info. I myself was surprised it was as close as it was with similar quality. I will need to print another two brackets soon and will be more Itentional in my settings to see which is truly faster. Thanks for watching.

      This print was done on a bambu lab default pla settings . 2 layer height. But the bambu comes dialed in. My other printers did not. I would scale a model down and start with stock settings and do small tweaks until I figured out what works best. I heard good things about Anycubic printers.

    That color issue almost looks flow related which can change the look of a filament as it prints similar to what you saw. Either way, I use IIID Max almost exclusively now because of price and quality for sure. Had one issue of a roll with one bubble in it that caused me some grief but only because I didn’t look for it and instead thought it was a clogged nozzle. I also got one roll that was over tightened when wound but was able to use it either way. Keep in mind this is two issues out of about 100 rolls now so a 98% hit rate is good for the money.

      I agree, in my conversations with them about it, they said this was a one off. A few cases of filament later no issues here, I think they are a solid choice for budget filament. Good quality control and customer service.

    • @vgshobbies-socialiteworkshop
      @vgshobbies-socialiteworkshop 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      STL and instructions. They discontinued selling the hardware. I had the same question and I asked on the website. A few days later he confirmed what I just said. It wasn't to hard to source the materials. I would order extras just in case and don't be afraid to use different types of heads like Philips instead of square. Just need the right size and type.

    • @vgshobbies-socialiteworkshop
      @vgshobbies-socialiteworkshop 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Go to elegoo's website, click on support, go to firmware and find your printer. Download and unzip file. Load the whole folder onto the thumb drive that came with printer. Then, save the tft file that you downloaded onto the memory card that came with printer. With printer turned off plug in thumb drive into printer and power on. Should boot up and download firmware. You will now need to turn off printer again remove back panel from your printers screen and plug in memory card. Power on let it update. When complete then power down and remove memory car and replace back panel. Good to go. Level bed and enjoy.
