    Fyi to all you Jeep jl and jt owners or there (at least until MY 2023, i can speak on the 2024 it later vehicles) the PAC Amp Pro module works on the non factory amplified vehicles, there is a do switch you adjust to indicate what you have).
    I am very pleased with this product. And it was a breeze to install myself.

I have a Jl audio xd400/4 to power my mids and highs and I’m using the amp pro kit. I need some guidance on making my high sound extra crispy. What frequency should I set my amp pro to?

    So I have a question.. I have a Bose system in my 2007 Chevy Suburban. I want to add 2 6k crescendo amplifiers, and a JP234. The thing is I want to retain my factory system so when my GF and Daughter use the truck they don't have to mess with the rest of my system. I'm adding 4 15" Resilient sound onyx subs, 4 titanium tweeters, and 4 8" mids. I want to run a switch to Turn off my LC7I Pro so the added equipment doesn't run. What would I need to tie my LC7I Pro into my Bose system?

      If course “the company” would they are like $400
      Go with lc2i or lc7i
      Cars are made so fn cheap these days in all honesty you’ll have to upgrade everything to get “good sound” but then road noise just screws you’
      If just adding a sub just go with a cheap loc don’t spend $200 +

    Thanks for this. The bass roll off on the GM Bose system is brutal it just kills the low end output as volume increases. If you tap the factory amp while adding a subwoofer your wasting your time. It would be great if you guys could show that EQ in action, IE: play some pink noise on the GM Bose system and watch as the bass just disappears. Just the fact that you don’t have to cut any wires makes these OEM low level adapters worth the extra $$$

      That would cost the manufacturers more money. It may only be cents, possibly a dollar or two per car, but when you consider scale that to the millions on vehicle they produce, you can see where I'm going.
      But yes, I do agree that it would be nice.

    Thanks for video cool stuff metro makes one like this also when I asked them a simple question they had no idea what I was asking so I’ll ask you when you plug that amp pro in since it’s between radio and factory amp does it require you to buy a amp for every single channel in other words does it turn off the pen signals tweeters mid center I have 10 channel pen system all I want is a subwoofer out if I use this will it shut all other channels off meaning can I install this keep all my own sound on and just use the subwoofer pre out on the amp pro?

    • @mopard2565
      @mopard2565 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The whole point of the Amp Pro is to not only convert the output of your high level from your radio to Low Level , but to do it without introducing noise and give a flat frequency response to the converted output. Then you can feed that signal (front , rear , sub) to the Aftermarket Amp of your choice.

    • @carlosreset7501
      @carlosreset7501 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mopard2565 i understand amp pros and hi to low level converters. I was asking a general question about hi and low level signals. The ktp 445a only has hi level input but i was trying to do something for a customer where i could use active processing to filter the channels. The original 445 had a hi and low level gain switch, but not the new version. The 445u actually uses the same input wires by cutting off the rca ends to use speaker level input, but then you have to switch to speaker level input. What does the switch actually do for the signal? The guy already said he'll buy a new amp, but it made me wonder what actually is the difference with the signal. Thanks

I have gone from under the glovebox to the rear on both driver and passenger side with 4 sets for cables (from cheaper monoprice to the $200 stinger 9000 ones). The AmpPRO in my '16 Charger isn't putting out a full signal. All channels are still crossed over with the factory outputs (lows to doors and mids to rear deck). PAC customer service has gone over my entire setup with me on the phone (for hours) including receiving remote access to my laptop to look at my JL Audio Twk 88 settings. Thay can not explain why I am having this issue.
