Hey mate I just wanted to say thank you! I followed Lian li instructions but they really don’t take into account AIO connections with other sl fans. Once I changed stuff around to your direction, viola! I will say for others that are still struggling, I had the splitter connected from the AIO pump to the fan chain and only had RGB on a few fans and no fan control in L connect. Once I removed that connection and just had the rgb cable from the pump to the fan hub and ran the other cable provided to the hub it all worked. FYI my setup is: Lian li Galahad infinity II (fans replaced with SL v2) and 5 other SL2 v2 fans. 6 fans chained to port 1 and 2 exhaust fans linked to port 2. Hope this helps someone 👍🏽
More to my comment, the fans again stopped working. Upon further inspection, the fan hub micro usb/usb header cable from the fan hub seems to be the issue why the fans either don’t show up on L connect or continuously drop out/lose rpm sensor etc etc. I have managed to place the hub in a position it’s happy for now but highly recommend people purchase a micro usb to usb header cable as I’ve read several people have this same issue. Great video, and thanks for all you do. After doing a lot of trial and error of installing this I noticed a few things. You don’t need to connect the pump to the fan controller. The pump has a internal controller that already works with L-connect via the USB 2.0 header. (If you run out of USB 2.0 headers get the NZXT sata powered 2.0 header expansion). The cable you connected from pump to fan hub is supposed to connect directly to motherboard to control RGB via mother board software if you choose too. It’s not entirely needed. The small adaptor cable you used to plug it into fan hub (360mm GA ll SL-inf comes with 3 of them, mine did) is to connect single pack(s) SL-INF fans to the fan controller that comes with pump.

I am getting a 360 one soon for what will be literally my first pc build and am excited about it, your video did a great job explaining how to install it which was what i was mildly confused about how to connect the wires by reading the manual. (build will be in a Lancool 216). Now on to a tangent: why do the 3 pack infinity fans use a totally different connector than the single packs and the aio fans, in what way does that make any sense at all, it would have made sense if they updated all the cables for all their offerings but no if you wanted to use the Galahad infinity with the 3-pack fans your best best bet is to buy an extra set of fans to use instead of perfectly good fans included just to avoid the hassle of a second lian li fan hub, it just really does not make any sense to me, as for the singular fans i suppose it could have been worse if an adapter wasn't included at all but they should have just been compatible outright instead of having literally 3 types of connectors; 1 of which (3-pack) is completely incompatible with the other 2 however one of those 2 needs an adapter to talk to the other one (single needs adapt for AIO), just why? Anyhow sorry for the rant, good video and thanks for helping me understand what I will need to do. (in case anyone is wondering the AIO includes 3 adapter cables which now that I am thinking about it, is exactly enough to fill out the hub so i guess that makes more sense now but that does not excuse the different connector for the 3-pack fans though)
Tbh I was thinking the same thing and am thinking about getting the AIO. Just to confirm the AIO comes with adapters to work with the 3 pack Fan Hub with its different connectors?
Love your videos! Question. Here is my set up: Galahad II Trinity pump 2 uni fans on radiator 3 uni fans bottom 3 uni fans top 1 uni fan rear With this set up is it possible to connect everything to one l-connect controller? I don't need to run anything through the motherboard, only l-connect. I've also seen that the galahad II comes with its own controller which is different than the controller that comes with the uni fan 3 pack. Which one would be more preferable to use?
I sure hope you’ve got your answer by now but for those who are wondering the same thing - definitely use the one that comes with the three pack if your lacking enough headers for all your fans on the l-connect hub that comes with the AIO. Happy to explain why if needed.
@@IISenjuHashiramaII This was so helpful. So the AIO does provide you with a hub for its cables, BUT you CAN run the AIO through an older hub (i.e. the UNI FAN hub) after which it should be connected to the motherboard via an internal USB 2.0 header, is that correct, hokage sama?
@@TheMdhennis Yeah, he never replied to me, so I'll just do my best to reply to you. As you do get a controller for the AIO, there's no point in not using it. Lian Li can't expect you to buy a different one for the infinity fans included, so it'll definitely WORK putting the fans in that one. That being said, I do think the AIO hub has a lot fewer ports for fans if you were to plug in more. Case fans or the like. You're probably meant to buy at least one three-pack as well and then hook all other case fans (provided they're the same model as the AIO ones) up to that one.
Glad to see than this AIO fits in side position even with the front fans bracket. Im actually fucked by my Artic freezer II which is 66mm thick and btw doesnt fit. Will buy the Trinity II soon, thanks to you !
sadly, what every tutorial seems to not cover properly is the distinction between the connection to motherboard sync and L-Connect sync with the controller
Thank you for the video. Very helpful. One thing I'm confused about still. If I'm leaving out the controller (my case is too small) I can hook up directly. There are two wires from the fan radiator assembly. One wire is obviously a fan controller. But what is the other one? It looks beefier like it eats power. It has, for its size, two chunky wings, three holes, and three wire leads. It does not look like an LED, but the RGBs are not lighting up. Any guess where I can plug it? I'm using an ITX board so I will probably need to craft some workaround.
Two different motherboards were used in this demo: one with error code display and one without ! So, both the controller and the pump have to be connected to USB2 headers in order to be recognized by Lian Li's L-Connect 3 software? If I have tripple packs of old SL INF fans with their own controller - should I ditch it and connect old fans to the new controller of Galahad? If I buy four additional Reverse fans (for O11 Dynamic EVO case) how do I daisy chain them and mix them with old SL INF fans? How do I connect them to that new, Galahad's controller? Seems to me that some more vides are needed to demistitfy all the possibilities when using old and new SL INF fans with Galahad 2 Trinity SL INF AIO cooler ! This video is a great appetizer !
In the video about 03:50 you mention options for if you run out of motherboard USB headers....but I can't see anything in either the description or pinned comment? 😅
I connected the pump to the motherboard via usb and the fans to the infinity fan controller via usb from the 3 pack. Everything seems to be working perfectly fine without needing the pump control box. Would it be better to have each on its own separate controller or is it okay as is? My board only has two USB headers. Everything works in Lconnect including quick sync
oh the cooler comes with the controller? saves me having to purchase another set with a controller then. which is great, because I want to use the reverse fans for my 5 intake fans, and other then the cooler, I'd only have one other 'regular' fan, and I can only find the controller with sets of 3 regular fans.
Yeah nice video and all but my box didn't come with a RGB control box nor do the instructions specify what to do with the connections without one. I'm new to the PC build world but my lord is there no videos that assume you don't have one.
I found the Galahad 2 copper plate was very convex. It needed a lot of attention and sanding/lapping to get it flat. This is with a 12900KS, (IHS lapped) and a contact frame.
What happens if you plugs the connections to the cooler with the arrows down? If you look closely at the plug and socket it seems like the arrows should be facing the other way

I commented on your other video and after watching this one im more confused lol, on their website and on the suppliers site where i just bought mine it says the pump can act as hub for rgb devices, on their site it says you can plug an ARGB device into the pump in order to control it via the L3 software, but in the video you went from the pump into the controller, im so confused >.< plz send help XD EDIT: in the case that you can use the pump as a hub for rgb via lconnect then you can just plug the daisy chained fans into a pump header and the rgb into the pump head without the need for the black hub, the pump uses the usb to motherboard connection to enable L3 software
Hi Prawn! I've just built my first pc, and something i ran into along the way I could really use your input on. My motherboard has only 2 USB connections. however I need 3 in total, 1 for my strimmer control box, 1 for my SL INF tipple pack control box, and 1 for my Galahad Trinity II 360 (USB required to control the RGB in L connect.) I've bought a NZXT USB hub but none of the devices I plug into the hub are being found by L Connect. Have you been able to successfully control Lian Li products in the L connect app while going through the NZXT hub? If so, this would really help me to narrow down that I have a faulty part somewhere, and be able to continue my troubleshooting. If you haven't had success with the NZXT hub, my next idea was to just take the L and plug one of the products in to sync with the motherboard. However when I plug any of the products in to the motherboard using an ARGB 3 pin header, they aren't being found in my motherboards software (MSI mystic light.) Also a video going over some of these various connections could possibly be an idea for the future. :D I know this is an older vid, so tyvm if you happen to respond to this. It's much appreciated
I'm redoing my PC with this AIO and triple packs of Lian Li fans. It seems like the AIO comes with a different controller than the one the fans come with. Which one should I use and how, since they both have different connections?
i have bought lian li infinity fans and im planning on buying this cooler, but can i just plug the cooler in my existing hub i have with the included adapter cables from my fans? i ask it because i only have 2 usb ports and then can do everything with only one controller. But my fan controller from lian li has different plugs (much wider) and my question is can i plug this cooler in my usb hub i already use with the adapter cables that came with my fans.
I don't understand isn't the pump goin to be connected to the "cpu fan2" on mobo? How will the controller know which fans are the fans from the radiator? Unless it controls all of them together but that will be more noisy if you have more fans in your case. In my opinion, as I understand it the case fans should follow the gpu temp/curve and the cpu fans(radiator fans) should follow the cpu temp. Am i missing something?
Hi Provoked Prawn- Loved the video you mentioned a solution if out of usb mobo headers ? I’m building with a z790itx board and so can either plug the usb from the pump in, or from the connecter box with its additional cable. The radiator fans are plugged into the mobo cpu fan header so that the motherboard doesn’t error. And the pump is plugged directly to aio header. If the pumps usb cable is plugged into the mobo I get rgb to it only and the fans run without rgb. If I plug in the adapter cable from the little outlet box to the mobo all the case fans have rgb but the actual aio cooler does not. I tried a USB splitter that came with the motherboard but it did not work. Likewise the little 6 pin on the aio to the connector box via 3 pin adapter made no difference. My motherboard the Asus z790 itx only has a 4pin rgb not 3 and so I’m trying to do all via the lian li connector box. However the 1 mobo usb is meaning I can only use rgb on the fans or the aio cooler head. As someone who’s clearly very familiar with this setup- do you have any suggestions ? You mentioned in the video you had a solution for if not enough usb ports but I cannot see it below ? Thanks :)

Does the cooler come with the hub itself or must I buy a 3-pack of Infinity fans to be able to connect it through L-Connect? Also - if I were to choose using standard Uni Fan SLV2s over Infinity fans, would the AIO still be operable through the older Uni Fan hub controller, or does it only run through the Infinity version of the hub? :) Many thanks in advance!

Purchased the GA11 Trinity 240 Question regarding PWR I have connected to the CPU 4 pin? The usb header, SATA Connection are installed. I am experiencing a DRAM problem with yellow diagnostic light and inability to install two channels of DDR 5. Connected to CPU 4 pin in the belief that the bios will not boot unless a connection is made for controlling temp of AMD 77000 CPU.
I have the Lian Li Galahad II Trinity 240mm the difference is my doesn’t have the SL at the end and it didn’t came with the black Controller box. I’m not sure if I did everything correct because my Ryzen 7700X runs around 84’ to 94’ Celsius. I’m new to pc building and gaming but I don’t think this is normal. I don’t know if it’s because of my wiring set up or not enough thermal paste despite me following the instructions as best as possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also at 4:35 there is a tiny port located in the upper right hand corner of the pump. With my set up I have a wire connected to that port as per instructions but I noticed that there isn’t one in this set up. I am wondering what is it for if it’s not necessary.

Hello, I just installed Lian li Trinity 240 which didn't come with the Adapter. When I powered on the PC for the first time, the fans lit up and rotates, but the CPU head didn't light up. Am I doing something wrong?
My AIO came with 2 controllers you were able to plug both of your white leads into one side by side mine there isn't a 4 pin on the one that has the micro USB and 2 SATA cables instead I got 2 controllers and the second one has 3 and 4 pins only on it I don't see the manual showing 2 just one how do I connect the 2 controllers together any help is valued!
Can't find the info in the description regarding running out of usb connections on the mobo. I assume it's a hub but some are reporting issues in the comments.

Hi, if the AIO fans is connected both PWM and ARBB to the dual port from the pump.. How do you control the RGB from the L3 since it's a closed loop connection and no ARB connected to the unihub

@ I double checked actually and I followed your guide. I also like to point out that you do such a fantastic job truly thank you so much! Back to the topic, I followed your guide and plugged everything with lian controller and motherboard. So basically the pump light turns on for a split second then it goes off, but the rest of the fan lights work fine. I think the pump isn’t working or the motherboard isn’t recognizing it maybe? Not sure what it could be, I haven’t gotten into bios yet since I’m still waiting for my gpu but my cpu has an integrated one. Could maybe be the motherboard? I also plugged the one of the plugs into the pump fan that are attached to the pump itself
How did you end up connecting the rest of your fans? Were you able to connect them all to the controller that came with the AIO? Or do you need to use an additional controller that comes with the 3 pack?
I used just the original triple pack controller on its own to connect the entire system. But you could use the converter cables included in the box and connect them to the ports on the included one.

i bought this over the weekend (except the LCD 280) at micro center and the box didn't come with "n" cable as it's called in the instructions...it is the split cable that plugs into the argb fans...i went back to micro center and they opened up 4 boxes and all of them were missing the cable...does anyone know if i can I can order that cable or a pack that has that cable in it? if not i am going to be really upset...i believe the actual cable is the PWM and ARGB to Lian Li Uni Fan SL Infinity 7 Pin Adapter Cable...if anyone has any suggestions on this i would really appreciate it thank you!!!
I can’t seem to get the Pump Rgb to be controllable. I’ve plugged the cable with the arrow into the extender cable that goes into the Lian li hub. But the aio won’t show up in l connect

Connect them all to the hub that came in the 3 pack. Discard fan hub that came with AIO. Newer/more reliable controller than the one that comes with pump(has 2 sata cables and different connectors). 3 pack controller should come with a few cables, use one of the few to swap with the daisy chained fans that come pre installed on the radiator. As long as the pump is connected to USB 2.0 header you can control it through L-connect. The other cable that attaches to pump (the one he used to plug into fan hub) isn’t needed. The pump has a internal controller that works with l-connect via usb 2.0 header. That cable is only if you want to control pump RGB with your motherboard software via 5v rgb port on motherboard.

@TheProvokedPrawn So I’m planning a build with 10 sl inf fans (3 bottom, 3 up Aio, 1 at the back and 3 on the side. I bought 3 reverse fans for the bottom (one pack), 1 single normal fan, and also the Galahad 360 Aio, which comes with a controller. If I want to control the rgb on the Aio via L-connect, I have to to plug it into the controller. Which leaves me with only 3 slots left, when I need 4 just for those 10 fans. Is it possible to hook that one single back fan to whichever group of 3 fans, if so which Lian Li cable do I need for it.

i got the Lian-Li Galahad II 360 Trinity SL-Inf, i plugged all the cables in but my pump doesnt pop up in the L connect so i cannot change that colour only the fan ones, anyone know how to fix this?
@@EliteNemisis08 @erasmoestrada4260 I remember looking and finding that you can purchase the hub part separately on the internet. It was like $20 tho. Annoying. What I ended up doing was just using the hubs that came with the lian li fans I got extra of. They don’t have all the ports like the one in this video but they have half of them. So I wired as many of my fans that could fit into it and the rest directly to my motherboard. That left two fans that were not gonna be connected to anything for the RGB, but it worked out because I faced those ones out the back so that it doesn’t matter if they’re lighting up or not!! Don’t give up 🩵

I am planning to buy the Lian li Galahad 2 trinity Infinity, meaning that I will get the AIO controller. I also want to get the reverse fans for intake, and since the AIO already comes with 3 exhaust fans, I will need 6 intake fans (inifnity) and 1 exhaust (also infinity), meaning I will need to buy the rest with single packs, hence I won't get a Lian li infinity controller. What do you think is the best way to handle this situation? Im thinking maybe I can connect the other 3 sets of fans and connect it to the controller that comes with the AIO? please help

I learnt from my recent research that you can plug the single infinity fans into the controller that comes with the AIO. So it should be possible (in my logic) to daisy chain the single reverse fans and connect them to the controller without having to buy the triple pack for the other controller.
Would you help me? I don't have enough usb outputs on my motherboard so I couldn't connect the pump's usb, so I can't even turn on its RGB, is there anything I can do to solve it?
I also want to get the 360mm version but my motherboard (MSI b450 a pro max) doesn't have any 5V 3Pin RGB header. Is there anything I can do as a workaround?
Im failing so hard right now. 9 infinity fans to a controller. Ga ii cooler. Pump and 2 fans on the radiator work. Nothing else works, 7 other lights, 2 triples and a single, nothing. Just spent a entire night frustrated. Hate this build right now.
@bronsonwhite6487 I'm all hooked up now. 9 SL INFs with the controller and wiring from the 3 packs. I did not have a INF pump so I put inf fans on my pump.
It is really a shame that you cant buy the sl inf controller stand alone and it only comes in 3pack regular fanblade design. When you dont need 3 regular fans like me and need reverse blade design fans, u are screwed... thanks lian li that you dont give a sht

I will say for others that are still struggling, I had the splitter connected from the AIO pump to the fan chain and only had RGB on a few fans and no fan control in L connect.
Once I removed that connection and just had the rgb cable from the pump to the fan hub and ran the other cable provided to the hub it all worked.
FYI my setup is: Lian li Galahad infinity II (fans replaced with SL v2) and 5 other SL2 v2 fans. 6 fans chained to port 1 and 2 exhaust fans linked to port 2. Hope this helps someone 👍🏽
More to my comment, the fans again stopped working. Upon further inspection, the fan hub micro usb/usb header cable from the fan hub seems to be the issue why the fans either don’t show up on L connect or continuously drop out/lose rpm sensor etc etc. I have managed to place the hub in a position it’s happy for now but highly recommend people purchase a micro usb to usb header cable as I’ve read several people have this same issue. Great video, and thanks for all you do. After doing a lot of trial and error of installing this I noticed a few things. You don’t need to connect the pump to the fan controller. The pump has a internal controller that already works with L-connect via the USB 2.0 header. (If you run out of USB 2.0 headers get the NZXT sata powered 2.0 header expansion). The cable you connected from pump to fan hub is supposed to connect directly to motherboard to control RGB via mother board software if you choose too. It’s not entirely needed. The small adaptor cable you used to plug it into fan hub (360mm GA ll SL-inf comes with 3 of them, mine did) is to connect single pack(s) SL-INF fans to the fan controller that comes with pump.

I am getting a 360 one soon for what will be literally my first pc build and am excited about it, your video did a great job explaining how to install it which was what i was mildly confused about how to connect the wires by reading the manual. (build will be in a Lancool 216).
Now on to a tangent: why do the 3 pack infinity fans use a totally different connector than the single packs and the aio fans, in what way does that make any sense at all, it would have made sense if they updated all the cables for all their offerings but no if you wanted to use the Galahad infinity with the 3-pack fans your best best bet is to buy an extra set of fans to use instead of perfectly good fans included just to avoid the hassle of a second lian li fan hub, it just really does not make any sense to me, as for the singular fans i suppose it could have been worse if an adapter wasn't included at all but they should have just been compatible outright instead of having literally 3 types of connectors; 1 of which (3-pack) is completely incompatible with the other 2 however one of those 2 needs an adapter to talk to the other one (single needs adapt for AIO), just why?
Anyhow sorry for the rant, good video and thanks for helping me understand what I will need to do.
(in case anyone is wondering the AIO includes 3 adapter cables which now that I am thinking about it, is exactly enough to fill out the hub so i guess that makes more sense now but that does not excuse the different connector for the 3-pack fans though)

I sure hope you’ve got your answer by now but for those who are wondering the same thing - definitely use the one that comes with the three pack if your lacking enough headers for all your fans on the l-connect hub that comes with the AIO. Happy to explain why if needed.

As you do get a controller for the AIO, there's no point in not using it.
Lian Li can't expect you to buy a different one for the infinity fans included, so it'll definitely WORK putting the fans in that one.
That being said, I do think the AIO hub has a lot fewer ports for fans if you were to plug in more. Case fans or the like.
You're probably meant to buy at least one three-pack as well and then hook all other case fans (provided they're the same model as the AIO ones) up to that one.

Does this cooler have a coolant temperature sensor like the Corsair aio’s? I really like setting the fan curve for the aio fans based on coolant temp.
Its not indicated on the outside of the unit i believe you have to go into your app and look at the temps
sadly, what every tutorial seems to not cover properly is the distinction between the connection to motherboard sync and L-Connect sync with the controller
Thank you for the video. Very helpful. One thing I'm confused about still. If I'm leaving out the controller (my case is too small) I can hook up directly. There are two wires from the fan radiator assembly. One wire is obviously a fan controller. But what is the other one? It looks beefier like it eats power. It has, for its size, two chunky wings, three holes, and three wire leads. It does not look like an LED, but the RGBs are not lighting up. Any guess where I can plug it? I'm using an ITX board so I will probably need to craft some workaround.

Seems to me that some more vides are needed to demistitfy all the possibilities when using old and new SL INF fans with Galahad 2 Trinity SL INF AIO cooler ! This video is a great appetizer !

I connected the pump to the motherboard via usb and the fans to the infinity fan controller via usb from the 3 pack. Everything seems to be working perfectly fine without needing the pump control box. Would it be better to have each on its own separate controller or is it okay as is? My board only has two USB headers. Everything works in Lconnect including quick sync

oh the cooler comes with the controller? saves me having to purchase another set with a controller then. which is great, because I want to use the reverse fans for my 5 intake fans, and other then the cooler, I'd only have one other 'regular' fan, and I can only find the controller with sets of 3 regular fans.
Yeah nice video and all but my box didn't come with a RGB control box nor do the instructions specify what to do with the connections without one. I'm new to the PC build world but my lord is there no videos that assume you don't have one.
I found the Galahad 2 copper plate was very convex. It needed a lot of attention and sanding/lapping to get it flat. This is with a 12900KS, (IHS lapped) and a contact frame.
What happens if you plugs the connections to the cooler with the arrows down? If you look closely at the plug and socket it seems like the arrows should be facing the other way

You'd have to use the motherboard sync option and your motherboard RGB software

I commented on your other video and after watching this one im more confused lol, on their website and on the suppliers site where i just bought mine it says the pump can act as hub for rgb devices, on their site it says you can plug an ARGB device into the pump in order to control it via the L3 software, but in the video you went from the pump into the controller, im so confused >.< plz send help XD

in the case that you can use the pump as a hub for rgb via lconnect then you can just plug the daisy chained fans into a pump header and the rgb into the pump head without the need for the black hub, the pump uses the usb to motherboard connection to enable L3 software
Hi Prawn! I've just built my first pc, and something i ran into along the way I could really use your input on.
My motherboard has only 2 USB connections. however I need 3 in total, 1 for my strimmer control box, 1 for my SL INF tipple pack control box, and 1 for my Galahad Trinity II 360 (USB required to control the RGB in L connect.)
I've bought a NZXT USB hub but none of the devices I plug into the hub are being found by L Connect. Have you been able to successfully control Lian Li products in the L connect app while going through the NZXT hub? If so, this would really help me to narrow down that I have a faulty part somewhere, and be able to continue my troubleshooting.
If you haven't had success with the NZXT hub, my next idea was to just take the L and plug one of the products in to sync with the motherboard. However when I plug any of the products in to the motherboard using an ARGB 3 pin header, they aren't being found in my motherboards software (MSI mystic light.)
Also a video going over some of these various connections could possibly be an idea for the future. :D

i have bought lian li infinity fans and im planning on buying this cooler, but can i just plug the cooler in my existing hub i have with the included adapter cables from my fans? i ask it because i only have 2 usb ports and then can do everything with only one controller. But my fan controller from lian li has different plugs (much wider) and my question is can i plug this cooler in my usb hub i already use with the adapter cables that came with my fans.

I don't understand isn't the pump goin to be connected to the "cpu fan2" on mobo? How will the controller know which fans are the fans from the radiator? Unless it controls all of them together but that will be more noisy if you have more fans in your case. In my opinion, as I understand it the case fans should follow the gpu temp/curve and the cpu fans(radiator fans) should follow the cpu temp.

I’m building with a z790itx board and so can either plug the usb from the pump in, or from the connecter box with its additional cable.
The radiator fans are plugged into the mobo cpu fan header so that the motherboard doesn’t error.
And the pump is plugged directly to aio header.
If the pumps usb cable is plugged into the mobo I get rgb to it only and the fans run without rgb.
If I plug in the adapter cable from the little outlet box to the mobo all the case fans have rgb but the actual aio cooler does not.
I tried a USB splitter that came with the motherboard but it did not work. Likewise the little 6 pin on the aio to the connector box via 3 pin adapter made no difference.
My motherboard the Asus z790 itx only has a 4pin rgb not 3 and so I’m trying to do all via the lian li connector box.
However the 1 mobo usb is meaning I can only use rgb on the fans or the aio cooler head.
As someone who’s clearly very familiar with this setup- do you have any suggestions ? You mentioned in the video you had a solution for if not enough usb ports but I cannot see it below ?

The cooler does come with a controller. I did show this I believe? But you can't mix fan versions with Lian Li controllers.

Purchased the GA11 Trinity 240 Question regarding PWR I have connected to the CPU 4 pin? The usb header, SATA Connection are installed. I am experiencing a DRAM problem with yellow diagnostic light and inability to install two channels of DDR 5. Connected to CPU 4 pin in the belief that the bios will not boot unless a connection is made for controlling temp of AMD 77000 CPU.
I have the Lian Li Galahad II Trinity 240mm the difference is my doesn’t have the SL at the end and it didn’t came with the black Controller box. I’m not sure if I did everything correct because my Ryzen 7700X runs around 84’ to 94’ Celsius. I’m new to pc building and gaming but I don’t think this is normal. I don’t know if it’s because of my wiring set up or not enough thermal paste despite me following the instructions as best as possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Also at 4:35 there is a tiny port located in the upper right hand corner of the pump. With my set up I have a wire connected to that port as per instructions but I noticed that there isn’t one in this set up. I am wondering what is it for if it’s not necessary.

Hello, I just installed Lian li Trinity 240 which didn't come with the Adapter. When I powered on the PC for the first time, the fans lit up and rotates, but the CPU head didn't light up.
Am I doing something wrong?
How do you have that many uni fans connected to 1 controller? Aren't there more than 4 groups?
one group is connected to the sync port of the standard controller, the rest are to the main ports.

My AIO came with 2 controllers you were able to plug both of your white leads into one side by side mine there isn't a 4 pin on the one that has the micro USB and 2 SATA cables instead I got 2 controllers and the second one has 3 and 4 pins only on it I don't see the manual showing 2 just one how do I connect the 2 controllers together any help is valued!
Can't find the info in the description regarding running out of usb connections on the mobo. I assume it's a hub but some are reporting issues in the comments.
Get NZXT usb 2.0 header hub. Requires sata power from PSU. No issues so far

Hi, if the AIO fans is connected both PWM and ARBB to the dual port from the pump.. How do you control the RGB from the L3 since it's a closed loop connection and no ARB connected to the unihub

Back to the topic, I followed your guide and plugged everything with lian controller and motherboard. So basically the pump light turns on for a split second then it goes off, but the rest of the fan lights work fine. I think the pump isn’t working or the motherboard isn’t recognizing it maybe? Not sure what it could be, I haven’t gotten into bios yet since I’m still waiting for my gpu but my cpu has an integrated one. Could maybe be the motherboard? I also plugged the one of the plugs into the pump fan that are attached to the pump itself
How did you end up connecting the rest of your fans? Were you able to connect them all to the controller that came with the AIO? Or do you need to use an additional controller that comes with the 3 pack?
I used just the original triple pack controller on its own to connect the entire system. But you could use the converter cables included in the box and connect them to the ports on the included one.

i bought this over the weekend (except the LCD 280) at micro center and the box didn't come with "n" cable as it's called in the instructions...it is the split cable that plugs into the argb fans...i went back to micro center and they opened up 4 boxes and all of them were missing the cable...does anyone know if i can I can order that cable or a pack that has that cable in it? if not i am going to be really upset...i believe the actual cable is the PWM and ARGB to Lian Li Uni Fan SL Infinity 7 Pin Adapter Cable...if anyone has any suggestions on this i would really appreciate it thank you!!!
I can’t seem to get the Pump Rgb to be controllable. I’ve plugged the cable with the arrow into the extender cable that goes into the Lian li hub. But the aio won’t show up in l connect

Connect them all to the hub that came in the 3 pack. Discard fan hub that came with AIO. Newer/more reliable controller than the one that comes with pump(has 2 sata cables and different connectors).
3 pack controller should come with a few cables, use one of the few to swap with the daisy chained fans that come pre installed on the radiator. As long as the pump is connected to USB 2.0 header you can control it through L-connect. The other cable that attaches to pump (the one he used to plug into fan hub) isn’t needed. The pump has a internal controller that works with l-connect via usb 2.0 header. That cable is only if you want to control pump RGB with your motherboard software via 5v rgb port on motherboard.
So what does the little cable that connects the pump to the controller do? Can I use that instead of the USB 2.0 cable from the pump?

@TheProvokedPrawn So I’m planning a build with 10 sl inf fans (3 bottom, 3 up Aio, 1 at the back and 3 on the side. I bought 3 reverse fans for the bottom (one pack), 1 single normal fan, and also the Galahad 360 Aio, which comes with a controller. If I want to control the rgb on the Aio via L-connect, I have to to plug it into the controller. Which leaves me with only 3 slots left, when I need 4 just for those 10 fans. Is it possible to hook that one single back fan to whichever group of 3 fans, if so which Lian Li cable do I need for it.

What I ended up doing was just using the hubs that came with the lian li fans I got extra of. They don’t have all the ports like the one in this video but they have half of them. So I wired as many of my fans that could fit into it and the rest directly to my motherboard. That left two fans that were not gonna be connected to anything for the RGB, but it worked out because I faced those ones out the back so that it doesn’t matter if they’re lighting up or not!! Don’t give up 🩵

I learnt from my recent research that you can plug the single infinity fans into the controller that comes with the AIO. So it should be possible (in my logic) to daisy chain the single reverse fans and connect them to the controller without having to buy the triple pack for the other controller.

I also want to get the 360mm version but my motherboard (MSI b450 a pro max) doesn't have any 5V 3Pin RGB header. Is there anything I can do as a workaround?

Im failing so hard right now. 9 infinity fans to a controller. Ga ii cooler. Pump and 2 fans on the radiator work. Nothing else works, 7 other lights, 2 triples and a single, nothing. Just spent a entire night frustrated. Hate this build right now.
Using the controller that came with pump or controller that came with 3 pack?
@bronsonwhite6487 I'm all hooked up now. 9 SL INFs with the controller and wiring from the 3 packs. I did not have a INF pump so I put inf fans on my pump.

It is really a shame that you cant buy the sl inf controller stand alone and it only comes in 3pack regular fanblade design. When you dont need 3 regular fans like me and need reverse blade design fans, u are screwed... thanks lian li that you dont give a sht
