Concur with the other requests in comments to see how well this AIO performs with SL INF fans instead of the Performance fans. It will be good to know if the performance is mainly due to the thicker radiator and pump or the fans play a significant role. Many users will probably want a full INF setup to synch the looks and replace the Performance fans. The question is how big a difference in performance will the AIO have if the default fans are replaced with: 1. 3x INF fans 120mm; 2. 6x INF fans push and pull.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Been searching the interweb's to find this comparison. Would be super awesome to also compare against the standard version with SL INF fans. Since I already have 3 SL-INF fans the price difference isn't too much and want to go with the best possible while keeping all the eye candy.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought each port is limited to 4 fans. I’m actually about to install 6 infinity fans with push/pull configuration this evening.
@@haies09 I've had no issues with mine as the pump noise is like with any other AIO. The only time I may actually hear the pump is when I have all my case and rad fans turned off when I'm doing light computer work.
PLEASE HELP ! Since app. 2 years I am running an O11 Dynamic XL Case (not EVO), and using YOUR Push/Pull Setup on the back side for intake. All Fans are Corsairs and the AiO is a NZXT. I would love to swap to a complete LianLi Setup with Infinity Fans and Reverse Infinity Fans, together with the Galahad Performance AiO. MY PROBLEM ! - The performance Galahad has a thicker Radiator (+5mm) and thicker fans (+3mm) which would both be mounted in the back, but I dont think this +8mm more thickness would be possible to fit in the case. As you have the most knowledge about all the LianLi products, I rly hope you could tell me if its possible or not (before I order something). Thx in advance for your help and keep up your aweseome work - great video as allways !
great video! This is one of the videos that convinced me to get this AIO. In my case though, l-connect 3 doesnt show my AIO (i have the sata connected , its the only sata power needing device, i have the USB into one of the USB 2 headers (wasn't using any), and have the pump in my AIO_PUMP header. The fans on the radiator are on the CPU_FAN to avoid the bios complaining about low rpm on cpu fan). My pump in the bios shows N/A and as mentioned, l-connect 3 (v1.6.30) shows just system info and settings, i dont see anything like yours. I dont care about the RGB but i'd like to see the pump details and such , any ideas?
Don't know if you've fixed this yet, but you don't need the AIO_PUMP connection at all. Connect the fixed wiring from the pump to CPU_FAN. The radiator fans connect to the Y splitter which plugs into the pump body, so the fans and their RGB are supplied by the pump.
My galahad 2 trinity performance pump made a loud rattling noise after 1 Month of use and failed completly 1 day later. The price and the cooling performance is really good tho.
Hey. I have this AIO cooler and the same case but I have the mini version of the case. The cooler can only be installed at the bottom with an ATX motherboard. Would you recommend reversing the fans to pull through the radiator and have my Lian Li UNI P28 3 pack mounted at the too, push the air out?
Do you think i would lose cooling performance if i were to use the 3 performance fans with the 3 sl 120 fans together for push pull vs keeping the the aio in its base configuration? Thanks for the video!
Thanks for joining the channel. I wouldn't mix and match fans on the rad. The RPM and other specs of the two fans will be so different it wouldn't be optimal.
I am thinking the same thing, but the main reason is because I do not know how this AIO will fare if the default fans are replaced. If the INF fans perform near as well, then a single push config replacement can be enough. Otherwise, maybe a push and pull with INF fans.
Still havnt seen anyone make a benchmarks video for this aio and the sl-inf version yet which is annoying. Idk how good this is compared to something like an arctic freezer 2 or the somwhat new Ek Lux D nucleus aio.
Can this AIO use 140mm fans instead of 120mm? I plan to do a push/pull configuration with 140mm fans. I wonder if that is possible without using a bracket.
Should the pump lighting turn on after connecting the pumps 5V ARGB connection to either motherboard or Hub controller's SM port?
