thats really some impressive drive skills with a PT cruiser i own one after my Dad passed away and for this reason alone i love it .. i been a taxi driver and limousine driver for 22 years + but i would not dare even go near that speed with my Cruiser
When the lap started I was wondering if you were even driving the car near its limits. Well, after about a minute or so, it was easy to tell the tires were begging for mercy. So, that answered that question.

Why do some people keep pretending the PT Cruiser is a bad car (or light truck)? It is not high performance by any stretch, but it is essentially the US equivalant of a VW Beetle. It is cheap, sturdy, reliable, and practical, with quirky styling.
I think it's the quirky styling, and eventually the fact that most owners are not "cool". nevertheless, I am appreciating the strong points of the car, which you mentioned. Not sure about sturdy, since this car seems to have few issues, but truth be told it keeps on going!
Oh Chrysler.... Its ALMOST Good. 😂 You did a fantastic job holding together in the corners. The PT is the ONLY car that I could swing around and do 360's in...Even when I never wanted to. 😉

Hi Mikael! Every lap I drive is the best lap I can drive in that situation. I had just bought the car and drove it on track straight, what you see is the very first lap so there is some margin especially at the beginning.

Hi There! We were also a bit surprised. We have no idea whats wrong with the car, at the end of the lap the air filter was not fastened anymore and I believe both wheel bearing front are shot to bits. Still, the car has now driven 8000kms and its still trucking. Not even checked tire pressure or put the car on the lift since I got it.

Why I think a PT Cruiser can be a crazy sleeper car? What's the largest cc engine thar the engine bay can fit? By the end of the lap, you can here something like ticking (taping?)...
PT could come with the 2.5t from the srt4 neon. Same suspension just different wrapper. Only difference is a quieter exhaust so didn't make the 240hp 260 torque of the srt.
Hi Ragna! I don't know why you are sick like that, if this was your question :D Problem is that the engine bay is a nightmare space wise so it's not easy to swap etc. The Turbo car has some legit performance potential with 250bph. But not this version

Then maybe 1" bigger wheels, a more "open" air filter (since the one on it isn't on anymore) and a titanium exhaust, facing to the side.
Hi Daniel! It's a lot slower, much uglier, burns a lot more fuel. The steering self centers and feels quite ok tho, it's spacious and it costed 2400E. :D

I own a pt cruiser and it's a keeper!! You can get one for 2000$ between 110 to 150 thousand miles.I really like the body of the car it drives great and fits in pretty much any tight spot. I think people just give it a bad name. Buy one and drive it before you post a video about it being the worst car ever? The passenger seat flips over also and basically gives me a table to eat or work on😊

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, we discussed with Kostas that you have to admire the fact that there is nothing "off shelf" on it, everything is designed and bespoke, which is fantastic. It also drives on track quite ok to be honest! This model has few issues I believe but 8000kms in it's still going strong!
Ray... WE DID BUY ONE! Then we made a video. Actually two. And a few more are coming. We highly recommend you watch them! Much better fun than just looking at the thumbnail and then commenting straight thinking we are just bashing the car.

The tapping noise was maybe the AirBox that came lose and was flying around in the engine bay
