This is my hair and style exactly... and I’ve been cutting it myself for years but... frankly didn’t really know what I was doing. I did it by feel which took time and was hit or miss. So THANK YOU! BTW: One model who has a good example of this is Tommy Dunn. He is originally where I saw this style and proof positive that you don’t need to be a mannequin to get the hair nailed. My hair is naturally thick and wavy.... seems to work out well with just a little bit of texturizing spray. It’s a VERY easy style to maintain and can be put up in a bun, or styled back or to the side with a wet look for versatility.

It's funny if you think about the fact that some people are trying to grow out their hair and are complaining about "the awkward stage", while others are getting haircuts that would be considered "awkward" by these people. For me that awkward stage doesn't exist. 😂

For me exsist.......Because i feel like i am having a mullet in the back.......Or the hair looks flat, without direction..........And cut it sometimes.........But now i have using hats and nows its ok....i think it needs another cut like that.....Looks like a mullet in the back....

gfrp trim the mullet, wash out your hair, and get some clay or use a hairdryer. Hair will be 10x better already.

I currently have a middle part where the ends of my hair reach the top of my ears and i have fairly thick hair, and i really want this hairstyle, but my hair growth in the back is very minimal. I've got this style. A good hair cut is key. I also spray in leave in conditioner when ever, then just sctuch it a bit with a towel or just my fingers, and then let dry on its own. ,

Dont go to a barber shop. Go to a hair stylist. They are more trained in cutting longer hair unlike barbers who do fades and tapers. Unless your know a barber who cuts longer hair styles
