It's safe to say there's a lot of information on your channel about hair, but do you have any advice on what to do with problem hair malfunctions like cowlicks? I have a right side clockwise cowlick and it makes styling and managing my hair a nightmare. I'd be thankful if you could offer a little professional advice.
I'm 54 years old and have long hair. My hair was long throughout my childhood in the 70s when most boys had long hair. I had short hair in the very early 80s but discovered a love of Heavy Metal and inadvertently started a Heavy Metal gang in school so by our junior year we all had long hair so you are right that it takes time to grow. A friend, who is a hair stylist told me that hair grows half an inch per month. In 1989 my kind of Metal became stagnant and I was in love with a beautiful girl from California so I cut my hair. A few years ago I was thinking about how i missed the long hair so I tried growing it long again. In March of last year my best friend's mother died so I cut my hair for the memorial service it was butchered but it grew back.
my hair is somewhat above my eyebrows right now. I used to have it all the way to to my nose. I don’t really know what to do with it but take care of it and let it grow out, since a bunch of hair styles don’t suit me.
I’ve already gone through this Long hair growth journey and recently went for a shorter hairstyle. The feeling I had after cutting it made me feel hella free
When I was young I didn’t care for my hair , but as I get older I should be very thankful for my genetics!! I naturally grow a full , thick head of hair . I have to get a cut every 4 weeks because my hair grows so fast .
I had long hair for about 3 years. Shaved it last summer and now regrowing it again lol. I wasn’t planning on growing it out again for a few years but COVID decided for me to grow it out again. It takes me less than a year to fully have a man bun. My hair grows crazy fast
i live in a ghetto town where every guy is rocking that taquache cut or waves, i don't think my barbers will be able to comprehend what a maintenance cut is...
looking back at this video after my hair was around 7-8 inches of length after 8 months of hair growth, after that i got convinced by one of my close friends to cut it, i definitely regret and miss my hair length but im growing it back out
I’m as such an awkward stage hahah But I finally partially put all my hair back in a ponytail tail except most the sides and I got a comment on it by someone saying I look like a samauri which is exactly what I was going for it made me smile so much and completely come here to look again and see everything I can do to take care of it and she gave me confidence to care a lot again haha cuz the awkward stage was killing me
You have the most contagious smile! 😁 This is the first time I’m ever growing out my hair... my last haircut was at the beginning of March. I hope to achieve long hair about shoulder length. Wish me luck! ❤️
Ive been wearing a baseball cap for 2 years and havent gotten a haircut in like 6 months. I need to get maybe 2 inches off and stop wearing hats so i can get some volume back. Youve convinced me to take care of my hair thanks
I really wanna try having longer hair , my school always tells me to cut it , which leads to my mom forcing me to cut it really short , but I don't know how long quarantine will last but I'll take advantage of it while I can!
There is phase where you can not give shape to your hair but also you can not tie it up. That middle length is the most dangerous part, when you pass that point the rest is easy. Most give up during in that middle length
tip: Don't dye it, especially if it requires bleaching I dyed my hair a while ago and wanted to grow it out, after the dye went away, the previously bleached hair is constantly dry and frizzy
You have perfect hair man. I can't grow my hair like that, i feel like it stopped growing after a certain point. Furthermore, my hair on sides above ears don't want to grow and it's frizzy and messy, so I can't slick it so smoothly :(
Haha I ended up growing my hair out in accident. My barber quit his job and moved and I was too lazy to find a new one. I then procrastinated for months and once it got to the awkward stage/length I was too poor to spend money on a haircut (thanks covid). It got to the point where it started looks kinda cool and I got curious, now I like it and i can easily put it in a bun/ponytail
Me too! I had this barber who closed her shop down and when I decided to cut it was like a week after she closed down! So I had like 4 month growth of hair and knowing the barbers were always booked too.. waited like 2 hours to get one and just left and been 6-7 months of hair growth and now I just decided to keep it long cuz it suits me good! I stand out from everybody considering my hair is black and long.. not long enough to put it in a bun not yet
Ok my question is... How do you get your hair to stay back at that the length at 1:30 without and hair products and without using a band or clips?? If my hair was that long it just falls forward onto my forehead.
Yea I Can Assure You Growing it takes Ages Ive been Growing it since November 2020 And were in November 2021 Now and right now my hair reaches till my mouth
I had a hair like your hair lenght and i was growing it for 9 or 10 months but the worst thing it's that it was dry in the back and sides zones but the front it was good and people like family or friends(not all) demotivated me to keep it bro they don't know the feeling that you surpass all the hurdles and you care so much for you hair so i cut it very medium(it's called medium but it's short for me Lol) and now im growing it again and it's 2 months ago 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Many people still ask me about it and I cut it almost 3 years ago.

I’ve started my journey with growing hair two weeks ago. I’ve cut all of them because I want to take picture of my face every day and create time-lapse afterwards, after I can tie my hair 😁 However, It’s not my first attempt. Awkward transitional period after 6 months of growing made me go back to my initial hairstyle and it was that...I hope I will last longer this try! Keep your fingers crossed 😁😁😁
Started growing my hair in October 2019, gonna see how long it can get until October 2020.

It's safe to say there's a lot of information on your channel about hair, but do you have any advice on what to do with problem hair malfunctions like cowlicks? I have a right side clockwise cowlick and it makes styling and managing my hair a nightmare. I'd be thankful if you could offer a little professional advice.
There is a video on his channel for this
@@srijeevroy5503 Ah right, thanks. I'll have a look.
Ed Dane You need to incrementally brush your hair in the direction you want each time you step out the shower and leave it to dry like that.
Ed Dane Or i’d just stop cutting that area so short.
I have the same cowlick!
I'm in the middle stage where I'm questioning everything but I noticed
we have the same face shape so that helps me be confident it'll be worth it!
Who is here after Lockdown...and trying to grow hair
I’ve been going for that Leo off centered part look and my hair is almost where I want it to be. I just need to actually practice styling it.
Same I’m super close, next step which will help styling it, is a middle part, it will train your hair to do it 👍
You really hit all those issues that I am facing now while growing my hair longer. Thanks for the tips.

There is phase where you can not give shape to your hair but also you can not tie it up. That middle length is the most dangerous part, when you pass that point the rest is easy. Most give up during in that middle length
Starting my hair growth journey, I guess, haha from today. Will be interesting to see how it looks as it goes along.

Try different conditioners/deep conditioners or a protein treatments(don’t use them to often).

does anyone know what the hairstyle at 1:54 is called?
Same, my barber had surgery and was out for 2 months, then money became tight, now it's month 7 and I just let it grow.
xxxtentacion - vice city on the background
i thought im the only one who realised :D
Ok my question is... How do you get your hair to stay back at that the length at 1:30 without and hair products and without using a band or clips??
If my hair was that long it just falls forward onto my forehead.
Just in time!👍🏻
Yea I Can Assure You Growing it takes Ages Ive been Growing it since November 2020 And were in November 2021 Now and right now my hair reaches till my mouth
