G-Shocks were the first watches that got me into watches when I was a kid. Glad to see them getting some love. The Master of G series as a whole could get it's own video. I'd also love to see some reviews on the higher end MT-G and MR-G models. Also, if we're talking Casio, the Oceanus series of watches really deserve attention. I'm really happy they're available in the US without needing to import them again.

My fiancée bought me the G-Shock GA-2100SRS-7AER Sun Reflect as a gift for this Christmas. It's the first G-Shock that I really like, that's why I wanted it and "as readable as a newspaper in a snowstorm" describes it perfectly.
Casio is such an underrated brand it's nice to see them getting more attention (and not just the F91). It's also nice to see Casio trying something different yet still keeping the prices somewhat affordable.

I find myself debating a few things after this video 1/Quality, 2/Time, and 3/Expense. Quality as I’ve not been a G-Shock convert, until now, but I think this video was so good, fun, with great throw back references I’m now left puzzling whether it’s your best yet :-) And that’s despite not being a G-Shock fan….before! Time, as not only was I glued to this video until the end, it’s promoted me to since spend more time looking at the entire range, including my two favourites from the video. The Tokyo purple and the Black and Gold. The former looks like it only goes at a premium on eBay now. What a pity. And lastly expense, as a result of your video, I’ve now purchased the black and gold, which I had no intention of doing beforehand!! I’m also contemplating the Tokyo as well if I can find one at less markup. Ironically I watched this video on the return leg of a work flight from Tokyo (which I love) to UK, so it got me when I was amenable. In the meantime I look forward to the black and gold which arrives in a few days. Great job. I really enjoyed this. You’ve converted me to appreciate GShock as well and I’ve purchase one. Loved this!

Haven't got a G.shock ,was thinking of buying one but I just don't like quartz watches, I suppose if I needed a hardy watch for work then I'd buy one but I don't so I'll stick with my automatics for the time being. Happy new year to you and all watch lovers the world over

Idk why but for me, the ani-digital G’s are so much cooler than the digital only models. I get it, the 5600’s are legendary and I have one myself for the gym. But the dials with hands are just so much more fun.

The translucent resin and color choices result in a watch that looks so 90s that it probably has a Geocities page and I love it so thanks Tom
So much fun. Tom wins with the initial KO blow, a watch inspired by 1980’s photochemical smog in Tokyo. But both of you gentlemen putted the gimme: the most recent Sailor Moon release kicks Mario’s little plumbing butt. Don’t sleep!
I guess I'm not cool. I like readability. Most negative displays are unreadable without backlight. Also if it has analog hands I want them easy to see. This is why my favorite gshocks in my collection are the cheapest square and the yellow solar octagon. Both are very readable

Some Sub-Zero watches there! I managed to grab a Mario Cart, which was launched here in Singapore this morning. Quite a stressful process that included the Casio website crashing and hanging for ages, but my patience paid off. Now how to explain it to my wife; I'll put it down to my ongoing midlife crisis...
I think, as much as I like the Tokyo Twilight G-Shock, it's far too expensive to be called 'cheap'. Other GMWB5000 and GWB5600 variants are around 1/3 the price though.
There must be a fine line between madness and being cool. Some serious watches there for the younger generations and the 2nd childhood middle aged men 👀

Great trip down G-Shock lane. I have my share and rotate them amongst my other mundane Rolex and Tag show pieces. I've also grabbed a few of the Ediface models and am looking at an Oceanus or two. How about sharing the Casio love on the Ediface line up?
I’ve never understood the appeal of the G-Shock let alone 10 of them. I honestly think people just say they like them to avoid not looking like watch snobs. I have no such pretense, as I am a watch snob.
for the price of them behing sold, they should have come with all metal case and not some cover to do the job it should have been done from factory to start with.

G Shock watches are literally the best. The more tech heavy tooly ones like Rangeman and Frogman, or the colorful more basic collab ones, all so cool.
The GA2100SRS-7A "Iridescent" is on my - Cool stuff I want for Christmas - list.
Finally I can see some love for tougher and more functions (ABS, solar, radio sync), chunkier Casio G-Shock.
