    Well, since you're from Louisiana [me too!] you can add a suggestion for making keto muffuletta's!!! You can make an OLIVE SALAD & keep it on hand in the fridge! Sometimes I just spoon some on a slice of meat & cheese & make a rollup!!! Sooooo good!!

    I am open to all foodie efforts….that u suggest. I make ur coleslaw, mashed veggies, almond pancakes(yum)…..etc. And the sweetener Swerve helps ‘the medicine go down’ as Mary Poppins says!! I put chocolate cacao powder in my almond flour pancakes(with Swerve)…..omg….tasted like brownies. I found the zero sugar maple syrup at Sprouts Market and at Publix. Am in heaven!!!

    l cook okra. To eliminate or minimize the sliminess l clean the stalk ends, wash the okra then cover and leave them for 5-8 mins in water infused with 1/2 a lemons juice. I then drain and add them to my pot cook them with onions and some tomatoes with cubbed chunks of meat. You can also add additional lemon juice to the pot and the meal has a tangy taste, yum. This how we cook it in the Mediterranean end of Turkey.

    Turnips are also a great alternative to potatoes in au gratin. Just make sure to remove the membrane just under the peel and above the turnip meat. See you tube channel for Papa G, lo carb cooking for the recipe.

    Thank you for reminding of turnips! I had forgotten about turnips! I do love Olives, pumpkin seeds, and cabbage on a regular basis 👏 I’ll definitely check out your cabbage steak recipe though because I haven’t tried cabbage steak.

    I slice my cabbage thinly, and boil it in salt water for about 7 minutes drain it and use it as keto noodles. It works great.

    Extra light olive oil is in many cases fake. Also the mild taste is from reduced polyphenols. I love your videos.

    I shredded cabbage and sautéed it than add lamb put that in 3 leaves of lettuce noice

    I love Okra, its just hard to find here in CA, its only in season a few months out of the year, and yuck i hate olives, i wish i loved them. I LOVE goat cheese and cabbage!! whoo hoo!

    All the yummy things I like to eat ... except that I add at least 2 glasses of wine to all of these most days! Huge problem :(

    I have been eating turnips. I make them into fries. I use it in beef stew or any recipe that calls for potatoes. I love olives too. I do not eat enough of olives. They do make a great snack. For some strange reason I cannot eat green cabbage. The reaction I get from eating green cabbage is worse than drinking milk. Is red cabbage ok? for some strange reason red cabbage does not bother me.

      Love olives!!! I would think you can roast the red cabbage!!!! So interesting you have that reaction to green cabbage.
