*This challenge was a lot of fun, and we didn't even have to spend any money on it for a change!* 😁 Have you guys ever tried building random Yu-Gi-Oh decks out of bulk commons with friends before?
I feel like the entire APS crew is just "We'd roll worlds if we had money to buy meta" especially with how far fetched some of the deck combos we saw here were.
Not even gonna lie, I casually played as a kid but stopped playing years ago. Seeing your videos made me remember how much I loved the game as a casual player. Going to my first meet up with some friends to play tonight in a long time!
Nice Video Guys!! Just one thing: i liked it more when you show the Card a fews seconds long without blending it from right to left. Makes it easier to pause and read the cards!
its actually not that hard i say look into war movies and understand war as card games are basically like a war type situation you have your protectors at the back and the charge units at the front.
Try Duel Links. It's honestly a great intro into the game. Just don't overspend on it. I recommend Duel Links Meta as a YT channel to check out and get an idea of how it goes. DISCLAIMER: It doesn't have many of the mechanics and cards of the OCG or TCG, but that could be to a beginner's benefit.
Watching this casual duel is great. I'm learning about the different types of summoning (other than normal, set and fusion) and how having effect monsters to link summon helps/is needed. The link and synchro summons in this duel are awesome.
The effect of Balerdroch makes him special sumon from GY in defense position, exept for that i think the duel was realy fun to wach, great mach best o luck for you guys
Lol this makes me remember bring like 400 cards in a baggie to toys r us when i was like 8 to duel and had to idea how to build a deck so i just used my entire collection
Jelly cannon for game 🤣 this duel was much more entertaining then modern Yu-Gi-Oh this was very fun to watch I love zombies they just never died haha knee slapper
I just recently got into YuGiOh again and found you guys, love the content, cant wait to be able to find cards to buy again. Keep it up you guys. Love the content
These people are the best I've been following them for like 6 months and I looooove their videos. They make me laugh, I watch with intense focus on who will win and get excited when they find rare card. I wish I had a friend group to play yu-gi-oh like this. Just sit for hours making decks and dueling. I only play yu-gi-oh by myself but these guys living the dream
was watchin ur videos for like 6 months now in an irregular order, but i got to say i abonated just now cuz u guys are allways fun to watch 😂 even how u assembled exodia or ur first content, as if we played together in the past - thx for the memories haha
I really enjoyed the bulk challenge. What makes it even better is the amount of cards. Doing bulk challenges with 500, or less cards makes it really underwhelming. I also liked that we got several updates during the building. Half of what makes these videos is the build, and getting more info on that was great.
I'd love to see them do this kind of challenge again, always awesome seeing the crazy strategies they try to come up with using these giant card boxes!
2nd video watched on this channel and I called it. I rooted for trell, the underdog here, and payday came early. I do have to say, it was a pretty close duel😎
9:23 wait so uni zombies effect goes away the effect that says that you can't attack except with zombie monsters dose it go away if gets sent to the Gy I'm not familiar with it in the synchro summon for beelze??
i really love this video - the idea is fantastic and the duel was fun! the only critisism is that the music is a bit loud but I say that about a lot of things haha, keep it up Team!
What a great concept! I wish I had though this when I had a tote full of old Yugioh Cards. Woulda been a fun way to torture my friends as well as test their deck building skills. Gotta do this again for sure!
these are the dudes that scare the shit outta you in a dark alleyway, but when you actually get closer you find they're playing Yu-Gi-Oh! with full on Duel Disks and a LP counter that shows up as a holographic.
Best random card challenge yet. Rogue deck building at its finest. I like the eBay challenges but they can be almost painful to watch sometimes lol. Like how they show off how inventive you can be with the game though.
I love the idea of this video, it would be awesome to see the same format but intead of making one deck make three decks echt from the same box to give it another intresting angle to choose what what staple cards to use in what deck. And to put an even crazier twist on it; you dont play yourself but you het 2 different friends to play the deck for you withoud knowing what they play.
Fun fact: once he activated uni-zombies effect he could only attack with zombie monsters for that turn so that attack with Beelze was illegal. Disclaimer: I understand they just did a challenge and probably havent used these cards in a while I'm only explaining this for educational purposes. At the end of the day they just did a challenge and had fun doing it so it's no big deal really.
So real question, if neither player read the card and player 1 says it does a thing... player 2 is responsible for whatever happens next if they chose to accept the effect and not read. Doesn’t mean you should cheat on purpose but like this example here neither player read it and they moved past the play... idk but that doesn’t feel like cheating to me
If you all would organize your stuff by card type for example normal monster, effect monster, fusion, ritual, magic trap, etcetera etcetera it would be alot faster finding shit you need. It may take a few days but trust me, its well worth it
9:35 and 11:16 Beelze and Unicorn can't attack that turn because the player is restricted by Uni-Zombie's second effect "You cannot declare an attack with monsters except zombie type monsters for the rest of the turn after you activate this effect"
i don’t even play and i enjoy watching y’all. i would be interested in seeing videos like this but maybe even with a commentator explaining some of the cards.
At 9:30 did he sent the 2nd mezuki from hand or Deck? If it was deck he couldn't attack with beelze, since uni locks you into only attacking with zombies.
I think an awesome challenge would be that using one of those boxes you act like its a deck and they both draw from it. So they both could literally get anything. And if they find a searcher card they would grab the next 40 cards in the box search through them and pick it so they dont have to look through the whole box. but they both share a deck of 5000 cards.
So its awesome to see you guys play at home and iv been watching you guys since well before covid i was wondering will we ever get to see you guys at card shops or locals at all in a real yugioh setting playing other ppl then your selves?
You guys have the knowledge the swag and the right epic level of nerdism. Probably my new favorite channel love these videos and I don't even like Yu-Gi-Oh
Funniest moment I had in yugioh had 2 moments. 1) when I used Jowgen the spiritualist to shutdown my opponent's entire deck design. 2) Thousand eye fusion with 2 relinquish sucking up monsters left and right.
Have you considered running chaos ruler in a zombie world deck? Since it helps thin your deck out and search a monster and most zombies are dark attribute anyways so it’s basically a stronger needle bug nest. Probably an underrated synchro in my opinion.
Yo can y'all tell Trell to fucking take it down a notch? Man has us drowning in his drip, if he was a Speed Duel Skill that'd be an insta Umi smh my head
19:58 Trell uses Doomking's effect to Special Summon itself from the GY during his Standby Phase, but this card is supposed to be Special Summoned in Defense position. Not sure if this really mattered though as Trell's such a great player and would still have defeated Alec next round regardless.
not any worse than using uni zombie to send from deck to gy and then attack with beelze the same turn even though its not a zombie, happened a few times and definitely mattered.
*This challenge was a lot of fun, and we didn't even have to spend any money on it for a change!* 😁
Have you guys ever tried building random Yu-Gi-Oh decks out of bulk commons with friends before?
you guys should just try and make a cube draft from all of your bulk cards
I do this with my sister !
This is some deshun stuff
that was great 👍
Anytime me and my little bro get a structure deck, we look through all our cards and make stuff like this. This was really cool
You guys are simultaneously the dorkiest and the coolest Yu-Gi-Oh fans I've ever seen.
These nerds are who I wanted to be when I grew up. I love the goobers. Just dudes hanging out, making videos, having fun.
Yes
😆
Need friends like this !!!!
That is what most yugioh fans are and I'm a Giant fan of yugioh

I think it's safe to say no one has ever said that sentence before.
Discovering what cards were in my box was the most fun part for me lol. What's the coolest cards you've found in bulk lots?
Update Jammer in a pile of commons
Just great staples in good rarities! But you can find a lot of damaged ultimate rares in bulk at card shops!!
A ton of needle ceilings and harpie girls with the banned art I found in my bulk commons! Along with a few tournament pack commons
Hey Alec, what do you think of the reveal of the Koriboh Brothers and their special summon spell card for deck thinning?
Should have used those speed duel cards lol.
My dumb brain thinking that they were making decks with 10,000 cards in each.
Same honestly. That would have been pretty funny though!
Imagine having to shuffle that
Thought at first too
Same😂
115 turns in, activate Fiber Jar
I feel like the entire APS crew is just "We'd roll worlds if we had money to buy meta" especially with how far fetched some of the deck combos we saw here were.
I agree
If Pro Dueling was a thing in our world, they'd be able to have their own Duelist Kingdoms
I bet Trell’s elbow was sore from having to lean on it so much while digging through that box.
"... Special summon from ha...aaaaaaaaaaand an Effect Veiler"
Perfect synced the Hand/and
Laughed so hard at this moment. Enjoyable video
I would like but...69
Still watching but nothing beats Team APS in-house content, I hope everyone is staying safe and we see more of this with everyone !
Man those decks were absolutely crazy especially considering it was whatever random stuff was in the box. Great work Trell and Alec good duel :D
Let me just get my deck
*Pulls out 3 suitcases
Not even gonna lie, I casually played as a kid but stopped playing years ago. Seeing your videos made me remember how much I loved the game as a casual player. Going to my first meet up with some friends to play tonight in a long time!
bruh i love when Trell is in these he be having me dying XD
facts trell be making these extra fun XD
Nice Video Guys!! Just one thing: i liked it more when you show the Card a fews seconds long without blending it from right to left. Makes it easier to pause and read the cards!
man I still don't understand Yu-Gi-Oh, but you guys make the game look so comfy and fun!
its actually not that hard i say look into war movies and understand war as card games are basically like a war type situation you have your protectors at the back and the charge units at the front.
Go watch a couple episodes of a newer anime yugioh. Arc-V is a cool one that would showcase all summoning techniques and stuff
Try Duel Links. It's honestly a great intro into the game. Just don't overspend on it. I recommend Duel Links Meta as a YT channel to check out and get an idea of how it goes.

@@mysticstrikeforce5957 ????
@@mysticstrikeforce5957 that's super counter productive lol
I wanna see their personal tournament decks against each other
The disappointment on Alec’s face when Trell played jelly cannon 😂😂
Alec's face at around 6:47 when he saw the Uni Zombie was hillarious. That was the "This some bs" face lmao
Great video.
the fire of this match is too good just seeing the randomness of both decks yall def need to do this again

Yes!!! This is the video we’ve been wanting. To see genuine later and jokes, while building a deck, more of these please!
We need to see the rest of the guys tackle this challenge! Alex! Where are you?!
He's in school
He's at duel academy lol
This is exactly what I love. Something like this being weekly would be awesome
Lol this makes me remember bring like 400 cards in a baggie to toys r us when i was like 8 to duel and had to idea how to build a deck so i just used my entire collection
I gotta say, as a black teen in an all white suburb. These guys gave me hope and make me feel included
This was one of my favorite bulk challenges. I like seeing the team building semi good decks. Nothing competitive. But a deck that isn’t beat down.

Do a duel where the deck can't have multiples of any cards
Or one where you can have any number
@@scotttemplar8740 Idk about this one, could become boring quick lol
This was really fun to watch. Yu-gi-oh at this random jank power level is pretty nostalgic.
The intro got me laughing straight away 🤣
The deck trell built was very creative and surprisingly synergistic but great duel the both of you made it so fun to watch
Loving the editing. Showing every card they play is great
I mean team aps was actually first
JELLY CANNON! You actually used Jelly Cannon! Made my day!
Dueling with decks based off the anime would be sick. Btw I'm talking classic anime, the best one.
We do a version of this where you pull 60 random cards out of your bulk and try to build 40 cards into something. Fun rainy day stuff.
This was an awesome idea, you see some sense of competency in the decks, and get to see them struggle to make it work, nice job.
Best random card challenge yet. Rogue deck building at its finest. I like the eBay challenges but they can be almost painful to watch sometimes lol. Like how they show off how inventive you can be with the game though.

14:02 Alec's reaction 😂😂😂
A five-way duel each person must use a deck representing a Yugioh protagonist up to Arc V.
Amazing duel as well.
Fun video. Nice seeing you guys playing with some slightly more usable cards especially in this sorta format, lots of skill expression.

If anyone ever makes a pauper format or something similar for ygo, Zombies would wreck shit.
Love zombie decks

Yea we caught it too late. These things happen
At 9:30 did he sent the 2nd mezuki from hand or Deck? If it was deck he couldn't attack with beelze, since uni locks you into only attacking with zombies.

Nice and satisfying video, also Squamata was amazing to see!

Definitely curious of the full profile of there decks they both made some spice from just a Box a piece
I think an awesome challenge would be that using one of those boxes you act like its a deck and they both draw from it. So they both could literally get anything.
