As a returning player who missed years of cards, I really cannot emphasize enough how helpful it is for me to watch you guys on this channel duel compared to other YGO channels because you actually read out the card effects when you activate them, rather than spamming through your entire combos in seconds.

I didn't say I didn't like huge combos, I said that as a new player it's helpful that TeamAPS actually walks through the effects of all of their combos instead of assuming the viewer knows what each card does off the top of their head, like most other YGO channels do.

Really like how you put an image of the card, it makes it a lot easier to understand what cards are being played

Spirit Charmers Vs Shaddolls would be an interesting duel as they'd both be stealing from one another

@@Th3Answ3rs With the additional card called "Curse of the Shadow Prison" if the conditional clause is met, having 3 spellstone counters upon it, it allows you to use your opponents monsters as fusion material for your Shaddolls by removing the counters. Also with the recent Shaddoll SD, it comes with Super Poly which allows you to use your opponents monsters too. So yeah, technically it's not "stealing" like the charmers do but it would be considered as stealing
Me and a friend tried it, me using charmers and him using shaddolls and it was closer game than you would think.
Then again, I opened with pretty good hands with Aruru and Fairy Tail Luna putting in a lot of work, helping me get rid of any of extra deck monsters.

I have to mention your previous video on the second channel and react that I loved it and enjoyed to watch you two duel. Also thanks for the explaning and showing cards to the camera. Very professional. Side story that I was just about to go to sleep when I've seen the notification and I had to see what you have made. It' 1:23 in Hungary.
Felgrand structure deck was the first thing i bought when i started playing yugioh again, and even till this day, i'm playing arkbrave and felgrad in my own blue eyes guardragon deck, just beacuse they are one of those cards that no one would expect them in a duel these days 😁
Same reason I still use an exxod, master of the guard deck
back when you could still make some nice combos but it wasn't such a convoluted mess yet... miss these days

I came back to this game after a 15 year hiatus since 2004. I’m glad to see that the community is still strong with passionate and knowledgeable players. I only I wish wasn’t the only one of my friends who still plays to this day. Wish I had cool friends lol

Charmers are cute, so I'd say choose any deck featuring a scary archetype.

It entirely goes by the route you guys build Charmers by.
If you actually use the charmers I'd go Shaddoll Showdown, they'd just keep stealing from each other thanks to Super Poly and Charmers, but Shaddoll would probably dominate that matchup.
If you go the Possessed + Extender into Awakened route, I'd go against Space-Time Showdown. I know that's a starter deck, but there isn't really any structure decks that this deck can have an even and fair shot against, the deck is incomplete without the link Charmers and the other 2 Awakened monsters not included in the structure, and even then is an extremely low-power deck relying on a few powerful staples, even on a casual level.

I started playing Felgrand when it came out, as of today it is still my favorite deck.
I like how the duels always have the GX music in the background reminds me of tag force, GX really did have the best dueling theme

that was illegal move on the start of second match, paladin can't activate it's effect to summon felgrand that was equipped to it unless there's already a legal target in graveyard
Actually it can due to the monster being sent to the graveyard by its effect

@@Yslohr How about a link monster that let's you special summon one level 7 or 8 Dragon Monster from the graveyard to one of it's link markers when it's special summoned. Or maybe allow you to special summon them from the grave once per turn if a field spell is active. Would make for a great combo with the dragon ravine. I can hope

I miss the style of these yugioh duels back in the days easy,game changing momentum,not a big fan of the new dueling style like sunchronizing or links that's just me..But over all love this content of TEAM APS yall explain very well when u guys duel, dope watching old school dueling brings back memories thank u duelist and keep "believing in the heart of the cards".. 👍

Great duel. I have all the monarch cards. Even Kuraz who isn't part of the structure deck that Alec was using. Using effects to tribute summon cards faster is such a cool idea 😀😀
Rise of the true dragons was the first structure deck I bought when I got back into yugioh, it's one of my favorites and why I still play dragon decks to this day.

I love how much variety you can have Lol. I play HEROS, my one best friend plays Zombies, my other plays Monarchs, my other plays Blue-Eyes. It’s so fun and wacky everytime and that’s one of the many things I really love about YGO.

I love the felgrand structure deck, I had so much fun playing it and interrupting people's plays with call of the haunted.
I think at some point seeing the cyber dragon structure against the against the ancient gear structure would be really cool!

I love the monarchs!! I have my own monarch deck but im missing 2 monsters and 1 spell but i think its still pretty good right now. My favorite monstwr in the deck is zaborg!

Super cool! These 2 structure decks at the time were very powerful. Monarchs were my favorite since the first introduction of them back in the day. I just wish they'd get more archetype support that can really help the bricking problem with this deck. 🤷♂️😂
