A couple lightning bugs trace the air around us, soft glow. Moonlight pale on a warm summer night.
Every few steps her hand grazes the back of my fingers; I feel the light touch of her hair on my shoulder occasionally.
My heart rate is slow somehow; the night moves lazily around us. I feel a touch of sweat on my temple; a night breeze kisses my neck.
She moves easily, gracefully; her eyes cut towards me often. At this hour my hands are usually unsteady, a shake barely present - but tonight, steady and relaxed, freely swaying next to her presence in the breeze.
