i agree, and sometimes you just wonder what they wait for anyway, doing as if they would posess some sort of "super musical understanding" where there's only pure talent to listen to !
It doesn’t take a lot of lung capacity to play the harmonica. Also, almost all of the notes he’s playing are on the inhale which is quite helpful being that he’s exhaling when he sings.
I'm 66 years old. I grew up on the Blues. I went to many Blues festivals over the years. Any of these young people would of fit in at these events. Yes I would be happy to pay to see them play
I grew up singing the blues. Nothing like good blues sung by someone with the ear to tune the chords. In blues, it seldom that the vocal line is actually "in tune". Most of the time, blues singer are tuning to a 64th of a tone. The difference is so small the human ear doesn't really hear the difference. What we do hear is a chord the us alive, that has the resultant notes way up in the Gods, singing their loudest. When I wasn't singing blues I was singing baritone in a Barbershop chorus and quartet. A capella close harmony is another place where chords must be tuned. Singing in the cracks, as opposed to the white notes and black notes is difficult but also fun
Definitly the German guy, Lucas. Het got the audience on fire. My Mojo was working too when he was performing. And then there was Max Blues Bird and Blessing and Melissa and Sebastiaan and Mariam and i had to question my first choice, difficult to pick one. To me it also depends on the song you've chosen
@@tdperkinsgmail I wouldn't say ruined but definetly a line between going faster to be different and add to the song and going too fast and I think that was just over that line of being a bit too fast
Lucas...what a talent! He has a look that BELONGS on the big screen. He has a classic retro look and style. We need to see more of him on tv or in movies. Great compilation, by the way. They were all very talented.
Indonesia has a big blues scene, you won't see it but it's there. I used to jam every week with a bunch (30+) of guys and gals, and that was just one group in Jakarta. Pretty much every major city has some sort of blues group/club/jam night. It's fun :D
"This band"? You mean every band. Because in every country where the Voice exists the bands are fantastic. Every genre of music is thrown at them and they're outstanding every time.
After all the years it's great to see Ton Jones still kicking it !! I use to be a service tech and when I would work on a home I use to get stories from 70 80 90 year olds that would open up about their lives and the point that her and husband use to dance in their beautiful home to Tom Jones. It just broke my heart as I'm trying to work. What really touched me was she started crying saying she missed her husband so much as she put on a Tom J. song. It really touched me and knowing that's what I have to look forward to. But this song they did was fabulous, All together now !
This was the best of the best, that I have ever seen on this show. Got my Mojo and I'd Rather Go Blind were my faves, especially loved, I'd Rather go Blind...what a great voice!
I love how universal Black American music is. I saw i lot of myself in people and cultures that looked nothing like me but spoke like everything i come from. They did it so well. Really well. Genuinely impressive stuff from them all.
5:28 - Lucas could certainly play Elwood, if they ever do a remake of The Blues Brothers. Speaking of which, you can't do "Everybody Needs Somebody" without doing the Blues Brothers' strut. 😉
I love the blues and grew up listening to it and even went to several Blues bars in my younger days. But it really is great to see people around the world enjoy it and that it isn't just a Gulf Coast and Southern USA sound but is so universal.
Lucas Reiger was amazing. He had the audience behind him and what the hell is wrong with those judges not turning??? They missed an incredible performance. BTW, well done to all the other performers, they were all very talented.

That tiny girl doing Etta has some Soul, and Sebastian was convincingly a man of constant sorrow. Too many “chewed” the words. You don’t wow without a little feels
I watch all of these singers from across the world sing American songs. Sometimes better than anyone else can. Just reaffirms we have the greatest songs/music ever that everyone can and apparently does enjoy. I love it.
It's not the original though, it's a folk song which was first recorded in Appalachia in the 30's. There are a variety of lyrics. I personally like the Nina Simone version better. The Be Good Tanyas have a nice little version too.
i know lucas ain't no muddy waters, but this young man really rocks the house. while Max, with his own song, he deserves more recogitions, this guy is somethin' else.
after all the years I've been following Voice and Talent, it's time to mention the musicians in the orchestra. It's absolutely amazing how it conjures up specialized bands as well as musical styles that are completely different. Bravo!
Ok that dude just Stevie Ray Vaughn well that was. One of the best covers tunes I have heard sounded musically like Mr.. Vaughn's music but changed enough that you. Could tell I loved that part but it is called the voice he started singing man fu----- INCREDIBLE!!!!! Good job keep up the great work

Okay, I think the judges don't realize how *difficult* it is to sing and play the harmonica at the same time--his lung capacity is incredible!
He was born in the wrong era.

Pharrell would have turned so quick here in the States 🔥🔥🔥
Actually before COVID the river tours had acts like this, nicely done. Saw a version on the General Jackson here in TN 10 years back
He would have had 4 chairs about 4 bars in if on the US show.
