I see many people saying they like to drink whiskey and smoke to these songs but for me these songs help me stay calm and relaxed while driving on a curvy mountain road while its dumping snow to and from work!
I agree that's better, but you see, I'm a programmer, I rest with Don's tunes with a glass of whiskey, so it depends from person to person.

It's basically someone who studied a lot of SRV.
So comforting and easing my pain, such wonderful songs, touching my heart and soul. I lost the love of my life last February 2020 after being together for over 40 years. And I still feel lost sometimes. But every time when I feel so cold and lonely, I come here to listen to the Blues, and somehow my empty feeling seems to fill itself with this beautiful music and I start to feel warmer again and my heart doesn't feel so heavy anymore and than I think about my children and grandchildren and I know life ain't that bad and that I will survive without him even with that hole in my heart. Thank you for this great gift of beautiful songs. You make me feel like a whole Dutch lady again, God bless.
