Turned 66 in June my wife would have been 60 in November, she was diagnosed with lung cancer in July and fought fight. On 9/9/23 at 7:32 pm she lost the fight. So in her memory and for my sanity I set and remember the last 23+ years of the best thing to ever come in to my life. My loving wife. ❤ Tammy ❤. RIP.

I’m a hospice nurse and sometimes when I’m feeling sad after a hard day I’ll smoke outside while listening to this playlist. It’s such a bitter sweet playlist because the blues can bring such sad feelings but these blues let me know that everything will be ok. I hope everyone out there who might be going threw a rough time it will be ok even if it doesn’t feel like it sometimes. Everything will be ok. I love you all ❤️✌🏼

Раньше, по молодости, когда я попадала в безисходность или в депрессию , я слушала блюзы, но мне сейчас уже 64 и я поняла, что слушая блюзы это прекрасное самовыводящее настроение, приводящее себя в норму жизни как медитация и самоурегулирование самого себя в своей Душе, а это самое главное - жить в равновесии с самим с собой и тогда легче идти по жизни. Мне очень помогали блюзы и я знаю, что я такая ни одна, нас много и мы едины в каких бы сторонах не жили. Всем привет и здравия в равновесии самим с собой, что и приносит Здоровья!

I love this type of music because it makes me feel like I'm in a high end bar, With a red dress, black heels, sipping martini, or some fantastic red wine, staring at the spectacular city views, celebrating a million dollar deal that just closed. And in that moment and night nothing nothing else matters. I don't smoke but I feel like a cigar would really be necessary for that aesthetic 😂😂

Omg man I have listened to these over n over for a couple years or whenever I first found them and as a man that was first turned onto the blues back when I was twelve it was on a radio station called kmod out of Tulsa Oklahoma was called smokehouse blues came on every Sunday night it's me I never missed it from the first one I heard way back then I'm 49 now they stopped them idk when many years back sure wish they'd start it up again. I'll never forget one song dude sang I got a rocket in my pocket and it's custom made just for loving you. Still haven't been able to find that particular one

When I'm listening to the blues, I'm home. This is where I feel me. Here, I don't have to fight with the version of me that the world wants me to be. It just makes sense. It just fits like it was sewn to my size.

I was inspired by a friend. Kenny Mylam, when I heard how he played harmonica, to learn how to play. I'll never be as good and natural as he was but for 55 years I have played along with the masters. Right here on You Tube. I play with BB King, Clapton, Hooker, Elvin Bishop. At least 1 hour every day. THANK YOU FOR THE MAGIC. This platform has enabled me to learn how to really be good. Still learning!
