  • Come island hopping with us! A short boat ride away is St Johns island where we explored some nature walks and read about it’s more interesting past as a prisoner of war camp and isolation island.
We then walked over to Lazarus island, famous for its beautiful cove where we had a picnic before a splash in the island perfect sea.
Our boat returned and we hopped aboard to Kusu Island, meaning turtle island, where we found a beautiful temple, climbed 152 steps and met some hungry turtles!
After we arrived back to Singapore and cleared customs we headed out for Korean BBQ!!
This trip was very kindly paid for by one of our viewers. We were blown away by your generosity and kind words. Thank you for such a memorable trip, we are so grateful!

We have ben to Singapore so many times but never ventured to St.John's nor Kesu Islands, we also like the Korean BBQ , Melbourne has a great one where they cook it for you after you have chosen whatever you need, and you can keep going back, the hotplate is an upside down pointed hat about 8feet in diameter, great food and atmosphere. love the way you take your children and give them experiences of life. The hilltop site also house a muslim shrine (keramat). The pilgrims will tie a yellow cloth band round their wrists after paying homage there during the pilgrimage month (can't remember which month).
