Can you use the adapter dial for the pro peddles when using the pro wheel also as I have the driving for shifter the adapter and both pro peddles and wheel but the peddles don't work when plugged into the adapter but the shifter works

I was just bout to say, logitech needs to develop a solid new shifter from the ground up! Their products have always been great, but that shifter just isn't with the times
@@daherbst8720 A shifter and Handbrake probably, since there is still some ports available on the wheelbase. And definitely some new wheels. Formula, GT and Rally wheels.

2:03 - You might want to check the assignments tab of G Hub. If you have a shifter connected to the wheel, you should see View 1 and View 2, with the former of the two selected by default. View 1 is for the wheel buttons, View 2 is for the shifter, just as happens on 3:22 mark of the video.
On PC it's possible to even use the adapter with older Logitech wheels, if the adapter is connected to USB port of PC. At least a dream of having Driving Force GT with clutch and H-shifter could possibly come true at this point.

I'v personally built extremely cheap arduino version of this unit for my G27 set. It works fine and supports additional buttons and axes. But the fun part was when I bought a cheap sim handbrake lever, and realized, that the hardware is the same arduino chip, and software also supports additional buttons and axes. So it is possible to built a unit which combines shifter, pedal and handbrake in one usb-device. And all you need to buy is two DB-9 connectors, because arduino comes with handbrake. To be fair I have not built it yet. And in my case it will be easier to add handbrake support to my device, rather than adapting software of handbrake to use pedals and shifter.
Glad they came out with this ,The wheel is just really expensive, but I think the pedals are worth it until I can upgrade to the direct drive wheel

The wheel is priced fairly considering it is on the level with a $3500 simucube. The fanatech DD is like 850 to 900 and it is so much better!

Can this 'adapter' be used to connect the G Pro pedals to a Thrustmaster wheel base (T300) for use on consoles?
Thrustmaster does make an adapter to use Logitech pedals with their wheel bases, which is my current setup.
It would be similar to option 3 of this video, and then attach the TM adapter to the end of the serial plug to go into the TM wheel base instead of the logi wheel base.
For me its perfect to upgrafe my wheel g29 and shifter to a fanatec and only have to buy the base of fanatec and reuse my hardware

So I'm running a TX leather with T3PA pedals on pc and with this I could use my G29 shifter finally! But can I bind the knob to any action/keybind or is it useless in this config?
I'm thinking about crafting an handbrake from my g29 pedals (2/3 potentiometers disconnected) and if I keep all the electronics the adapter might think this is still a full pedal set and let me bind the last one to the handbrake. 🤷♂
Or you could use it when your g29 pedal potentiometers die. Which is happening now to me,they have a mind of their own. I really dont want to spend like a 1000ish euro on a fanatec or thrustmuster when I have everything for Logi. Have to get this and the pro pedals,at least they dont have potentiometers that will die. thank you so much, i wanted to use both a shifter and a hanbreak on my ps4 but i t was not possible because the wheelbase only has 2 db9 ports, one for the pedals and one for the shifter, but now i might be able to use both if i use this adapter to use it with usb and the hanbreak with the port on the wheelbase

So i have the g923 with pedals and the Logitech's shifter, and i want to buy the drivehub cause i want to connect the fanatec's handreak! Can i do this without this or it's a must to have this to connect the shifter and the pedals on that and then connect it to the drivehub gate?
So u if u have a csl dd bundle from fanatec with steering wheel and pedals u cant use the adapter and the shifter? U can only use it with different wheel but not different pedal?
I dont think ill add more logitech, replace with a fanetech seems more cost effective at this point. Also anything to ditch logitch software would be awesome!

yes nothing like having a top of the line direct drive fanatec wheelbase with g29 pedals and shifter.
That's me, kind of. I recently got a Fanatec CSL DD 8Nm wheelbase and their handbrake, but I wanted to keep my G29 pedals and shifter, since I've modified them to feel really good now. I have the AXC truebrake and a heavier spring for the clutch and the CSS sequential shifter, plus a magnetic h-pattern shifter plate to go with the spring shim mod in the shifter. So this was the perfect thing for me. I also figured out how to adapt a hall effect sensor on the Fanatec handbrake, so that has improved reliability, too. But I doubt most people are going to mod their stuff as much as I do.

@@patthonsirilim5739 Not exactly, but it's really close for a fraction of the cost. And every review of that truebrake mod says the same thing, so I'm not the only one who likes it. If figure that if I felt like spending double or triple the money for a load cell brake pedal, I could have a slightly better setup than what this mod cost me, but this is a better bang for the buck.

You're using the copilot with the G Pro pedals? Which wheel base are you using? And since you mentioned drivehub I assume you're on a console?

Hey there, just wondering as Iv got two g920 shifters as 1st gear went out on 1. But seeing this vid made we wonder if this would be to turn my extra shifter into a handbrake. Am playing on xbox console but unsure if i need this so the xbox will pick it up. Or could i just use a 9pin female to usb adaptor.

I feel like Logitech is trying to pick up the pace on their gear waaaaaaaaaay too late. They should've done this a decade ago when Thrustmaster released their T500 RS and Fanatec released their Clubsport line of gear. Meanwhile a ton of us have already switched brands, and a lot more brands have joined the market as well.
Is Logitech doing too little, too late? Who knows, but at least they are making a step in the right direction to make their eco system more modular. I just hope for the Logitech user base (whatever little remains of it) that they continue to expand upon this.

Just leave your Logitech gear all hooked up but don't plug in the power plug. The pedals and shifter will still work, just assign the steering input to the moza wheel. I'm doing exactly this now but with a fanatec wheel and logi pedals/shifter

Hi man! I just bought the G29 Driving force for the ps5. With this adapter can I upgrade the pedals with the trueforce ones? I noticed that on the driving force the brake pedal is kinda hard to press when it comes to quick actions
The brake pedal is even harder on the Pro pedals.

Th8a has 2 cables one for their base and one usb so you can use any wheel but didn't know about consoles

Allowed me to upgrade my pedals to pro with just the G29 wheel. Wish I could also use this adapter to connect my g29 wheel + pedals to an Xbox x (I plan on trying this to confirm it does not work - will respond here to my comment if it works or not)

@@miraclemaker1418 it does not work at all, the adapter is clearly not designed for that. Specifically to connect the upgraded pedals to a normal wheel (G29). New pedals are amazing though, big $$ but worth it imo. Wish I could play Forza, meh. Lots of racing games on ps5

it should work because the g27 pedals are the same as the g29/920
Theoretically, it should work as long as the adapter is connected to the wheel. Take a note that due to differences between G27's pedals and G29's ones on the brake pedal, you might need to adjust the braking force accordingly.

why would you think on miss-match a for example
Fanatech DD with Logitech G293 Pedals or
Fanatech CL Pedals with Logitech Wheel base G293
if you can buy the adapter and you don't have a setup go for the Fanatech DD bundle instead.
you will get a 5-newton torque direct drive + a good set of pedals because for $1K for the Pro DD version of Logitech you can get the Fanatech DD GT Pro bundle + the update for the Fanatech CL Pedals with load cell and improved clutch.
