Yep got promoted in 5 months love my delivery station
I loved the delivery Wayyyyyy better. I got to work By Myself. The driver made more and I got to sit down while driving. In the warehouse you were on your feet the entire time unless you were on a break. Back hurting and all. I didn’t work for a DSP. I was a Amazon Driver for Amazon. It was a pilot program they had for six months and it was awesome. I started off stowing then picking then a driver. I started in 2019.

Man it’s a hard choice but I would say delivery Driver is better I couldn’t take standing on my feet for 12 hours standing in one spot was killing me ! I just wish us drivers actually work for Amazon instead of contact companies
I can't be mad at that choice standing on your feet 12 hours is no joke frfr. And facts it would be a different ball game if it was through Amazon.
I’ve only worked warehouse. I recently just moved from Memphis,Tn to Dallas, Tx was thinking about doing driving but was always hesitant. I’ve worked nights to days , days to nights transferred to 2 different sites and worked just about every position in different departments. All in All I rather just be an Amazon customer because working for Amazon even though they have there pros and cons they don’t pay enough for what they ask from you and 99.9% of the time want you as a single person to do a job that requires multiple people to get it done. The politics goes crazy and not just physically but mentally draining. That’s just my opinion salute to all the people that like their job and have to do what they have to do!
Aye S.B. You forgot about dealing with the outside elements on the delivery side. Like rain sleet or snow you basically gotta deal with it. With the little cheap poncho that you get. "Your poncho game." Also dealing with dogs and maybe walking into spider webs or possibly stepping in dog ish. My hat goes off to y'all on the delivery side my guy.
I sure did! And that's a huge deal for sure good call out w/ that fam you def. gotta make sure yo Poncho Game is official lol, and good looking my it is tuff but... gotta get it done for now💪
That's something I'm also trying to figure out. I don't have good luck not slipping on ice during the winter time which really worries me even if I try to find better shoes I'm sure I'm going to still slip lol. On the Delivery Station side, I'm sure there are some hazards there as well but hopefully slipping on something isn't one of them.
Definitely liked Amazon delivery just more dangerous I would say but actually working at another type of warehouse fed ex was like a relationship the grasss wasn’t greener fed ex got a good 2 weeks of me ✌️🤣🙈 Amazon warehouse got about 3 1/2 years planning on going back but God always decide that.

Well that’s good and new news to me of Amazon being better than Fed ex, I’ve herd a lot of people say it was better w/ them. And going back to the warehouse I diggz it!

I work in warehouse and I not like that its standing on feet all time and also they rash you about rates, in picking they now want even over 300 items an hour. One time I was packing at rate 313 per hour and pa still wanted that I do it faster. Another time they all time want me to pick above 300 /hour. That is what I dont like in warehouse. I get dizzy and in summer they were not turning ac to much and it was there too humid that I was close to passed out. But now in winter they cranking Ac that its blowing cold air all time on me that each day I get out sick with ear pains and tooth pains from that cold air blowing on me. Also air is so dry that skin on face get so dry.
That’s a fact that’s prob. The most challenging thing to get use to standing on your feet that long forsure. And Yeap those rates can be challenging as well, great feedback!!

@@captainamericaandcaptainma3337 No, still working, its not that bad, sometimes if you tired just u can slow down too, if someone is slow they put him to the position where they not demand fast rates like stowing or buffer on sorting site.

SB what’s the best way for me to make PA? I got about 8 months in im top three of the hardest workers in my site , Diamond Stower to be exact I normally hit a stow rate of 450 on a regular I’m grinding for that promotion I see people slack off that just motivates me more but idk not very optimistic haven’t even got ambassador yet
I have a few videos on it on my channel where I go into detail. but talk to your AM and ask them the step you need to take, make your resume and apply every time the position is open and even in other buildings near by if your really trying to get it.
Trying to be a PA is a big mistake. I don't see how why you would want to get promoted

Story time, the night manager from the gas station down the road gets petty and fills literal milk crates with pee bottles, my first time getting there a bit late, I'm walking up the steps to the associate entrence and there's three milk crates filled with water bottles and the first thing that popped into my sleep deprived head was that's a weird way for them to give us apple juice, then as I got closer I noticed that it was indeed not apple juice.
Asked a red vest and they had the "I'm the one that has to deal with that now" face and they told me about the guy at the gas station, happens at least once or twice a week. Aaaaaand that's when I for sure knew I wasn't even gonna consider fucking with the DSPs.
Smh that's wild but honestly... not surprised I've seen some stuff on the delivery side. crazy stuff Zack!

Warehouse is better, delivery side was rough for me I mean you get alot of packages and they expect for you to deliver all that in 10 hours.

I work at warehouse way better and some people are annoying or you know but you don’t have to deal with them all the time you know and when I don’t like i do work slow or talk to others 😂 this one short hair old lady safety she annoying and her and one young chick who always with her walking around she annoying too she might be her daughter or something idk 🤷🏻♀️ but i see her ass on the phone at desk in mega area and they been telling around get off phone brah brah brah yeah right 😂 no one cares they do whatever after they walks away !
