My building eliminated the PG position. I was told they created it temporarily in order to help out the PA’s during Covid when it was super busy. I agree because L1s telling other L1s what to do was not proper and did cause a lot of drama by creating a power dynamic that shouldn’t exist.
I could see that happening!
PGs should be on the safety committee since they have active eyes on the floor and the vest color would assuage that pushback.

I resigned from Amazon as a PA in May due to the fact I was being forced to do some immoral(also against policy and even possibly unlawful) shit. The job itself is easy, it's a cake walk. But leadership uses that against you to turn the other cheek when they do shit that is FOUL. They hope you have no other skills and stfu to keep your job. I witnessed shit that T1's would be escorted immediately out of the door for. Completely swept under the rug. So I quit.

It's horrible place to work, people get write up to go the bathrooms and say that's long break. If you go injured and you keep using you time, you'll get write ups. If you have health problems they will do anything they can to fired you. It happens to alot of people, I found a new job and I was going to put my 2 week noticed but instead they fired me. If you have low UPT or negatives they will fire you. I work at the warehouse, I would been 2 years with them

My FC in the UK, PGs are eliminated in stow but active in other department and PA is also downgraded to L2 . L3 has been upgraded to Ops and its really cool. L3(Ops lead) makes more money when they do overtime but L4 pay is cupped . Ls responsibility is crazy .

Zale is real what operations goes through and the hardest promotion is from a Pa to L4, a L4 to a L5 promotion is easy but a promotion from a L5 to L6 is the hardest where I see some area managers quit being an L5 for more than four years. To add to this managers goes through a lot and people label and judge them as lazy. I was shocked to see how much an L5 make after tax when my manager show me her salary and this is something need to be touch on. Also to add not everyone wants to move up for different reason school, kids other jobs etc. some of us just want to be responsible to clock in and clock out and not deal with politics and stress
That's some good stuff right there I would have to agree it really does seem like they try to reallllyyy make you work for anything above that PA position for sure. And yup I've said that plenty of times not everyone wants to and there's nothing wrong w/ that.
