  • Welcome! In episode 3 I reveal the results of my very first published pattern, the Sagebrush Scarf, available for free on ravelry. I share with you a few spring knits, including a cute tank, and a yoked cropped sweater. I show you needle delete animals made with stash yarn. I also show a few works in progress, including a yoked tee, and a Cowichan-Style Sweater. I also talk about a few lovely yarns, of course. And I introduce you to my sister’s wood-burning art enterprise and passion, Tattooing Wood Art.
Thank you for joking me here. Please like and subscribe to my channel, if you’d like to keep an eye out for future videos.

Thanks Mercedes, just found your podcast, I like your style! I use Briggs and Little yarn a lot. They are based in New Brunswick. Very affordable and lots of colours to choose from and 100%wool. They also have some fingering wool/nylon blend for socks but I try not to use nylon or super washed yarns in my knitting. Cheers from NS., Sharon.

I just discovered your channel today, and have been “marathon watching!” Love your aesthetics! As far as bind offs, I have not tried it yet, but I understand the tubular bind off is very pretty/invisible. Very Pink Knits has a tutorial on TH-cam. Continued success with your channel! Look forward to many more in the future! New subscriber ❤️

Hi Jeanette! Thanks so much for your lovely comment. I really appreciate your enthusiasm for watching 😄 And thanks for the tip about the tubular bind off. I’ve done it a couple times and have really enjoyed the way it looks when it’s done, and it is quite stretchy, which is great!

I use Jenny's stretchy bind off for all my sweater bind offs. I like the I-cord bind off as well depending on what I am knitting., Sharon.

Ah thank you for the tips on bind-offs. I’ve never tried the stretchy one, but will try to use it in an upcoming project.
