I have been winding my yarn for this year’s MKAL while watching this episode 😊 Thank you for sharing your experience of the last 4 MKAL. I have knit the last two MKAL shawl and I use them all the time. Your finished shawl look amazing maybe one day I will knit the Shawlography.

I finished my twists and turns only because I was so close and made a rule that I had to finish something to start something new lol but I do really love it! It was my first big knitting project and I was so proud to at I actually managed to do all those fancy bits and pieces! Last years was a non starter what will all the controversy and I was 2/3 of the way through an Aurora cabin so I just focussed on that instead.
I’m still in two kinds about this years considering I’ve got about 5 shawls on the go and have a super secret shawl test coming up 🤐 soon ❤ but I do have yarn sorted out for that one lol

God some people suck 🙄. Lovely to hear about your MKAL experiences. I did Shawlography and enjoyed it (I'm not a shawl person so have never actually worn it but it looks good hanging over the back of a chair! 😂). I wasn't planning on doing another one but maybe I'll buy the pattern just to support SW a bit after last year's experience. Love the colours you've got for yours this year.

Love your completed shawls and understand not wanting to finish the others.
Rather than frogging the centre square of your geogradient just change direction and turn it into a blanket.

I just adore your 2 finished shawls. They are amazing! I have just finished my Geogradient but decided to make the border 2 rows of dip stitch instead of 4. I will need to give it a good blocking and the ends still need to be done but I am classing it as finished. I have my yarn for the new one and am looking forward to starting. It was from stash. 😇
