Why are they bugging the ZUCC about their privacy when THEY AGREED TO THEIR TERMS AND AGREEMENTS
*Not that people read them anyways.*

Terms of use can't be illegal, besides I don't really think Marks minions had that effort to put every bad thing that they are doing to those terms of use.

It’s not compulsory to read t&c’s nor does it cater for everybody that uses Facebook. Not everybody has the mental capacity to understand them.
Any sort of terms and conditions are political language and non-understandable to the average human.
Furthermore nobody signed up for the things Facebook has done that weren’t written in the terms and conditions?
Do you know what some of those are? I highly doubt it. To perform certain evaluations that Facebook have admitted to, you have to be qualified to do so.
Just remind us why Facebook have been given fines running into millions?
      Multiple times....

But Google isn't as guilty as FaceBook, in a sense. Google almost set up the entire online world. Google helps people getting jobs, getting in touch with other people, and giving people their own mail address. Living without Facebook is way easier than living without Google, and Google actually gives a shit about your privacy.

When third party want their ads to be shown to specific people, it is facebook who delivers the ads to those specific people without giving the data to the third party. Only facebook uses the data and third party won't know to whom their ads is delivered to. Only the criteria they gave facebook in the first place.

@Chris Kerr when did Facebook say they never use your data? They publicly state that they’re business model is targeting ads based on data they have collected about their users, which is the same as all other free social media platforms that I’m aware of, (Ignoring the fact they probably also do this for non-users through shadow profiles which seems unethical to me)

That's not the point about sharing everything with people but the point is that how the information you share is used to psychologically manipulate you by sending you videos and images and information to manipulate your actions...please google Cambridge analytica..

    • @mrgreen3028

True to an extent, for people that are liberal like that. However there are many instances where your data is collected regardless of how frugal you are, e.g. many people own smartphones which collect data from apps, google and apple cloud type things etc.

Dominus Providebit Well lets one thing straight. I am not defending facebook nor am I even sure how much of what you just wrote is true or only the problem of facebook. I get all sorts of annoying commercial calls which my phone screens to block now but soon after i answer to ask where they got my phone number from it hangs up on me or a robo responds. So we need a major overhall of the way the system operates....just grueling facebook like a witch hunt wont solve any. I am more concerned about the power of google than something like facebook. Thesedays not only your whereabouts in every steps of of your move can be traceable to the second with any device conneted to the network of any sort such as the Internet and any documents you saved or emailed are potentially out there. Just they are not that important enough for anyone to bother to track down or use for any purpose.. it does not take much brain to know "logically" that your social number, finger prints, medical records, (non) criminal records, educational backgrounds, etc.etc. what so ever marriage records are all available for profiling...yes? What privacy are you talking about in this digitalized state and corporate conrtolled global societies..I am sick of people grouping together all of sudden witch hunting for nothing when they had no problem for many years...sign of no criticality and group gang mentality...well you should know things going on behind your back whether they tell you or not...not everything has to be said when everyone else including the state does it...commercial calls have been around many generations...yes? Well appreciate your intention to articulate and believe that you are working for facebook to know all these??? No offence. Good luck with solving there problems with "going- nowhere- only-ask-never- listen" type of wired theater of congressmen interrogation shenanigan like this. It is so silly to watch. Waste of time. The whole putting your life on social media thing is stupid anyways. As much as FB needs to burn in hell for their stifling of free speech I still believe that users had it coming

If I don't agree with sharing my location, it doesn't share it. Why would he ask him if he would give out the name of the hotel he stayed at. That's what I found irrelevant.

    • @alexparadise6179
      @alexparadise6179 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@lloydpetersilie5237 It's an analogy. He asks Mark Zuckerberg, an extremely wealthy, prominent, and world-famous individually if he would be WILLING to share what hotel he stayed at. He said 'No.' Meanwhile, hundreds of millions of middle-class nobodies pour their information into their facebook accounts, use facebook from their phones (which tracks locations REGARDLESS of you saying yes or no), and that information is databased and sold to advertising agencies, security agencies, and global corporations. That's why he asked it: because the guy who facilitates the exploitation of hundreds of millions of peoples' info would not even volunteer the name of the hotel he stayed at.

@@alexparadise6179 I'm being tracked because I agreed to their policy while making use of Facebook. No company in the world will invest money in advertising based on data collected from a site I use in which I explicitally said no to those ads; Facebook to third party- we've collected data from mister x, he doesn't like your product but you can try and convince him otherwise by sending us your money. I don't feel like my rights are being violated.

@@lloydpetersilie5237 This is a very subservient and apathetic take on the privacy policy of global social media corporations. They sold your data without your consent. They included in the fine print some vague references to collecting your data, without any fair information about the extent to which they would use AND SELL your data. You apathetically said, "Sure, why not," because you liked the product and wanted to use it, not realizing that the vanity and impulse-inspiring function of the program exists only as a lure for you to provide your data, not as any preexisting function.

He says that once you delete your account they get rid of your information. Ok.
Now i have this question, when i deleted my last account with one email address and then opened another account with a different email address, i get friend suggestions with people i had in the first account? This creeps me the fuck out.
Also, this has happened to me not only in Facebook, but with Instagram as well.
There's more, even with unrelated accounts, never linked either, some people from Facebook's friend suggestions show up in my Instagram friend suggestions, and as i previously said, both app accounts are totally unrelated, the email addresses are different, and not linked or synced one to the other, but it still this happens. WHY?

it could be that it matched your contacts. Also, when you delete your account, the posts you made are not on your account, they are on the internet. You would have to delete your information too, a process that can be explained to you just by searching it up.
