As a Komplete kind of dude, I can safely say that many things here are very valuable. Especially Session Horns Pro. Insane power and playability there.

Thanks Reuben, as someone who just upgraded their Komplete package you've given me a lot to think about, must have taken many hours of work to make this video - much appreciated! The Session Strings Pro 2 demo really floored me, I had no idea it could be that convincing when many libraries still have that typical MIDI strings sound.

@NI would be very nice to see more videos like this. Maybe how you create a demo song with these instruments. Especially for people who like the sounds of 'native' or basic instruments and not so much electronic sounds. Thumps up. Good video.

They're not well known but their stuff is so good. The only thing missing here are their acoustic pianos which are also top notch like their EPs. So really a generous offer for those waiting to jump into this...

Up to seeing this video and also owning both a number of NI and Spitfire Audio libraries I gave to the nod to Spitfire for a superior GUI and control of articulations, etc. This video changed my mind, at least as it relates to the e-instruments libraries show in this video.

The Session Horns are tempting. The trumpet sounds good but the alto sax solo (I play alto, tenor, soprano) sounds unreal. As a backing ensemble it's interesting. I bought the Cuban, Indian,Asian, African and Middle East package and it's well made.

You guys should do Sessions Horns 3 but with a full Big Band.
(4x Trumpets, 4x Trombones, 2x Alto Sax, 2x Tenor Sax, 1x Baritone Sax, 1x Soprano Sax.)
Session Woodwinds would be nice as well

I wish NI would give it as a discount (at least a percentage of the price) if I buy this now, when I purchase Komplete 13 Ultimate Collection next year. Per their current sales and promotions model, I will have to wait, it makes no sense for a hobbist to spend $400 if I'm going to buy K13 in about 7 months from now. I was also hoping the brass section had the french horn, a petty (as a matter of fact I was hoping they had an entire symphony orchestra.) Having said that, great product, beautiful sounds, the different expressions blew my mind.

Just to point out to anyone getting this great collection for this great price-
Your computer needs a big amount of FREE STORAGE to simply download each of these instruments after purchasing. I just bought this last night and with the exception of the (smaller size) electric pianos, i couldnt install anything else because it needs to tap into my computer’s limited storage space (33gb left) before it gets to my External SSD.
It does say to consider that on the fine print before buying.
I didn’t mind it because i was planning on running these off my external SSD. But i didnt consider it tapping into my computer first.
If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be much appreciated if you led me to how.
Until then, I must wait until i get another computer with more space to just get The Cremona Quartet, and both Session Horns and Strings into my SSD for use.
I don’t regret buying these as they sound spectacular!
But if this is a big problem to anyone- this is just a disclaimer to you.

In Native Access you can set the 'Content Location' to your external SSD and run them from here.

@@NativeInstruments thanks for replying. Thats what i have it set to. I always have it set that way and I made sure it still was like that before i tried to install Cremona / Session. But it says my computer needs the space to just install it. Which doesn’t make sense because its supposed to be going to my SSD.

    • @NativeInstruments
      @NativeInstruments  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi Mr. A, if you select your SSD as your download location, it shouldn't take your computer's storage space into consideration at all! Feel free to reach out to our support team so they can help you out bit.ly/n1install 😉
