I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and although I'm not crazy about every Native Instruments product out there, this one is fantastic. The sample recordings are pristine, the variety of sounds is great and the options for combining and altering the sounds with tonal controls, envelopes, etc is endless. Only gripe is that you can't seem to have a delay AND reverb on the same channel at the same time, but......really great for creating percussive combinations. Well done.
NI, you have struck gold again. I was sold at Chapter 4, the Music Track. Before watching video: "Awesome! Definitely worth a look, you can never have too many pianos, as it is the world's most beautifully expressed musical instrument." After watching video: "Incredible!! This is absolutely incredible. I love Kontakt, haven’t been completely enamored of their piano libraries (personal taste, I definitely need to explore them more), but THIS is easily one of the most beautiful and useful things I’ve purchased in some time! Love it.
I must agree with the comment about comparing this to Stratus and as NI's response to it. Now I ADORE Stratus; the swarms are amazingly beautiful and rich and the textures it creates are insane but you really do have to trust that it's going to work. You really have to put your faith in the behind the scenes of it to deliver and whilst it does, it is always a little sad you can't dig in and tweak it out. This seems like it will be a great addition and work in harmony with Stratus. Cannot wait to buy this as I'm sure everyone else is. This is gonna be such a huge part of the neo-classical sound going ahead I know!
I am gonna have lots of fun after I upgraded to CE 14 from 12! As a media composer, the piano colors sounds are really made for and fit Nat Geo documentaries or a background sounds for real estate or tourism marketing campaigns. Although it fits pop also very well, my ears just caught the cinematic vibes behind this great library. Thanks NI :)
Such a great sounds as outcome and a great produced video too. I dont know why but the sound touches my heart. I bought the S61 and Piano Colors will be my first software. Great Job!

Okay, so let's get this out the way...this is definitely NI's answer to Olafur Arnold's Stratus by Spitfire Audio. And as an owner of Stratus, I didn't really think I'd be that interested in this. After watching the video though, without having even used this yet, I can already see some pretty huge advantages here. 1. The price. Even excluding the introductory offer of $50 off, this is still way cheaper than what Stratus costs. 2. Perhaps the biggest perk; GUI. I can already tell that this is much more intuitive and easier to use. As much as I love Stratus, that has always been my biggest complaint. The GUI is pretty, but it's like looking at an alien spaceship when it comes to working it. It's a hot mess and it's not fun at all. Just purchased this and looking forward to test driving this bad boy!
I thoroughly agree. I also have Stratus, and although it has some very sweet spots it was nowhere near as versatile as I had hoped. This seems to be much closer to my expectations. It's downloading now!

I just bought Komplete 13 Ultimate CE and told myself I'll wait at least wait till 15 to update again. But in the last few months so many cinematic instruments have released, it's looking like I'm not gonna be able to stop myself from just updating to 14 when it releases

Could you please update komplete kontrol s series to a mk3 version with more features and expressive control improvements, internal step sequencer and industry standard plugin controls onboard without loading an instrument or effect plugin on the komplete kontrol software! Also we love to have some standalone sound engine in it.

I've never used sauces in my sound design recipes before but it is nice how the motion sauces can be LFO or sequencer patterns.
